I've tried a couple of Banh Mi places, so far this place is ranking up there.

Tried the house special (dac biet). The crunchy/chewy roll was about 8 inches long and stuffed with the classic ham and pork roll. I didn't see any pate but there was a white sauce like mayo and it somehow works! The veggies were perfectly crunchy and pickled. Asking for it spicey gets you a few squirts of Sriracha.

Doesn't get any better, especially at $4 each!

Fresh delicious Vietnamese sandwiches on a warm French baguette for under $4. Who could ask for more? Try the ham pate and turkey with vegetables, lemongrass and hot sauce. And if you're looking for a Vietnamese CD or iced coffee or ladies' undergarments this is the place for you.

This is the kind of place that New York City was made for.
