The legendary Parisian market lives up to it's name on Park Ave. The shop itself is predictable and, is what it is. The little cafe off to the side is a different story-it is fabulous! The coffee is rich and has a great depth of flavor, the cream is served hot and steamy. The marzipan cherries are world class. This place is great for people watching on Park Ave and enjoying some great coffee.

This was one of the worst teaing places I've been too. I can't believe they call themselves french. They served domino sugar with their coffee and had pastries that were mediocre at best. For an "upscale" and pricey place I would of

Pros: cute store front

Cons: expensive and horrible tea sandwiches and pastries

Fauchon the venerable French firm exploded onto the New York scene a few years back opening up 3 stores. They have since closed two and only have the Park Ave shop left. The packaged food is good not great although they make a nice piece of marzipan. If you sit down to eat be prepared to be annoyed. The sevice is slow and the servers seem disinterested in your existence. This is a shame as they can actually make a nice pot of tea and the tables are lovely looking. It's just that the table service is terrible.

Fauchon's chocolates and pastries are delicious. The price is a little steep but well worth it. Service is a little slow..so be sure that if you go, you are not in a hurry.

Forget the shop, the best reason to come to Fauchon is to have high tea, and there is no cuter place in the city to do it! The salon is a delicate pink and gold jewelbox, and the treat are outstanding. If you love chocolate with

What exquisite packaging and tasty treats to be found at Fauchon. This is a great place to pick up corporate gifts - or gifts for those people who "have everything". Try the teas and other gourmet items.

Fauchon, the famous French tea & pastry house opened in New York! Don't miss Fauchon's grand pastry classic: the "macaron" in chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla or Earl Gray flavors... But also their pastries, chocolates, candied fruit, gourmet

The sweets are wonderful, and afteroon tea's a treat, but F. really needs to learn something about customer service.
