I once tried to apply here and was treated like nothing.
I was asking simple questions about the hours and pay and was told to stop asking, and if i was interested i had to come in.I was immediately hung up on.I would never work for someone like that.
Instead I went and got hired at the Clarkson children's center, and losale-wjf4m-1422037605@craigslist.orge the kids and my boss =]

We agree with v.p The owner/director is VERY pushy. She is only interested in her bottom-line which is cold hard cash. There has never been a discussion with the owner where money wasn't mentioned by her.If your child isn't attending her daycare anymore she has no interest in their well-being.Our child was below the benchmark while at her center where as other children we know were at or exceeding it, even though she calls it The Schoolhouse it is nothing more than a daycare.She interferes with personal issues and acts as if she is a child counselor and has gone as far as to insult parenting skills and made assumptions about home-life based on nothing more than her self righteous elitist attitude for no reason other than choosing the side that would benefit her in not losing a client. She has sent home fliers asking for references because "enrollment of just 2 more children will pay for the cost of lawn and grounds maintenance." So,if you're looking for a daycare center where your child is just a dollar sign this is the place for you, if you want a place that truly cares about your child then please look elsewhere.

While this daycare is immaculate and my children enjoyed the teachers, the owner/director of this program is odd and very pushy. when my family moved out of the brockport area, we had to switch daycares. Soon after we received threatening letters telling us we owed additional monies to the daycare. After several attempts at sitting down with the director to go over our bank statements and her accounting, she flat out refused and continued these letters to us. I finally tracked down the check number she had missing from her accounting and called her with this information. We haven't heard from her since. Be careful of funny charges she may toss your way. During holiday times, she told us it would be ok if we brought our checks in a day late and then we discovered she charged us late charges.

My daughter was in the Kindergarten prep program at The School House of Brockport. They were wonderful! I was constantly amazed at the variety of activities the children participated in. They were organized, well run and very child centered. The staff was caring and helpful. I especially appreciated the directors many years of experience. She was quite helpful when my daughter was unsure of herself. She really went out of her way to make it work for my daughter while keeping the necessary structure of the program. I felt my daughter was very well monitored and safe. Great experience!

I check this daycare out several times. The director of the daycare came across as being friendly but also out of the loop when dealing with children. She took offense when you looked around and asked too many questions. When driving away, there were some children outside unsupervised and hitting each other. Needless to say, I didn't sign up.

PROS: close by, clean
CONS: unsupervised children
