The owner saw me pulling into his driveway with just about enough air to keep the tire on the rim. He quickly greeted me with a smile and came out pulling a jack to make the repair.Finding that the tire had sidewall damage and under state law could not be repaired, he offered to exchange mine for a legal one for only $20.00 plus tax installed. Any other dealer would have tried to sell me a new one knowing the car could not be driven.The tire was on our Jeep Commanche pickup for several years without a problem until we sold the vehicle.
