Vinny Vincenz is a quality neighborhood pizza joint. The pies have a great thin, crispy crust. All the ingredients seem to be fresh and of a high quality.

You can easily stop in to grab a slice to go, but unlike a lot of other pizza joints, Vinny Vincenz has a nice enough atmosphere for you to sit down and have a meal. And they sell beer and wine, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience.

Pizza places should be judged as pizza places. As that, Vinny's is great. I had a whole-wheat pizza and some grilled calamari salad, excellent. Best pizza around Stuy town. P.S. people are only rude to you when you are rude to them. Be nice and the service is better especially at Vinny's.

Pros: they have what you want when you want it, and it tastes good

I love Vinnys-- its a great place to run in for a slice, but also a great place to sit and eat real italian food-- the specials are always fresh and delicious!
Vinny himself is always there and is very nice and chats with all the customers. the wine and beer is cheap and perfect. This is a great place to come with friends and a hidden gem in the east village.

Vinny Vincenz is such a unique experience. I lived in Manhattan all my live and never have I had such good pizza and food together in one place. It might come across as a "slice place" but its not. I've had one of the best meals ever. And its so affordable. I could eat there every day and not break my budget. p.s. Best sicilian pizza in NY!

If you like pizza places that are not fancy, this is a great place to try. It has a complete menu with pizza, pasta, salads and other entrees as well as beer, wine and sangria. I live around the neighborhood and after my first try this was my go-to pizza place, especially because they stay open for late night cravings. The service can be slow if it's busy, but I've never had a bad experience.

When Vinny Vincenz Pizza came to the neighborhood, I was excited and ready to embrace a new pizzeria in the area.
When the place first opened, my husband and I found the pizza a little too salty and mentioned it to Vinny.
He seemed like a nice enough guy.
The pizza got a tiny bit better (not as salty; the crust tastes like dried, burnt cardboard )but the service got worse.
I've been in there a few times after and Vinny was just plain rude to me for absolutely no reason that I could fathom. I even watched and waited as he served MY ORDER to a person who came after me. That person got service with a smile (if you're a woman who likes to be flirted with, you usually get this). I got a rude grimace and something akin to a grunt when I finally got my order.
Better pizza with better service can be found on Avenue A & 13th- go to Muzzarella.
