My daughter began dancing with ADA over the summer and found that the experience was a fantastic one for her. She made lots of friends in her camp and learned a lot. It was obvious that her teacher had a great passion for what she does and was able to get my daughter to open up more than she ever had before. The office staff was extremely helpful and efficient. My daughter will be back for the fall and hasn't stopped talking about how excited she is to start class! Highly recommend that you send your children to ADA!!!

I started ADA a little later in my dance training with the hopes of potentially getting into a college dance program. I made it clear when I started to the director and owner, Jennifer Pollock, of what my goals were. She was such an integral part of my college process and she, as well as all of the staff and other students, made me feel warm and welcome in a new environment. Every person I have met who has a desire to dance, professionally and not, I would STRONGLY recommend ADA. The ability to take enthusiastic students and give them personalized attention as well as passion and fun is an incredibly hard thing to achieve. All of the staff is experienced and conducts themselves with the upmost professionalism. Needless to say, I got accepted into the college dance program of my choice and I truly have the Academy of Dance Arts to thank for that. I would never take back any of the time I spent at the studio and the lifelong friendships I have made are irreplaceable. I know I can always go back to ADA and feel completely at home.

My daughter began at ADA at 3 years old. We had a scheduling conflict, so we tried another, local dance studio when she was 5. We returned gratefully to ADA the next year! Five years later, I can confidently say that ADA is, by far, hands-down, the best dance studio in this Westchester area for fun and excellent instruction in jazz and ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, tap and more. It is a dynamic place where children of all levels are respected, given confidence to achieve great things and enjoy learning. The instructors are experienced, caring and turn dance classes into an enriching hour with the kids. Being a part of the excitement at ADA, with the creativity and vision of Jennifer Pollock, the director, touching my child's life with great expectations, we are fortunate.

The Academy Of Dance Arts in Pleasantville, NY is a positive environment for all age groups. My daughter has been dancing at ADA for the past 5 years and she has learned great techniques and developed a great self-esteem. Jennifer Pollack and her staff of well educated teachers are very dedicated to their students. I highly recommand ADA to anyone who is looking for a great dance company to put their child in.

My daughter came from a different local dance school before before entering ADA but sadly by the age of 9, after 5 years of dance, I didn't see any improvement. I started to wonder if dance was not really for her. We went to ADA to try something new. Only months later, I notice a tremendous improvement. This was no longer a glorified playdate. She was learning! The talented staff at ADA teach with enthusiasm and encouragement. My daughter is now technically strong and properly educated on the technique and the art of dance. All this is possible because this studio is so well run.

I was happy to start my younger daughter in the primary classes, where she too has grown tremendously. All I can suggest is patience to new parents. All children learn at different levels and the staff will help them find their strengths. No one walks in a star but everyone walks in important.
