Recommend the chicken and broccoli - great amber color sauce and the dish was light with the broccoli being nice and crisp. The general tsaos, a typically heavy dish, had light breading, making you feel not as stuffed as you normally would after eating. Loved that this wasn't a shady establishment and a nice place with linen table clothes and china - perfect for a date.

Cons: All received our apps at different times

I order for delivery a couple times a week from this place and never been disappointed. The cashew chicken is the best--nothing but white chicken meat, scallions and cashews. The egg rolls and dumplings are also worth a try. Service is great, delivery is fast and the food is reasonably priced and worth every penny. If you're on the upper east side--this place is a must.

All my years living in Manhattan and no other chinese place has beat Chef Ho's...they have the best chicken and broccoli ever!! Now that I've moved away I miss it terribly. They have very prompt delivery service and everything I tried was tasty! I only ate at the restaurant twice, it was a typical atmosphere but the service was very nice and the food was just as good. If you live on the upper-east side this is THE place to get your chinese!

Out-of-town restaurateurs, food critics on their own nickel and the occasional celebrity attend this quiet, unassuming and spotlessly clean bastion of food from China's cooler climates. The respected veteran chef Wing Loi Ho and his son,…
