Eden Palace

I contacted Eden Palace on July 28, 2009 about having a wedding there in August of 2010. To my surprise I was told that the minimum amount of people to hold an event there was 450.After ending the call I taught I was a little crazy or that I heard wrong so I called back to confirm that I did indeed heard 450, and was told again the same answer. The space is beautiful and their website shows smaller rooms its very puzzling why i was told that. I find it kinda weird especially since their website says they cater to events both large and small.

I made another wedding at Eden. Excellent service and the food was outstanding. Jack, who handles it all is amazing! My only comment is their choice of Concierge handling families. Tried his best but needed somone who knew the ropes.

I just made my daughter's wedding at Eden Palace after looking at many places. It was a pleasure dealing with the thoroughly professional and experienced owners and staff, with super service before, during and after the wedding. Barry and Antonio ran a beautiful operation and event. The place was immaculate. I had guests flying in from the various places in the and USA and Canada and am still receiving compliments on the wedding.

The neighborhood is commercial but by clever construction and the obligatory valet parking Eden Palace has created its own space so that the guests are immediately in an elegant environment.

I know this is not a blog but it is obvious that 'Carla L.' below is somewhere between mentally ill and an anti-Semitic bigot, as the Eden Palace is well known for their Jewish events. The reference to black people and the fact that 'she' has only one review and is listed as residing in Jamaica, NY, hotbed of Jew haters tells us what we need to know. I don't care if black people use Eden Palace or not but if they don't because of that stupid lying nasty review it would be their loss. Carla - there is a God and you ain't on His good side after that one.

Eden Palace is known as one of the premier wedding halls in brooklyn. The hall is beautiful and classy. you'll be very pleased with the choice. The service is also very good.I feel I was caterd to from the moment I came in to look into making my wedding till saying goodnight to the clean up crew. after me and my beloved have promised our love for eternity.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROS: really caring and always there covering all the details
CONS: I'm too much in heaven as far as i'm cocerned everything was perfect.

I recently went to Eden Palace and I could not believe what I saw. The chapel was filthy. There was cat urine and feces on the stage. The beautiful flowers were dried and withered, absent were the flowers, left were only vines. The material was dirty and stained. The chapel floor had a layer of dust on it so thick you could write your name on it. There was no management to speak with only the people setting up. They had a function the night before by 11am the bathrooms had not been cleaned and the next function was at 1pm. Things that were promised to the bride were not in place. There was dust on tables that were in corners and on the podium for the guest book, which had to be covered with a table cloth. The floor in the dining hall was sticky and stained with what ever. This was the way they were leaving it for the function. The carpet in the middle of the chapel was stained and dirty. Even the musician complained that he had played in many venues before but this was the worst he had ever seen. Granted the entry way was nice but I don't recall seeing any grand piano. The over all condition of the place was dirty. What type of management could rent out a place in that condition. They could not care for their customers. Black people do not let them sell you anything. Spend your money in the right places.

CONS: Everything

Eden Palace is a Beautiful classy catering wedding hall. This is the hall for your dream wedding. I've been there for a few weddings and have been impressed every time. The food is great and the surroundings elegant. The cost is a little higher than other halls in the same area but the price is worth it. This is the hall for a wedding everyone will remember.
