Disastrous Plumbing Situaton 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I completed major renovation of an upper-east-side co-op. My general contractor chose the subs, as is customary. In this situation, the plumber was Sanitary Plumbing & Heating. It has been nothing short of a disaster. We have had major leaks into the apartment below, which has cost me money and made me look terrible to my neighbors in the building. To add insult to injury, Sanitary is SUING ME for over $2,000 because they claim my contractor failed to pay them in full. Fortunately for me, they are so incompetent they failed to get a mechanics lien on the property.

I would just pay it to avoid the hassle of going to court, but I am so incensed by their behavior that i am going to leave work early to defend myself. To sum up: Terrible plumbing, completely unethical and outrageous chutzpah. I guess the only good thing I can say is that they showed up.

Quick, Reliable, Reasonable! 5 Star Rating - World class

I was recently referred to Sanitary Plumbing by a friend when I needed a plumber to help with installing my new kitchen. I recently went to Home Depot and bought a whole new kitchen. I have friends who are contractors, so they gutted the existing kitchen and put all the new stuff in. However, when it came to redoing the pipes and all that, that wasn't there expertise, so I called Sanitary. They were extremely helpful. They showed up when they said they would, none of that I will be there on Thursday between 9am-5pm. The ygave me a day and a time, and were there. They explained everything to me step by step, which I appreciated because I am not the most knowledgeable person in the world when it comes to plumbing. They did their thing, cleaned up after themselves which in the past I have heard has been a problem for some other companies and they didnt break the bank. If you are looking for an honest, reputable company, call Sanitary, they won't screw you!
