5 Stars: Has everything (by Archie R.)

This is one of my favorite stores to visit when I go to New York City. It is jam packed, literally, with so many games. There are role-playing games (pencil and paper and more modern), strategy games, and battle simulation games. If you're local to the area, they have tournament room where you can play games with others. We always find something new and interesting to pick up when we shop there.

2 Stars: dingy weird hole in the wall (by anna w.)

nothing says "i will play dungeons and dragons at any cost" like visiting this store - it's dirty, musty, poorly lit, and completely unfriendly to all but the most hardened gamers. certainly when i've been there, it seemed that i was the only girl that had ever set foot in the place. i would seek out almost any other venue (for instance, "forbidden planet" is right downtown) for my DnD needs.

PROS: none
CONS: dirty, unpleasant

5 Stars: Best Role Playing Place (by Renae E.)

A claustrophobic little store that has everything you could possibly imagine for role playing, including some items that have been out of print for up to 10 years. These guys have been around forever, probably will be, because they are the best. The only thing they could use is more space.

4 Stars: Role Play gaming (by Phyllis S.)

Ths is the place to be if you have any interest in Dungeons and Dragons, war games, Magic cards or other games. You will receive expert advice from a staff that lives and breathes the games.

PROS: tremendous selection and knowledge
CONS: not that friendly to beginners
