It's a small park, but a nice treat for the preschool crowd. There aren't many rides for older children.

Ticket prices are reasonable, BUT if you have a child under the height requirement and an adult is required to ride along, the adult needs to pay to ride too.

I remember my parents taking me to Nellie Bly as a kid & now I'm taking my daughter. It's been around for years & always a fun place! It's perfect for my daughter who is only 2 1/2 and she can enjoy most of the rides. It's inexpensive & close to home. They are still working on some renovations, but it didn't put a damper on the 2 trips we made there this summer. Looking forward to our next "Adventure!"

All kids love amusement parks and rides, and Nellie Bly located on Shore Parkway, off of the Belt Parkway is a great place for kids. They have many rides suitable for children of various ages, from small tots to older kids. It occupies a large outdoor area, with room for kids to run around, with safe fun rides for them to go on, and there is adequate adjacent parking..

They feature a good assortment of rides, a food court, tables to eat at, and a shop to purchase souvenirs for the kids. The rides are age appropriate, and not all rides allow all ages on them. The park is a wonderful place for a school trip or a birthday party, or other type of group activity. Kids love to go there and have a great time.

PROS: A great amusement park for kids
CONS: None.

Not much to do unless you are under 6. Itr always seems like the rides for those who are older are constantly closed. The last few times I went the giant slide and the roller coaster (very simple one) were closed. However, It is a good place to take a 1st grader for 2 hours.

PROS: Nice for kids
CONS: horrible for anyone else

I have visited the Nelly Bly amusement park on a number of occasions over the last few years. They really cater to little kids, though they do have some big kid rides as well. The staff is attentive and courteous, and their prices are reasonable. There is no parking at the park, though parking is usually plentiful on the street outside. They also have an assortment of carnival games, making this a fun afternoon for the whole family.

This is a good place to take the kids if you have a couple of hours to kill. It isn't really big so there isn't that many rides to go on. A large sheet of tickets costs $30, and since each ride takes 2 or 3 tickets, if you have more than one kid it will be gone in about an hour. Sometimes they have pay one price tickets but they are only good for a couple of hours too. A couple of hours is all you need, and hopefully your kids will be happy with that and you can drag them out of there. The rides are old looking but fun. It's been around a long time.
