Transformations Hair Studio

I just had a massage last week at Transformations with Shannon, and I can't stop raving about how wonderful it was! She's the best in town, if you ask me (and I've had a lot of massages). I was surprised at how inexpensive the massage was ($75 for 60-minutes), considering the other review. I got a "Swedish Massage", and she included incredible face, scalp, & neck massage in with the rest of a traditional, full head-to-toe massage experience -- I was so delightfully surprised to see how good that feels! Most places don't bother. (Again, most places only give you 50-minutes but charge you for a full hour). But anyway, the salon space is really nice -- very much like an "urban loft", but still welcoming & warm -- and the room where they do massage is really nice -- very calming, soft lighting, but still roomy enough to not feel like you're in a crypt with someone! (when I had a massage at StressOut, the room felt claustrophobic at best). I think the best thing about the experience was the time with Shannon, though -- she's very "real" (i.e. not some weird-o new-agey hippie), she listened to my needs really well, and provided some good tips for stretching at home so I can stay pain-free longer (no "hard sell" of "I'll need to see you 3 times a week for the next 6 months B.S.). I'll definitely be going back -- but because I feel great!

this is an outdated review, have you checked out there new location? There salon has much more space to accomodate the newest and trendy styles,as well as treatment rooms for all your relaxation needs.its worth booking an appointment and experiencing for yourself.

For a basic trim, something that can't really be botched by anyone short of Edward Scissorhands, feel free to go to Transformations. Anything more complex should be taken elsewhere, particularly if you have fine hair that is easily damaged, or long hair that you would like to keep in good condition.
