As a kid I remember coming to this place and enjoying it. But my last visit was more than disappointing. While the staff was very nice, the food was sub par. Most of it seemed as though it had been frozen and defrosted. Not fresh at all. The veggies clearly came from a bag. I expect more from a restaurant.

Last night we stopped by Greek Village and placed a take out order. 11/18/06 at 6 pm. The teenager who took my order told me to pay upfront & then took a phone call in the middle of giving me my change so I had to just stand there. Finally someone else walked by and I got my change - after asking for it.
I came back to pick up my order and they had no record of it. I was kept waiting for a long time and finally was given food that was just sitting there on the counter. Of course the gyros were soggy, they were also sort of skimpy and unseasoned.
Other customers also had the wrong items.
No one not the counter girls or the manager actually said they were sorry.
At $22.50 for 2 chicken gyros and 1 small Greek salad I think they could step up the customer service and product.
