All of this is true. I went in here one day to buy an item. I was not sure if it was what I wanted so i opened the box (which was not a sealer carton) and looked at it and read the directions. I spent some time reading it then repacked it and decided to buy it. As I walked to the checkout line a girl who was an employee called to me ""I can take you over here sir"". So I to started follow her over to her counter which happened to be the counter for returns when I hear this ""fat head "" at the front of the store facing the mall shouting to me "" Sir, are you returning that?"" I said ""how can I return something Im trying to buy"". Then I realized their ""paranoids"" in their survellance called the ""fat head:"" in the front of the store and told him I was going to take an item in the store and ""pretend"" I had bought it and bring it to the return counter and try to get the store to give me money. I continued following the girl and she rang it up and I paid for it and left the store. I said to myself since this company thinks I am a thief , I will return it and buy the same item elsewhere and thats exactly what I did. Did this shyster outfit think I did not know that when a customer returns something that you get a ""tag"" as you come inot the store. Since they think I am a thief I shop elsewhere and I never went to this place again. Further I tell everyone about how I was treated. Nothing from this company ever comes into my home. I recently gave $350 to someone to get an item but told them if they buy it from these bums it has to go back. I would not buy a AA battery from these bums.

Went to look at cameras. What a mistake. Don't waste your time here, go to a REAL camera store where the sales clerks know what they're talking about and are willing to take the time to show you the camera. I waited 30 minutes to get waited on just to be told that there were no batteries available and the clerk couldn't "un hook" it from the shelf while I tried to look at it. Went downstairs to Ritz camera and was very happy with service & staff.

Don't waste your time here, go to a REAL camera store where the sales clerks know what they're talking about and are willing to take the time to show you the camera. I waited 30 minutes to get waited on just to be told that there were no batteries available and the clerk couldn't "un hook" it from the shelf while I tried to look at it. This past weekend I purchased a 52" Sony LCD from the Albany store. After finding one that was actually in stock, the sales person and geek squad person at the counter kept trying to get me to purchase an extended warranty and noise suppresion equipment. They told me that LCD TV's easily break as compared to a "regular TV" and that the noise suppression equipment would improve the performance of the picture. All of these are really untrue (I work in the industry). None the less, I avoided the additional purchases and told them I would be back to pick up the TV. I arrived later that afternoon and nobody was at the customer pickup counter. After 10 minutes I walked over to a cashier who would only tell me that I should continue to wait at the customer pickup counter. I eventually connected with the on shift manager and commented on the high pressure sales tactics and the lack of customer service. His only response was that the items they were trying to sell me were a "critical need" for the purchase. When I told him that I worked in the industry and know this not to be true he replied that "it is open to interpretation". Got the TV loaded and the person who loaded it indicated he needed to annotate on the receipt that I picked it up. When I got home, I noted that he wrote on the receipt, "laid TV down flat". I called the customer service number and the person explained the issue of laying the TV down flat but also stated it didn't void the warranty. My issue was that the person never said anything about laying it down flat...just wrote it down on the receipt. Between that and the push for extended warranty, etc. I asked that the store manager contact me. Was advised that would be on Monday. This morning I spent all morning trying to call the store and nobody answers the phone. I tried repeatedly for an hour....no answer. When this store first opened it was great. Don't know what happened but the service can be compared to that of COMPUSA before they folded. Terrible service. I love the TV but won't be back here again.

I went to Best Buy to purchase an expensive HD TV with various trimmings. The salesman was very short with me and was constantly interrupted by his headset intercom. I bought the home installation package by Geek Squad.
Nobody came at the appointed time. # times I was told the installer would call. He never called. Finally they told me he did not have me on his list and would not be coming. They rescheduled me for a week later. When I had a fit and told them I'd taken the day off and completely torn down my old equipment, they said they could come in 4 days. The phone number on my invoice for store contact rings without ever being answered. The phone directory at Best Buy does not give one the opportunity to speak to a manager. This is gross incompetence. Beware!!!

This store has every thing that you need. They have every DVD and CD and game you need. They have computers, washers, dryers, fridges, tv's, and every gaming system they make. They have every thing that a house needs. I have bought so much stuff from this store. They have such reason able prices.

This Best Buy store is absolutly terrific. They have everything from movies, to stereo systems that can be installed right there. The store is just huge, and they have any movie you can think of, as well as music. They have large appliances, right down to the smallest. And there are so many people working, that can help you find exactly what you're looking for in no time.
