Ideal Department Store

I love this store and i have since i was a kid. This store is always cleen and there is always friendly employees there to help you with your every need. They also have everything ranging from school uniforms to boyscouts to medical uniforms. This place is one of my favorite stores to shop and it has been for the past 20 years.

Ever since I was a kid I have been shopping at Ideal and now i shop for my kiids and its always had Friendly service, clean store overall great place to shop for uniforms:).

Ideals service is unmatched and there prices are great too because they offer the cheap stuff (french toast..) and the high quality stuff too. Ive been going there since i was a kid and the place hasn't changed a bit, there's always friendly sales reps to help you and the store is kept very nice and clean. The only thing i must recommend about this store is come early in the year and you will leave happy. Oh and by the way they now have a large hospital store rite next door to there flatbush location which is great because i am a nurse.

Ideal Uniforms is not the Ideal place to shop for anything. Being forced to go there after the uniforms were changed at my daughter's school I had absolutely no choice. First it was far from where I live but I felt that if the service was worth it then the miles wouldn't matter. When I first opened the door it seemed like lunch time at Grand Central Station.--let me explain. It was complete chaos!! Everyone that I asked for help pointed a finger at someone else that could help me. I finally made it to one of the counters where a young girl was talking on her cell phone. I asked her for help and she told me she was just hanging out with her friends. She did not even work there!!! I kept hearing overthere for when I asked for the socks, the sweats. No one was helpful. I kept feeling as if I was bothering them by being a customer that asked questions. It was my first time there and I really do miss the other place where we purchased the uniforms from previously-now that's a place that was clean, in order, friendly and just professional.

I just read the prior reviews from previous years and all I can say is what happened? Maybe it is just the Flatbush store. . . . .. ?

I am forced to go to Ideal for the uniforms required by the school, if not for that i would not shop there because of the bad service i have experienced with the phone and fax service.

As soon as you walk into the store you are greeted by extremely helpfull associates. No matter what I asked for they had it, a huge database of schools in brooklyn , bronx, and manhattan on every counter. They have everything that has to do with schools from caps & gowns, T-Shirts, U name it they have it!. Extremely clean, and organized. Great Place overall!!

I have been going to Ideal for uniforms since I was a kid in school and that's a long time! They have any kind of uniform that you can imagine. I have gotten school uniforms for my daughter and cub scout uniforms for my son. They have a lot of sizes available. If they don't have something in stock, they will happily order it for you. We had to order a cub scout shirt for my son because they didn't have his size, and we got a call to pick it up within a week. They are very helpful and will make sure you buy all the accessories you need. They had all the cub scout patches that he needed also, as well as the scouting books. They have uniforms for almost every school. They also have some regular clothing, as well as uniforms for nurses and any other occupation that requires uniforms.

From the time you walk in the store, you can get help from an associate, the floors are clean and you can find uniforms for all school. Prices too high
