Using Manor for my last move was a rare experience. Not only for the moving industry, but for the service industry in general. Especially now days where a genuinely good service is very hard to find. Manor takes moving to another level and creates a league of its own in the moving industry, where anyone with a truck thinks he can call himself a moving company. Dealing with Manor moving was a pleasure and a seamless experience from the very initial step of scheduling the move, to the very end of it. From the very first phone call you realize you are dealing with professionals, which makes the moving experience almost stress-free. The day of the move was phenomenal. Not only were the movers on time, but they were early. Still they called me before coming up to my apartment to confirm it was OK. The movers were professional, courteous, patient and very efficient. They took care of everything (and I mean everything: they did not even let me cover the mattress spring box with the bed skirt, but insisted on doing it themselves). They were very careful in carrying the big furniture to make sure they don't damage the walls or the furniture. They did not drag any furniture or boxes on the floor but gently placed them where i told them to. They were extremely patient and were happy to try various furniture arrangements until I was sure i got the right layout. They did not leave until they made sure i was happy with where everything was (boxes and furniture). I have never written a review before since it always seemed too time consuming and useless. However, after experiencing the difference with Manor, I just had to share it with NYC, where people are on the move all the time. Manor is not just about the the move. it's about the solution....

Manor Moving was wonderful in helping my move be as painless as possible. David, the sales rep was great in planning my move. Im sure I wasnt the nicest customer, but he was very professional and made it less stressful. Moving can be frustrating, but Manor moving tried to make it was quick as possible. The movers were nice and fast. They were in and out. I would definitely recommend them to anybody moving in NYC!

My husband and I did a move with Manor Moving and Storage. We were incredibly impressed with how fast they worked and how efficient the whole move went. They showed up right on time and were very courteous.
The sales person I was working with gave us a very fair quote and was very friendly and followed up with us to see how the move went. We might need storage in the near future and will certainly be calling them again.

I was extremely impressed with the level of service that I'd received from Manor Moving. I had never used them before and was a little nervous, and now that I have used them I will never use another moving company.
The sales representative I spoke with David was very nice and made my first impression a very comfortable one. The movers were terrific.

I will be recommending Manor Moving to anyone I know who needs to move and will be using them again in the future.

Thes guys do it all. I have never seen guys move as quick as they do and efficeintly as they do either!!!

And I can not forget about the sales people they have either..I was clueless and they guided me along the whole way. I was so stressed out but they helped relieve that stress very quickly.

Since moving to NYC a week ago, everyone I have dealt with during my apartment search has been out to get me. Manor Moving and Storage was the only thing keeping me sane as they are not only friendly and welcoming, but accommodating to last minute changes that I couldn't control. They even let me store my things with only a 30 minute advance notice. Thanks guy! You rule! I will definitely use you again when I move out!

Manor Moving and Storage did an excellent job on my move. $125/hour for four guys who worked the entire time. They offered 12 free boxes (including 2 handy wardrobe boxes), did a great job wrapping/packing, and accomplished some very fancy maneuvering to get a giant armoire down 4 narrow flights of stairs. The men were friendly, fast, and strong. They handled all my items with care and were spot-on with their estimate. I would gladly use this company again and recommend them highly.

I did a lot of online research into well-rated Manhattan moving companies and called a number of movers for quotes. Manor gave me the best hourly rate, and I decided to go with them. The three movers were on time, very professional, and very helpful. They completed my 9-block move to a new studio in in 3.5 hours, and everything arrived here in fine condition. The fee at the end of the move was as agreed upon, although there were a couple additional $10 charges for shrink-wrap for the couch and a bag for the chair.

Overall, Manor made moving day manageable. Five stars, and I would definitely recommend them.

When your looking for a mover its not easy. It is extremely stressful. I have experienced too many bad situations in the past...NOT with MANOR MOVING AND STORAGE!!!!!

These guys were the BEST!!!

If you want great customer service, if you want a company who takes the concerns of their customers serious, and if you want guys who are very quick and efficient, then I definitely recommend this wonderful company!!!

I used Manor Moving for both moving and storage. This seems like a very well-run company worthy of your consideration. Whoever is running it deserves kudos.

If cost is your only concern, you might shy away from Manor Moving. But I'd say it's fairly-priced and you will get what you pay for. The company provided great customer service by working with me and doing what they promised they would do. I mostly talked to David, who was always courteous and helpful in answering questions, calling me back, etc. Also, there were no hidden charges or "surprises," The guys that moved my stuff were pleasant and were careful not to damage anything.

If you are moving, definitely consider them. I keep a handful of companies on hand and this one will stay on that short list. One more thing. After my move was complete Manor Moving asked me to leave feedback on Citysearch. I never write reviews, but in this case I did because they earned it.

I picked manor moving for my move and storage b/c of all the great reviews on line. i wasn't disappointed. I was able to handle everything via email except calling to provide my cc# for the deposit. the movers were very quick and courteous.
I stored my apartment for 2 months while doing a renovation and I didn't even have to call to ensure that they would refund my security deposit!

The guys showed up right around when they said they would, and were quick, friendly, and efficient. The prices are very reasonable as well. Labor was not terribly expensive and storage costs were competitive. This is my second move with Manor, and will likely not be my last.

Update: they just moved me into my new place. Again, can't say a bad word. They contacted me when they said they would and were efficient and polite. Very professional outfit.

Can't tell you enough on how Zvi and Manor moving made our move so easy. Zvi, the owner, not only makes sure he got involved but checks in with you durning the move to make sure everything is going alright. They came early, got moving with wraping all our furniture made sure all the things we packed were in good order. Packed things we thought we had to "walk over" to our new place. The crew was very profesonial and easy to talk to. They even went out of their way to make sure they did not get a parking ticket (were we moved to is surrounded by bus stops)
Can't speak more highly of them. And best of all they beat the estimated price we were given.

Before using Manor, I had terrible experiences at Manhattan Mini Storage and another company (forget the name, independent one in Long Island City) both in moving and storage. Manor completely disabuses you of the notion that all moving companies are sharks and that you're certain to get your stuff out of storage wrecked. Their hourly rate for movers is more than competitive and their service is first rate (to move out I called close to COB wednesday and my stuff arrived on my doorstep by noon the next day!).

The poster below mentions that Zvi the owner checks up to make sure things are going or has gone well. That is absolutely correct. I just moved down to D.C., so presumably am no longer a prospective customer. But I still got a call. That was much appreciated.

Picked this Vendor up from City Search -after looking at several decided to give Manor a try-The owner came up to our office and was very professional with all aspects of the project -the move out and the storage. We contracted with Zvi (the owner) and were kept up to date with followup by his staff. The move went very well all items warped and covered to protect them . We didn't have to touch anything they were quite able to handle everything including our Large flat screen TV and Electronics. We recently Had them move some items from storage to a show environment at a Manhattan Hotel -The delivery and Pick up , after several days went smoothly. I would recommend Manor to any one who is looking for quality, a fair price and professional service. Very hard to find these days!

David Sklar is an exceptional sales representative and was very quick to reply to my emails and phone calls. We had some last minute changes and he was very patient, helpful, and understanding. The shipment arrived sooner than expected and even though there are still some boxes left unopened everything looks okay. As with any moving company, the one thing I'd caution someone about is shipping fragile things, e.g. art. We packed it ourself b/c we have experience with art handling, but shipments are sent freight, so you never know how things get handled. Manor, however, was very careful with our fragile items and the boxes arrived intact. If you're comparing Manor to FlatRate...go with Manor! FlatRate ruined a very important piece of our furniture a few years ago.

David Sklar was great on follow-up, professional and reasonable. The moving team was smart, no-nonsense, efficient, strategic and friendly.

Previously, we've had to deal with movers who despite our clearly communicated needs, arrived ill-equipped and acting ignorant of our situation then they attempted to bully us for more money. Manor Moving will not do that to you.

This was my first office move and they really took a lot of the worry out of it for me. Our CEO was impressed with their work ethic as well.

I recently moved using Manor Moving back and June and was very happy with the results. Although the move was only a few blocks in Manhattan, they were able to accomodate my every need.

I called Manor 7 days before the move to establish a move time and they were able to set it up that day and send me a copy of the contract. When the crew arrived the day of the move they were not only very eager to get the job done but they were profession and very fast. They were able to pack the items I had not yet packed and move them to my new apartment all within three hours. I was surprised with how quickly they moved and how careful they were at the same time.

I am happy to have used Manor Moving and would recommend them to any one looking to move.

Manor moving made our moving day easy/stress free. David gave me a pretty accurate quote over the phone, followed up and confirmed and was very nice. Garcia was the lead for our crew. He was amazing. Showed up early, kept the rest of the guys moving at a very fast and effective pace. No grumbling about stairs, which has been the norm. Fantastic!

Good company, the business ran by the owner himslef, who actually cares about long-lasting relationship with clients as well as the guys who work for him (happy guys = your furniture will be safe) - a rarity for the murkey moving industries. Horror stories that I read later (www.movingscam) made me especially glad I went with Manor. I checked it all - clean record (USDOT, MC), insurance, and the work that the guys did superseeded my expectations. My uber expensive and heavy furniture was so carefully packed, you'd think my mom did it.

They moved our small non-profit organization from one office to another and were very helpful in setup, preparation, and moving. We had a very good experience with Manor Moving, and recommend them with confidence. We moved this past weekend, and it was a much more involved move than I'd realized. I thought that, in an effort to jack up the price, the person who quoted us their fees was dramatizing the amount of work required for our move. I was wrong; it was a LOT of work! The movers were respectful and courteous, and worked long and hard. We will be using them again in the future.

Considering that I called less than 24 hours before my moving day, they were very accommodating. They gave me a realistic and accurate estimate of what I had to pay (with no extra hidden charges). There was a fire in my apartment and I had to salvage what I could, they were very helpful in packing my things. I didn't have to worry about anything.

I had a crazy year and had to move twice, and used Manor both times. I dealt with different sales reps (Jonathan and David) and had different teams of movers both times, but every single Manor employee I encountered was conscientious, friendly, efficient, and professional. Moving (especially in New York!) can be so overwhelming and stressful, and it seems like the Manor team really sees guiding and reassuring you through the process as part of their work. Plus, they are just amazingly strong and hard-working, but also careful with your things. On my second move, they came in 2 hours under estimate -- but it never seemed they were rushing... just kept working, working, working until it was done.

I would never use another company. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but when I do I will definitely be calling Manor again.

The guys at Manor Moving are terrific. I've moved with them twice and will only use them. After having used other moving companies in NY, there is an obvious difference between them and other moving companies.
We are very happy with their fabulous level of service and they are always on top of their game.
They moved all of mine and my husbands belongings including heavy furniture and my childs bedroom. They even wrapped and packed all of our fragile items. I have some stuff in their storage for the winter as well. Thank you guys. You are just the best!!!!

Manor Moving not only does personal moves, but commercial moves too. Our company had to relocate many servers from one data center in NYC to another in NJ. The movers arrived promptly at our scheduled time of 6 PM, even in rush hour manhattan traffic. Our servers were packed very well and moved promptly according to the schedule we created prior to the move. Most importantly, not a single server was damaged during the move. They all came back online flawlessly as if nothing had happened. The guys were all very friendly and awesome to work with. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect move. Thank you guys so much!

I moved my business in Manhattan to a new location. I had many valuables that were very high priced including paintings, sculptures and numerous pieces of art that were irreplaceable. I had heard about Manor Moving and decided to call them to get an estimate. I was greeted by a very courteous sales representative, who reassured me of Manors excellent level of service, as I was very nervous with all of the expensive items I had to move. Every piece was moved without even a scratch on it. The movers knew exactly how to wrap and pack each item. They were the greatest bunch of guys, and turned what could have been a very stressful experience, into one of the best moving experiences. I will unquestionably be using them again for any future moves, and will highly recommend them.

Manor recently moved my furniture & belongings from Brooklyn to a storage unit in Philadelphia. There were three men, led by Segundo, at the start, and two came to Philadelphia. They were the most courteous, prepared, and careful movers I have ever worked with. I really feel that they went way beyond what was required to do a good job. Even the local movers who brought it all out of storage last week commented on how well everything was wrapped.

We had a short move from a downtown apartment to midtown east. Mostly boxes, plus a bed and a large desk. We chose Manor because they were recommended by a friend, and were also the least expensive we found. These guy were fast, courteous, and did everything humanly possible to protect our stuff. We were shocked that the move was completed so quickly. We had VERY minor damage to our bed, and when I pointed it out to them, they offered to pay the entire expense of the repair, well beyond what we were insured for. The damage was so minor, and really beyond their control, so that I decided to not even pursue it. If we have to move again, we will be using Manor. Highly recommended.

The guys at Manor are professional. Prices are reasonable. They showed up on time and worked straight through in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you have your stuff ready to go and prepared so that the moving company isn't caught off guard or surprised then you'll avoid any surprises when you get the bill. Definitely recommend.

I used Manor Moving this past weekend to move my stuff within Brooklyn. I didn't have much to move nor was it super fancy expensive stuff, but they treated it like it was. All furniture was wrapped and treated with care and everything got to my new home in one piece. Besides being professional they were also very speedy, they probably set a record time. ha! The movers and management were all courteous. I would definitely recommend using Manor Moving, they were fantastic!

My girlfriend was moving into Brooklyn from the Upper West Side and we had to do it last min, we called Manor, spoke with Jon. He was easy to deal with, explained how the day would transpire, gave me a through estimate, and explained payment options, made it very easy for us. The guys showed up on time, Mario, the supervisor, was friendly and informative, and the crew were friendly and respectful. The did an outstanding job wrapping and caring for my g-friends items, no drama or surprises, which in the world of moving is a shock. The estimate was right on, cost were what Jon said I should expect, they were great with my building, no problems...next move it will be with Manor.....

From the very first contact with Manor, I was impressed by their helpfulness, honesty and great customer service. Patiently, they talked me through my move, about what I needed, what my concerns were and reassured me that it would go smoothly...and it did. The movers were extremely competent, quite efficient and did it all with good spirit. I knew that I could trust them with my things; while my belongings may not be super super valuable, they are mine - they arrived at my new place in the very exact condition that they were in before being moved. My sales rep was through and very informative, and the guys who showed up were on time, were polite, and did a great job. Moving is very difficult and can be crazy in NYC, these guys did a great job, the price was right and I would definitly reccommend them to everyone.
