why is it when members don't want to pay there bills according to there signed contract they are the first to blame the club. the members that pay on time never have an issue and always enjoy the club and the staff. for those of you dead beats in collections, your right where you deserve to be.this is not a bargain basement gym,go to other gyms ,pay less, get less, and stand in line waiting for equipment.remember you always get what you pay for. leave the OLYMPIA to the good people of buffalo.

I also gave notice and stopped my membership. Yet I was continually billed, even after multiple communications. The manager told us he would "take care of it" and then sent the account to collections. I am currently considering legal action, and it would help if I could get into contact with Wendy G. Any Ideas? This doesn't seem like an isolated incident. In reply to the post by Sal (The manager who gave a five-star review to his own business): any one else see the multiple grammatical errors? I paid in ADVANCE for my membership, then canceled on the appropriate day. I actually liked the club's patron's and staff, until I was billed after I had left the state. Then Sal offered to "settle" for hundreds of dollars. RIDICULOUS!

Sure, the gym is nice enough & has the desired equipment, however , should you need to speak to a human being about your account or have an issues with unauthorized charges, you will find yourself discouraged and upset with the lack of service.Months after having moved, they continued to bill me for services not rendered although notice was given & membership dropped.Very sad.

This is a great gym--- It is a bit smaller than some others in the city. I like it because they offer hour courses for a variety of different activities. The workout center is good- I have not had to wait for the equipment. It is very clean. The have a great staff to show you the correct way to operate some of the equipment and to answer any questions you may have. They also have trainers for a fee. It is a bit pricey but so are most gyms. I would recommend!

Olympia Health Club in located in the Olympic Towers, Downtown Buffalo. The location is conveniently located 2 blocks from my office. This makes it easy for a quick lunch hour workout. The size health club itself is small but offers a variety of workout options. They offer free 1 hour courses in kickboxing and etc. Also included in the facility is an indoor swimming pool, a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, weight rooms and a health bar. Membership prices are slightly higher than average, targeting downtown businesses.
PROS: Indoor (heated) swimming pool for the cold winters
CONS: Higher than average membership prices
