I love this school and would reccomend it to anyone. I was with the Wonder Years for about 3 years and both of my children loved it there. The staff became almost like family and everyone is very nice. It's very clean and well run. I have never experienced anything other than caring and love from everyone that worked there.

Cons: None at all

I want to start off by saying that the Wonder Years is a great daycare. My child, who is 3 years old has been here for 1 year and loves it. My child talks about the teachers all the time. They are very caring and friendly. They take very good care of the children, and treat them as if they were their own. Also, all of the rooms are spotless and neat. The ownwer is wonderful. She knows all of the children's names and is always available to address any questions and/or conserns parents may have. I highly reccomend The Wonder Years.
Next, I want to address the previous post made by AmsndaSI. Please don't feel like I am attacking you, but you made some serious accusations about 2 wonderful teachers, Kathy and Randi. I am an educator, and I can tell you that it is appropriate for ANY teacher to remove a child from the classroom if they are aggressive and/or missbehaving. There are certain rules children should follow in school, and at 2, children should follow rules. Sometimes, we as parents do not like it when others discipline our children, but some behaviors that might be appropriate at home, are not appropriate at achool. Honestly ,I don't want my child to be around children who are aggressive towards them and possesive of things. Would YOU? Kathy and Randi did NOTHING wrong. And, you talk about your child coming home with scratches and bruises? Come on, you are saying that your child never gets bruised?????? Your child never falls and gets bruises??????? Also, the scratches? Didn't a parent see exacly what happened and offered to talk to you and you did not? What does that say? Please think about your actions before you accuse people and mess with their carreers.

My daughter has been in the wonder years for two years. I can't begin to tell you how much I love this school. When I was searching for a place for my daughter to attend, I visited many nursery/ pre-schools. A close friend recommened the Wonder Years and it was the BEST decision I made. Since the first day my daughter started ,she loved it. The teachers and staff are warm and loving.
My daughter has developed a love for reading that is amazing at the age of three. She knows so much information and sings so many songs that it is evident that the education given to these small children is priceless. As an educator myself I am so excited to see the love of learning start at such a young age.
The love and care the teachers and staff show for all their students is wonderful.
Last year my daughter was in the hospital for a short time. Not only did the school send her cards and well wishes.... her teachers came to visit her. My daughter still talks about how her teachers came to see her at the "BIG" doctors.
I would recommend this school to anyone. I travel from the south shore everyday to have my daughter attend the wonder years. I am sad she only has one year left. Can't wait to send my next child there!!!!!!!!!

I have been a parent of the Wonder Years for the past 6 years and connected with the school for the past 11, as my niece and nephew were students there also (along with their cousins that are in their teens). My 7 year old son graduated from there 2 years ago and my 4 year old daughter is there currently. I know many parents that have used the school and I have happily referred people to the school. As an educator myself (along with many other parents at the Wonder Years) I have ALWAYS been thrilled with the progress the students I have known, have made at this establishment-( by the way, many end up in honor programs in elementary school).
The staff there is WONDERFUL . The administrator knows each and every child that walks through her doors and even many of their siblings before they become students of hers. My son recalls ALL his favorite teachers to his sister on a daily basis( too many wonderful women and girls to mention-including some that other posters felt the need to mention by name, by the way, TWO of his FAVORITES- also my nephews.) As far as I know, my family, my sister's family, friends and collegues have all been happy with EACH and EVERY person that our children have been involved with at the school. We are always welcomed with BIG hugs from the prior teachers.
I still reccommnend the Wonder Years and will continue to do so, just as the many people that HIGHLY recommnended it to OTHER posters.

Pros: exceptional education and care

Cons: it only goes to PRE-K

This place is great, but unfortunately the next post made up a story to put down Wonder Years, it's false 100%.

My son loves it there and I happened to be the only person in the room besides the teachers when it happened. I will not talk about the complainants child, but I will tell you nobody in the room, school, or zip-code touched this child, I assure you. I was willing to talk to the parents then, but they never showed back up and I will testify on behalf of Wonder Years if it would have come to it. This is false and I believe the child's parents were aware of something. I will not talk about their child, but what I saw was definitely not a first timer.

Amanda I cannot believe how many people have posted on-line about how their children have been abused at Wonder Years. This is criminal. Please contact ACS..they need to know this abuse continues there. Please contact me, I would like to speak to you and give you more info. Here is my e-mail address
Psychewave@aol
My child was also abused by this school and it has changed him forever.
ACS was notified and WONDER YEARS WAS FOUND GUILTY of abusing my child.
Parents who have children in this school PLEASE SPEAK to your children, question them and look for signs of abuse. Remember children are afraid to speak out, you must assure them they should never be abused no matter what and they will not get in trouble.
Actually parents, why not just sneak by without staff seeing you and listen to how they speak and treat the children in the play yard. Watch and listen, UNBELIEVABLE !

My daughter went to Wonder Years and absloutely loved it. She loved it so much that continues to go back each summer for the Summer Camp. The teachers, staff and Director are very helpful and dedicated to the school. I think that this is a great school and I highly recommend it to anyone who has young children.

This daycare was highly recommended by many people I know, at first it seemed to be a great choice but ended up being a BIG MISTAKE!
Yes, I had to admit the place is brand new and very appealing to the eye. The school owner and director is very friendly and dedicated to her school. But the care givers are just unreliable, incompetent and unworthy of any trust with your young child.
My child is very active and has a personality, what two years old baby doesn't??? Randy and Kathy, the mother-daughter team caregivers, placed my baby with the older kids in the school as a form of punishment to keep him quiet and to calm him down!!! They told me my child was being too agressive and was misbehaving during class. I just like to know what were they thinking??? what baby or toddler is not possessive with toys??? But this is not it, my child would COME BACK HOME WITH BRUISES, SCRATCHES and CUTS ALL OVER HIS FACE! When asked what had happen, both mother and daughter just covered each other's out! They would blame another child or tell me it was my own who did it to himself???!!! I should've realized the body signs my baby was giving me before this incidents happened, he would cry before entering the school or just stop in front of the door and walk back to the car. I should have known better! And I thought it was separation anxiety! I REGRET NOT REPORTING THE INCIDENTS TO THE CITY or ACS! but please BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO SEND YOUR BABY TO THIS PLACE! I know is new and big but it doesn't mean it offers good quality care.

Wonderful school with a great staff that loves kids. I had my son in a different daycare for a few months and he would come home everyday sad not wanting to go the next day, but that all changed once he when to the wonder year.
