KUNI'S TO GO- Now on Lexington Ave. off Elmwood. Call or fax your order in for the best sushi you can get ! Friendly service, incredible, healthy food choices, and look at the nice, Japanese products for sale while you wait.Very nice atmosphere. I always order, then go look at the jewelry next door @ Wild Things. It's so convenient !

Many people were upset when Kunis closed a while ago, but it is reopening on lexington st where the CO OP use to be. They have the best sushi around here with good prices. Much cheaper than getting the far inferior sushi made at Wegmans. It will now be take out only, but with the seating being so limited before it shouldn't make much of a difference.

PROS: good sushi for a decent price
CONS: take out only

Kuni's is a tiny sushi restaurant on Elmwood - it's easy to miss but you don't want to miss it! I have had sushi all over the place but Kuni's is really quality stuff and by far the best sushi in Buffalo. In the summer time they set up some tables outside so you can eat and gaze down Elmwood. It's a small restaurant but it can get very busy - I guess they do just fine on word of mouth advertising. Really, you're not going to be disappointed.
