This is actually one of the best Trift stores I have ever been too. I have been shopping there for only a year but I never left without finding me some bargain.
They have a wide selection of clothing for men, women, and children; large furniture and electronics section; also quite an impresive selection of household goods, not mentioning a great selection of books, videos (priced @$0.79, I dare anybody to find a better deal) and dvds.
Employees are very cordial and friendly, they go our of their way to gelp you.To sum it up : it is a place where you can find yourself a treasure, and certainly it is a great place to shop.

I really like this thrift store--the ladies and boys clothes selections are great--I've purchased great-looking pantsuits and gym clothes for myself and winter jackets and tops for my boy. Also, the t-shirt selection is quite good and, often, t-shirts are just $1.

There's a huge selection of clothing at the store and I like the fact that they have summer clothing on the racks year-round. (So, last December, I was able to buy tropical, short-sleeved shirts for my winter trip to Florida.)

The price tags are in different colors--pink, green, white, ... and every day, one color is half off--I've gotten some great deals via the tag sales.

Some items are a bit pricey; for instance, wedding gowns run $200 and higher; however, wedding shoes (and there's a large selection of barely worn white heels) are reasonably priced.

Pros: great clothes, great sales, huge selection

Cons: can be a little pricey

This is the worst salvation army I have seen. I hope you like paying $8-10 for washed out jeans from the 80s and 90s because thats all they have here. All the clothes are worn to a pulp and have holes or stains, basic shirts run $3-5 and when they have half price sales they raise the prices before hand so its not really a sale. You can get cheaper, brand new clothing at department stores if your willing to scour and buy off season, I know I have. Many times when I am shopping in normal stores I remark "hey this costs less than what it would cost at the SA".

If you are shopping for toys they NEVER have any, you might find a few toys scattered near the children's clothing but that is it (and trust me, its not gonna be in any condition that you will want to buy). Children's clothing is very sparse with only the smallest sizes in stock most of the time.

They do have electronics but its mainly stuff that no one wants and its broken or missing essential pieces such as power cords or power supplies and if your shopping for video games I have not seen even one so don't even bother.

If you want to buy something drive a few extra min to the store in north tonawanda, it will be worth your while.
