This Indian restaurants prepares elegant, authentic Indian dishes with a touch of an American taste. The service is impeccable. There is usually a long line if you go here for dinner, so I just come here for the lunch buffet. The prices are reasonable.

Well, Im a bit confused because I'm not sure if these other guys are talking about the same place? Anyhow, Mumtaz is a family fravorite for me!! Its a really nice experience expecially since the decor makes you feel cozy as if you were in a sultan's tent and the food is just exceptional! I have tried other Indian restaurants in the city but I have yet to find one that can top Mumtaz's food! The price is very reasonable and I usually find myself unable to finish, so they are definatly not stingy or pverpriced. Overall, I highly reccomend it and as for what to order, well my personal favorite is the Chicken tikka masala!

This place is so good. I cannot stop eating when I go there. I want to eat everything!...just amazingly tastey food. When I'm in the mood for eating spicy food, I order the famous Mumtaz style beef vindaloo. Also, their chicken tikka masala is out of this earth! If you go, make sure you go on an empty stomach because the food will fill you taste buds and your stomach, with room to spare on your wallet.

my girlfriend and I love this place. Great food, great service, great location and ambiance. The one downside is they don't serve naan, but the chipati is a good substitute. We recomend this place as a must at least once every two weeks.
