.

Our daughter spent 2 years at Beansprouts before heading to PS 39 for pre-k. She still goes to their after school program a couple of days a week.

We were extremely pleased with our preschool experience. Her teacher was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The aides in her classroom were wonderful and truly caring people. We often see them out and about and they are always happy to see our daughter and remember her well.

I also feel like my daughter learned so much in a very playful environment. She learned how to behave in a group and make new friends. They took trips around the neighborhood, cooked food, did tons of craft projects and often spent time "studying" nature, animals, holidays, etc. It was an incredibly positive experience for her, and us, as first time parents.

I do feel as though the directors have made certain choices when dealing with enrollment that have made it difficult for families to plan or adapt to changing circumstances, particularly when it comes to public pre-k vs. private pre-k. But, if you can manage that tricky spot when the time comes, the years your child spends at Beansprouts will be well worth it.
