St Marks Bookshop

It took me about fifteen minutes of standing around before I could find a staff that would help me out. I guess they had better things to do. I love reading books, so I asked them to help me find bestsellers, and that took another 10 mintues, but they found some interesting books and I enjoy reading them. Good Selection.

I love the warm environment in this bookshop. The books are arrganged very neatly along the bookshelves for easy looking. The staff know exactly where all the books are and how much they cost. There is always a top booksellers list that I can refer to in the shop so I know what I should buy.

You can spend as much time as you need searching and browsing in here - and the employees are a great help. It's not as big as other huge bookstores in the city, but it's pretty great for its size.

I love all bookstores but this is one of my favorites. I love the atmosphere of this place. There's no salesperson trying to rush you out the door - they don't seem to mind if you wander the aisles and just admire their large selection. I think you'd be hard pressed to look for a book that St.Marks doesn't have but if you do find one they don't have available, they will special order it for you. The staff is very friendly but they don't hover like they do in some stores making for a much more enjoyable experience.

I could spend hours wandering and looking through the shelves here. Book after book, it's just a great place. And if you need a gift for that hard to buy for person, you'll find it here!

if you're like me, you may feel like that one twilight episode where the guy only wants to read and then the world ends and he survives and can finally read everything he wants to forever, when you enter or even pass by this shop. they have so many titles just in the window display that i want to read that i have to hand it to them. they have sections for film theory, music history, etc. they're all new books going for retail but i think there's a sale tabe in the back
