Right in the heart of downtown Manhattan. It is close to Times Square but not too close. Rooms are clean and modern and most importantly quiet. They give you free high-speed internet access. Only downside is that they only have food from the restaurant downstairs from 6-10 pm.

This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting New York. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't have been more pleased. While the rooms are a little small (Who cares? You're in NYC! Get out of the room!!), they are undoubtedly stylish and modern. The complimentary Hermes bath products were a nice touch. The service from the staff (especially Kevin at the front desk) was fantastic. On top of all this, the hotel is just off of Times Square, so you're in the mix of everything without all the noise.
Pros: Style/Design, Location, Complimentary DVD/CD
Cons: Slightly small rooms, Few elec. outlets, N/A
This is a great spot. The hotel is a good mix of service, style, location and value. While the scene is nothing like some of their neighbors, the quiet escape of the lobby and rooms were perfect. The rooms are clubby and masculine, with features like upgraded beds and pillows, upscale furnishings, Hermes bath products, "hidden" TV in the mirror, free fast Internet connections, etc. I have found my NY hotel from now on.
Pros: rooms, value, style
Cons: , limited room service
We recently spent a weekend here and loved the hotel - very smart and classy. Our room was small and had no bathtub, but the bathroom in black marble was very nice and the room quite comfortable. Nice small touches like Hermes bath products and great down pillows. THe bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel was quiet. The staff is friendly and the room service is providedby DB Bistro, which is off he lobby. The price was right, too and I found it to be a good value overall
Pros: amenities, location, pillows
Cons: , room size
