I was not fond of the ambiance of this art gallery. The owners were not friendly & had a belligerent way of speaking to me. The cost of the small pic I framed was a lot for little work & only so so quality wont be going back.

This framing shop is not only over priced but messed up one of my pictures the bottom right hand corner of it noticed was torn up. I never got an apology from the owner when I spoke to him about it the following week sorry not a good framing pl to do business will try the other guy further down the street.

This is one of the worst art stores I have ever been to. The prices are vastly high for the materials he uses to frame pics. I couldn't stand the fact he was using pieces from cardboard boxes to put in the back of my picture. I try to explain certain things to him about my pic he kept answering been in the business way too long know what im doing please don't talk. The owner had a real attitude problem. Some residents recommended Daphne art further down the street will probably go to that place bye bye Montague art.

This is one of the most incompetent art galleries ever been too. I come through the door with a few pictures, young man behind the counter doesn't say hello how are you. He says something along the lines of is there something I can do for you. I was promised a certain price come back a week later to pick this up ended up paying a vast price for 3 little pics they charge more $ compared to some other places Ive frequented.

I had a job done there quite a while ago before I started going to Daphne and apparently my frames came out really bad. The guy wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for work that was lousy and gave attitude about it. The materials he uses are really fake they are just pieces from card board boxes not a real framing store.

I use to do business with this guy until he damages one of my pictures by using lousy materials and having an attitude problem. I brought a few pieces to be framed and was gravely disappointed. I found a piece of card board in back of my picture and for two frames he charged me a vast amount of money very expensive. I walk in the store and it takes him a while to acknowledge me and he wasn't busy. He thought I was just looking around common sense should tell you if a guy walks in your shop you say hello how are you? Can I get you anything smile while your at it apparently he doesn't do that bad business policy. I came before a young couple did and he chose to serve them first instead of me that really got me rudeness will never come back here.

This is one of the most intolerable framing store I have ever been to. The owner is not friendly and doesn't say hello when you walk in and if you want something you half to approach him, no atmosphere in here. It cost me an exorbitant

I always give a store two chances before I stop going to them. I went to get a picture framed and not only was it expensive but the material was atrocious, you don't put a piece of card board from a box in back of a pic and not put

I had a terrible experience with this place and suggest you try another framing shop if you care about the quality of the work.

I brought in a wedding photo, enlarged to 54" to be framed. Nothing fancy just wanted the print dry mounted

I have taken many pieces to Montague Arts to be framed. One was a difficult matting job with glass and mats on the front and back and it was handled perfectly. I just picked up 2 more pieces, with double mats, and the job was, again, done very professionally. I've never encountered an attitude problem or any rudeness. I know what I want, and try many combinations of frame and mats, until I am satisfied. But I've always gotten back high-quality work from Montague Arts, and will continue to use them. (He was willing to bargain a bit for the price of 2 expensive frames, give it a try).

Cons: expensive

The owner of Montague Arts Framing and Prints (138 Montague Street) is arrogant, condescending, and demeaning to women. His customer service skills are remedial and his prices are excessively high. If you need to buy a print or have something framed, I recommend Jubilee Gallery at 117 Henry Street or Daphne Art at 154 Montague Street. Both establishments have professional service and reasonable prices.

I dropped off a few pictures to get framed at this shop recently. We went over everything and it seems like they were in such a hurry to get everything done. the price was really over the top five hundred for both pictures. They also went out of their way to be rude and say this is our price too bad. A week later i went to pick up my pictures and noticed that they had cardboard in back of the frames, asked for quality framing the frames were also too weak they fell after a week. I would never do business with them again.
