Best Service  5 Star Rating - World class

I just recently relocated to New York from another country and have had only two regular hairstylists for the past 12 years. I am naturally apprehensive to have someone else cut my hair. But Tim Johnson did a wonderful, wonderful job with my hair and gave me a young, easy to maintain, classy and sexy cut. He listened to every single thing I wanted and worked with me for over an hour to produce the kind of hairstyle Ive been dreaming of. He is also very easy to talk to and very kind as were everyone in the salon from the receptionists to the coat check. Im very impressed and pleased with the salon and is well worth the price. I highly, highly recommend it!

Precision  4 Star Rating - Very good

Roy Teeluck is one of the best stylists in the city. Not only does he do excellent precision cuts, but his eye for the right style for each individual draws an exclusive clientelle that's hard to find anywhere. The salon has a friendly, hip vibe and the blowouts are ALWAYS sensational!

feel special 5 Star Rating - World class

i went to the Roy Teeluck salon after 3 failed hairtrial in other salons, i was getting so depressed about not finding someone that would make me look and feel good on my wedding day .
i was recomended to Antoine and had a trial with him , i was at ease straight away and we discussed all options , he listened very carefully to understand my vision and showed me few styles ,
we agreed on the direction to take , i was so glad and releived !
on my wedding day he was on time and so calming , gave me a fabulous natural hairstyle that felt truly like me !! i could not have asked for more

fantastic hair extensions and cut by andre! 5 Star Rating - World class

earlier this month i decided to take the plunge and get hair extensions. i've had a short bob for years, but was sick of seeing the same cut everywhere --- ended up growing it out to a mid-length bob and went to roy teeluck to get hair extensions. i'm so glad that i did! first, andre spend a good amount of time with me during the free consultation to figure out exactly what i wanted out of my hair extensions. i went back a few days later after he bought the real-hair extensions and he put them in. the process was pretty long (about 2 1/2 hours), but andre was a pleasure to chat with throughout the entire experience. he did a top-notch job putting them in. before getting the process done myself i'd heard how painful it can be. maybe i have a tough scalp, but i didn't think it was that bad. my scalp did hurt for 2 - 3 days after i got the extensions, but that's not due to the stylist --- it just takes a bit for your head to get used to them. andre cut the extensions before i left, but invited me to come back in a few days once i got used to the extensions for a complementary follow-up appointment. i'm so glad i did! after having the extensions for a few days, i had more direction as to what i wanted them to look like. andre cut and styled my head accordingly and made me into a bombshell! : ) i had a friend's wedding and class reunion that weekend and heard nothing but rave reviews for days. i LOVE my extensions and plan on keeping them in for awhile --- already looking forward to going into the salon next month to get them tightened (again, complementary). the extensions are expensive, but on par with any other salon that offers quality real-hair extensions. i think they were worth every penny. the salon was great, everyone was terribly nice, and andre is such a blessing! highly recommended.

Pros: friendly staff, high quality stylists, great service

Fantastic update to my bob 5 Star Rating - World class

I'll admit it. I like getting a nice haricut, but I tend to be a little conservative (due to job). I wanted to update my bob without looking silly (am over 40). Andre did a fantastic job. The sevice was very friendly, but not too gossipy. I literally went out that night and everyone gasped at how fabulous my hair looked. A stranger on the street even asked me where I got it done. Bravo Andre!!

JUST DO IT 5 Star Rating - World class

I went to Roy Teeluck for balayage highlights (hair painting technique that is foil-free) and a cut. When I came in, I was immediately greeted, shown to my chair and given a menu of free beverages (I went with iced coffee and water with lemon). The colorist (Abby) and her assistant greeted me and gave me a quick consultation followed by my quick cut consultation with my stylist (Dora). I told them what I wanted and within minutes Abby was working away on my highlights. The interesting thing about the balayage technique at Roy Teeluck is that they do it in sections to make it look more naturally sun-kissed. My blond highlights are AMAZING and I couldn't be happier. Five stars for Abby! I also got a free manicure because I was a first time customer, which was simple but good.

I then went over to Dora, who didn't talk much but did her thing. I trimmed up my bob but she suggested a slightly angled cut to add a slight edge and some texture and trimmed my bangs up in a different style. Great job. I walked out of that place not only feeling and looking great, but thinking that I had never in my life had such great customer service at a salon. Just go...you won't regret it!

Pros: Wide variety of services with experienced professionals
Cons: They're in New York and I live in San Francisco

Truly great 5 Star Rating - World class

This place really does live up to all of these glowing reviews. I don't normally like to spend that much on my hair. I was skeptical that a "quality salon" would seem worth it to me and thrifty mentality. But, this place is great ... friendly, accommodating, time efficient -- great customer service, and not pretentious. Abby made my highlights look so natural, and listened to all of my concerns. I never thought a certain cut would make that much of a difference with my curly, long, layered hair ... but it has never looked better. Dora was quick, confident , and truly did wonders. I am a complete convert. Not only will I return, but I have already recommended them to all of my friends.
