As someone who is very very particular about the way my hair is both cut and colored, it means a great deal when I say I have never been more pleased with the way my hair looks. I had my highlights done by Russ, who, besides being an exemplary colorist, is also lovely company! Not only was my color what I would consider to be the best shade of blonde for me, it could not have been more seemless and natural. If you want streaks, find another salon.
After having my hair washed and deep conditioned by Liza, who was also wonderful, my hair was cut and styled by Ali. He convinced me to try a new style that would better frame my face, and as he began blowdrying, I got giddy. The finished product was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't wait to show it off to my friends.
Besides being thrilled with my hair, the overall experience was delightful. I had my nails done while my highlights were setting too, so I left really feeling like a million bucks.
It goes without saying that Russ and Ali are my new hair team, and I encourage anyone to make an appointment with them!!

My most recent visit to Roy Teeluck Salon consisted of a relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cappuccino, and beautiful color! Abby, the colorist is the best! I go to her for highlights and a single process. The reason why I love her work so much is because she has a very unique style. She works with my natural texture and sees where my hair falls. She picks pieces up and hand paints the color on, the result is always so natural and beautiful! I get complimented on my hair all the time and I can go longer without retouching! Goodbye FOILS Hello BALAYAGE ,Abby treats each client as someone special. Her manners and decorum are of the utmost professionalism.I missed a haircut but i will try next time ,Abby will recomend you a stylist to while talking about color so im happy :)THanks a lot for making me beatifull blonde :)))))))

this is one of the best salons in the city - great service, super attentive staff and trained professionals. Russ Hovermale is the BEST and I would follow him to any salon - highly recommended! I have been to a ton of salons in the city over the years and Russ is by far the best I have found!

I went to the Roy Teeluck Salon after I saw a friend of mine and thought her hair cut looked great. She told me that she found this new French hair stylist, Antoine. I didn't wait to make an appointment with him and I could not be happier with my hair. Antoine rebalanced my layers and gave me a beautiful soft haircut, so easy to style myself! It was all I was hoping for and he is truly talented and very personable. The salon has great atmosphere, a fantastic find!!!

After jumping around from different stylists and salons (Bumble & Bumble, Toni & Guy, Nubest, and countless others over the years) I finally found Russ. He's been doing my color for years now and I must say that I am always impressed. He is absolutely the best, he can really achieve the most dimensional hair color. He's taken me from blond, to brown, and back to blond again numerous times. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair over the years and I really owe this guy. He's very talented and is very good at recommending what would work best on your hair and he knows the products that he works with. This salon is a really nice relaxing environment and the location is convenient with top-notch service.

I have been trying to get a short, fun 'do for a while and haven't been able to find anyone i'm comfortable with. But Tim Johnson really took the time to get to know me, figure out what i wanted out of a haircut and then just made it happen. I came out of there feeling brand new with a new spring in my step. He created a funky, fun, spunky hairdo that really was exactly what i wanted. i will definitely be returning.

Enzo Agostino does an excellent job of cutting and styling my thick wavy hair.

He really listens to what you tell him about your likes and dislikes.

And he takes the time to cut my hair just right.

I'm been a client of Enzo's for the last six years or so, following him to Federico's, Cornelia's day spa, and now to Roy Teeluck.

At Roy Teeluck, the staff is pleasant and knows what it's doing. They're pros all the way.

Pros: Some might like the location -- it's midtown East.

Cons: Some might not like the location -- very close to 5th avenue and the tourist zone.

I moved to NY from Europe 14 years ago, and my biggest problem was Ive tried more than a dozen hair dressers for cut. And not once did I stick with one, because I wasnt satisfied. I dont really color my hair I only do balyaj once every 2 years, and thats when I go back to Europe because I didnt trust anyone here...then someone recommended Ali to me, and I tried him, and I am telling I have never been happier. He is absolutely amazing, for the first time someone did my hair the way I wanted it. I wanted Gisele Bundchen's hair color, and I told him to not cut too much but give me a nice hair cut without touching the length...and I was so nervous because of my experiences before, and because I really dont color my hair. And balyaj is a very natural look, like its from the sun. He also put glaze which gave it a nice shine, then he did this amazing blowdry. I am so incredibly happy that I found him..not only that but he made the whole salon experience so much fun, they have a wine menu, I had a glass of white wine while I was there. If you need any hair service at all Ali is the perfect hair dresser Ive experienced in my whole life.

I had the best experience at Roy Teeluck Salon. I met Abby about 3 months ago, she was referred to me through a friend. I initially went into the salon to get highlights. When she saw my hair she thought that it would be best if she did a glaze instead to make the highlights that i already had on my head a bit more neutral and less dramatic. So I went for the glaze. After the glaze Abby mentioned that if i wanted, i could come back in a few months to get highlights from her. I waited less than a month before I went back. I went back a few weeks ago and Abby created beautiful and subtle surfer highlights on my hair. They look very natural and I'm so happy with them. Abby is an amazing colorist and I would recommend her to anyone!

Roy Teeluck was the most enjoyable salon experience in New York City. After living in the city for almost 4 years, I've tried at least a half dozen salons and never been satisfied. After visiting Roy Teeluck, I will never go anywhere else. The salon is trendy, but not stuffy. The staff was very personable and ready to please. I started off my day with balayage highlights with Abby. The balayage highlights are well worth the experience alone! They look absolutely gorgeous, totally natural, and with Abby's expertise, the highlights grow out naturally leaving no root line around the scalp. 2 months after my first appointment, the color still looked great, and like I said, no roots! If you're looking for the best balayage highlights in the city, go see ABBY! You will never do foils again. I waited about 15 minutes before my haircut with Ali so they gave me a complimentary deep conditioning treatment worth $50. Can't beat that service. After that, I met with Ali who cut my hair so precisely, i thought I was working with not only an artist but a magician. He styled my hair in a cute Heidi Klum-like style with blunt bangs. My hair is so low maintenance these days to style in the morning and looks great even with a simple blow-dry and no curling irons or straightening iron needed. No fly-aways or awkward strands that just don't lay right. I've gotten more compliments on my hair cut and color than I ever have in my life. I returned two weeks later for a free bangs trim, and Ali had me looking hot and ready for my night out on the town free of charge just minutes after i arrived. I've recommended Abby and Ali to several friends and everyone just raves about them. If you're looking to change your hairstyle and your life, you must see these two at Roy Teeluck.

After many years of disappointing hair experiences in New York and Chicago, I'm very luck to have finally found him. He gave me an excellent hair cut - modern and easy to use. Not only this, he colored my hair and did highlights - I loved it and so did everybody. Just go there and leave yourself in the talented hands of Ali and be ready to be transformed!

I was visiting my aunt in Boston and decided to take a 3 day trip into New York. I decided while there to get a new style hair cut. After researching different salons I called Roy's on Tuesday and they scheduled me for an appointment on Thursday with Antoinne. I am very fussy about my hair and it had just gotten to a point where I was in a rut so I went with a very open mind and trusted him to do what he thought would look best. I am so glad I did. To me Antoinne is more than a stylist he is an artist. He not only gave me a wonderful new style he actually told me where I was going wrong with my hair and what I needed to do in the future and what my stylist back home needed to do. It was seriously the highlight of my vacation. Everyone was wonderful and made me feel at ease. Antoinne was seriosly amazing and I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Roy Teeluck's salon. People have not quit complimenting me on my hair now that I am home and it is so fun to tell them I got it done at a salon in NY by an amazing stylist and staff. I hope Antoinne and the staff read the reviews on here so they really know how much I enjoyed the experience and I am sorry I forgot the person's name that shampooed me. I believe it was Marisol and the receptionist who helped me. The only downfall was I couldn't pack Antoinne in my suitcase and bring him home but I will be back to New York and I will look him up for another amazing cut.

Wow!!! You have to try this salon. I went there yesterday for a haircut with Antoine, and he did an amazing job. He spent so much time with me and helped me come up with a plan I have always wanted for my hair. This was my 2nd time to the salon. The first time I saw Roy and was blown away by his talent, and awesome personality. This is completely worth the price, and any travel time!! I live in CT, but would travel much further to have my hair done at Roy Teeluck.

Everyone that works there is so friendly and accomodating, which is very rare at such an upscale salon. You will never get a better haircut anywhere else in the city. Whenever I leave, people are staring on the streets of NYC, and asking me where I get my hair done.

Truly the best thing I have ever done for myself.

On Saturday I drove from Albany for a haircut appointment with Ali. Ali totally transformed my hair. For the first time in my life I can blowdry my hair without a brush and every hair simply falls into place. If I use a brush my hair is smooth and perfectly proportioned. Ali took 10 years off of my appearance, no lie! The price is reasonable in fact it is less than I have been paying for the past 11 years in NYC. Ali and the rest of the staff are so sweet and sincere. They go out of their way to give you a great salon experience. Marisol shampooed my hair and she must be a masseuse, that certainly was more than a shampoo. I am so happy I searched Citysearch for a recommendation.

This past weekend I decided to get my haircut at this salon and it was a great experience. The staff was super nice and actually paid attention to you. I entered the salon and was greated by a nice gentleman who took my information and asked if I wanted anything to drink and I was brought me some yummy tea, as per my request (so many varietiesof tea). Then I got my hair washed and she not only washed my hair but gave me a great temple massage. Talk about going the extra step. Then I met Antoine my stylist and he did an amazing job on my hair.My only request was that he try to leave it long because I love long hair but to cut off the unhealthy portion and that is exactly what he did. When I saw my boyfriend he gave me so many compliments on my hair. I was even sent off with some free samples. Really nice experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. One more thing... the price was fair.

Over the years I've had many top NY stylists cut my hair and while I've had many good cuts I've never had an amazing cut. Until now. Twice, actually!
Antoine Brechu is a truly gifted artist. If you are looking for a hair stylist who will pick a cut that compliments your face shape and personal style perfectly, then Antoine is your man!
He consults with you beforehand, takes his time to assess your hair texture and listens to your needs. Once he starts cutting your hair you know you are in the hands of a master. Antoine has the rare ability to really make you look your best!
I can't recommend him highly enough...he is meticulous, careful, patient and creative!
Go to him once and you'll never want anyone else to cut your hair!!

I was a first timer last Saturday at the Roy Teeluck salon - - at the end of my hair cut and highlights I was so happy I almost couldn't speak. Abby did an incredible job with my highlights...I wanted them natural...she used a method called "hair painting"..better for your hair...loved the results and would do it again in heartbeat - - and would go back to Abby without a second thought. lLiza worked with Abby to finalize my highlights - again, lovely, professional people all around. Ali did my hair cut...and...it has been a long time since I had such a great cut that it ACTUALLY looks as good when i now have to do it myself. He listened to what i wanted - - gave me exaclty what i asked for - - BUT FAR BETTER. I wanted to wait to write a review until i spent a few days with the cut to see how I could manage it. It's almost as if the cut is so perfect, I don't even have to do anything. In any case, from the first person that greets you when you come off the elevator, to the woman taking great care of your stuff, even seeing Roy's smiling face walking around talking with people - this salon is first class and I am now hooked. Just want to say thank you for such a great experience. I would recommend the Roy Teeluck to all my friends and anyone that asked!

I used to go to a really pricey salon on lexington, but i was never happy with the job they did on my hair. I would ask for something and the stylist would just do what they thought was best. I came to Roy Teeluck and the service was amazing! I think I was asked if I wanted something, like a drink or a magazine, about ten times. I told Dora what I wanted to have done, which I had told to my usual stylist forever, and she did it! At first I was confused as to what she was doing, but my hair came out looking like a masterpiece and exactly what I wanted. She really understands what you want and howto get it done. I love this salon and I am definately coming back.

My hair is UNMANAGABLE, and after years of processing, my ends are always in bad condition. I came to Antoine with the impossible mission of saving my ends and shaping without losing the length. I always ask for this and it NEVER happens, my hair always ends up too short...ANTOINE has SUCCEEDED in this MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: He shaped and got rid of split ends while leaving the hair long enough to barely notice a difference in length, only it's healthier and more shapely!
The Salon has a great upscale service and quality yet there is no stiffness here, but rather a casual friendly, questions and concerns inviting attitude.

I'm a longtime client of Antoine's and since I started going to him I've had consistently fabulous hair-- he gives me a stunning short crop that suits me to to a T- no fuss and feminine. I just love it and I get comments about my 'do all the time... I should also mention that my hair is super difficult to cut well - it's fine and very straight, and the kicker is my cowlick, and I've basically suffered with it my entire life-- until ANTOINE! The way he listens is amazing and he somehow just KNOWS how to give hair a great look that suits not only the face that goes with it but also the hair texture. In my experience with Antoine, these are cuts that work and last fantastically and make me feel great -- 100% satisfaction every time. Antoine is an absolute gem and I'm so pleased to go and see him at the wonderful Roy Teeluck Salon. I highly recommend him as an immensely talented hair stylist!

never wrote a review before but have to share that i just had the most positive experience at roy teeluck salon. i headed to roy's after reading all of the good reviews on citysearch and i am happy that i did. everyone, and i mean every one was just so pleasant and approachable. i was a little nervous about my color (given past experiences at other places), but Michelle put me completely at ease and gave me the best highlights ever (her assistant, Liza, was also just a doll)...and Ali gave me a wonderful, age-appropriate, but still current haircut. they both talked me thru every step and seemed interest in my input. right now, i am feeling like i've finally found a salon to call home.

Being a salon owner in the Boston area I love to explore the industry by visiting other salons and having services done while I'm there. I am always open minded and do my research so that I visit only top rated salons. I found Roy's salon highly recommended by CitySearch and decided to give it a try . This experience was FABULOUS! Roanni gave me an amazing haircut , precise and progressive and easy to style. The salon was welcoming and unpretentious but with an address that reminds you that you are working with the best. I am 51 years old and went to Ali in February on the basis of these reviews. I walked out with the best haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I just returned from my second visit to Ali and again walked out looking fabulous. I have had all sorts of people, including the men in my office, comment on how great I look which is especially nice for the ego at my age! Ali is not terribly talkative which is the way I like it, but on my first visit we discussed what I was looking for - something that would be attractive for a long face with a high forehead but also work with the cowlick in the middle of my forehead! Ali gave me bangs - which made me a little hesitant at first but then he showed me how to style them - and an incredibly stylish chin length bob. It is very easy to style and I think that Ali is a miracle worker! I also need to add that I live in Baltimore and wouldn't dream of having anyone except Ali cut my hair. I want to add, too, that Ali's chair is next to Duffy's chair and I watched her work. I was so impressed that I now have her do my eyebrows. Duffy is incredible - she has the softest touch in tweezing your eyebrows and knows just how to shape your brows to flatter your face.

I waited a while to write my review because I feel a true mark of a good haircut is how great it looks even after your initial cut. Well it has been a month and let me just say I have not had one bad hair day since I got my tresses cut by the magical hands of Ali at Roy Teeluck. First of all I must give much admiration to the staff who is so cordial and accommodating,one always is under the impression that a place in the city will be uptight and pretentious, Roy Teeluck salon is not that by any means they are all friendly and warm. Now back to my haircut my sister went to this place first and I fell in love with her hair and she too never has a bad hair-day, it's just amazing how her and my hair looks better and better everyday and every time we style it. I had the pleasure of having Ali cut my hair and he is such a doll and a genius, he knew what went with my face and most of all was so excited about cutting my hair and along the way he gave me tips on how to get it looking salon worthy every time I do it at home and believe me I am not the talented team at Roy Teeluck but when I do my hair everyone thinks I just got it done. The techniques that Ali uses are ones I have never seen and his attention to the needs of your hair are spot-on. I have very thin hair and the way in which he cut it allows it to look so much more voluminous than it ever has. Mr. Teeluck himself even did a double take and took the time out to give me a compliment and that meant the world to me :) I can certainly go on forever about how happy I am with my hair but I urge anyone to please go to this salon for friendly staff, amazing service and more importantly the most rewarding, beautiful, lasting, head-turning, constantly complimented haircut you will ever have! If you are reading this Ali Zubeida and Zainab adore you !!!

Roy Teeluck and his friend Nancy really know what perfect hair can do for a girl. I met Nancy in LA through a celeb pal of mine. She said that i needed help with my hair, my overall look and that i could use an experience like no other,so she sent me to Nancy. When i told Nancy that i was heading for NY she said that if i wanted her color to really look it's best that i should see Mr Roy.Ok! So like a good girl i made contact with Roy in NY and got my hair cut. I look damn hot, i feel damn hot, and people are telling me i look damn hot. I am now a confident, hot looking career girl ready for anything. Now my celeb friendl is asking me for a referral to get a haircut. When i told her it was this guy Roy Teeluck who cut my hair she nearly fainted as she knew him back when he was in LA.So Mr, Teeluck, you're going to see an old friend very soon,when are you coming to LA next?

You MUST get your haircut by ALI! Not only is he the friendliest stylist I've ever had, he's also the BEST! I have people stopping me on the street telling me how cute my haircut is and wondering where I get it cut- that has never happened to me before! I will NEVER get my haircut by anyone else. Let me just start by saying that i will never go anywhere else again. At a time where people are careful of budgets and demand value for money i found this salon to exceed my expectations. First of all, do you know who Roy Teeluck is? It's amazing the array of work he has done during his long career, and he looks so young!.You can tell he has the respect of his staff, everyone who touched me from Enzo to Abby and the wonderful Marisol,what a shampoo that was. They all tell me that the salon they work in is moving very fast within the beauty biz! They didn't say much more than that other than that they believe this style and trend Roy has created will continue to please people who enjoy simply the best.

Everyone there was extremely nice so that made the experience better. I had a cut and color here and it was only ok. The color was barely noticeable but I didn't want anything extreme so I guess that was my fault. The colorist was a bit immature and unprofessional, she cursed out one of her colleagues. The stylist was definitely better but still an average cut for a high price. I thought it would've been better since I asked for a senior stylist. The salon itself is very run down and unpleasing to the eye. I will not be returning to this salon.

I had a great experience at this salon from my introduction through Roland who is a peach to all the staff. The atmosphere was warm and i felt excited to try something new. Roland recommended that Ronnie Castro cut my hair, and he chose the right person for me. She listened and then shared her ideas and off it went. I have loved my cut and it is growing so fast. I have no doubts that it will keep morphing into something beautiful so when i go back is entirely up to when i want to change it and reshape it again. Thanks!!!

I have gone 4-5 times to this Salon. Since I ?discovered? Ali, I always ask to make an appointment with him. He is very nice and courteous and does not speak much (which I personally really appreciate). He gives very nice haircuts; in fact I usually get a lot of compliments on my haircut from friends and acquaintances.

After my last haircut, I was still not happy with the way my hair looked so I decided to get some highlights to see if that would work better. I scheduled another appointment with Ali and I think now my hair looks just perfect. My natural hair is fairly blonde, so the highlights blended in wonderfully; they look really natural and go very well with my haircut. I am very satisfied with the overall experience and the quality of the service.

I love this salon! I?ve been a client for a few years and was a little nervous when both my colorist and stylist left. However, it was actually lucky for me in the end! Sometimes you get stuck in a ?hair-rut.? I?ve been freed with beautiful color by Abby and a great cut by Ali! I had a great experience here! I was welcomed with a glass of wine, received a wonderful head massage during my shampoo and my haircut with Dora was incredible. She really impressed me! And the best part is that I can blowdry and style it myself at home! I just can?t believe it!! She was really patient, listened carefully and actually gave me what I asked for. She is a sweetheart too! Bravo Dora ? you are a real find!

It was my first experience at a swanky salon but I was recommended this place by my friend so I decided to try it since I was going for a whole new style. I was nervous and not sure if the style I wanted would even look good on me. Ali was really nice and reassured me that the style I picked would suit me and that he would do a good job and that I didnt have to worry. He was right, he did a great job! I had a big party that night and everybody loved my new hairstyle. I love it too! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it is expensive. If you dont mind the slurge then this is a good place to go.

I have been highlighting my hair for ten years and have been everywhere-but the worst job was done by Enzio. I said "pale and natural", I got huge streaks of yellow/brassy-trashy yellow that did not even go up to the root. When he was doing my hair I was a bit nervous because he was taking so much product and slapping it on my hair with no rhyme or reason.. well, some highlights start near my part, some start an inch down. I started crying, this is my hair. He did not see the problem, but everyone else working there who saw it, saw the problem. I am going back today for a color correction with Michelle so I will report back. The managers Jo and Keith were so great about understanding my pain and did not to tell me that my hair was not that bad or tell me that I was wrong. They told me that I could come back and see a senior stylist. It just stinks because I don't feel like sitting another two hours and damaging my hair more. Enzio should be doing color at super cuts, not here. If they want to keep their reputation as a great place to color, they need to take the foils out of his hands and only allow him to do cuts. He did give me a nice cut which he did dry before the color, I so wish I would have stopped there.

I said I wanted my hair cut trendy but please don't give me a mullet. THEY GAVE ME A MULLET!!!! I hate it!!!! Now I have to go get it redone, probably cut really short to take out all the layers in the back and pay $100+ more. Some previous reviewer said something about a "euro-shag" they gave her that made her look like Carol Brady. THAT'S WHAT THEY DID TO ME!!!!!! Too trendy and it's so ugly. Do not go unless you have VERY VERY specific instructions.

I travel from Boston to NY quite frequently and I was nervous about getting my long hair chopped off...I said I wanted the best so I looked up salons in City Search and decided to give Roy Teeluck a try...I made an appointment with Dora and it could not have been a better experience. The atmosphere was great, Dora was a sweetheart and my hair came out exactly as I had envisioned....Roy even made a comment to me about how he liked it.....I constantly get compliments...I have recommended Dora and Roy Teeluck to all my friends in NY and those who have also tried it out agree that it is the best NY has to offer! BTW Dora gives the most amazing blowout ever....it was unbelievable....I also watched Roy create a masterpeice while I was in the salon, he did a recreation of Posh Spice's hair like you can't even believe...when I saw this woman's hair I thought to myself if he can get her hair to look like Posh's he's a genius...I guess he's a genius...lol...seriously take my advice, this was the best money I have spent in a long time...definitely worth a try....Dora is the bomb =)

I went for my first-ever appointment at Roy Teeluck and was beyond satisfied. I started with highlights by Abby, this was my first color ever (virgin hair I know!), the highlights came out so natural and I've received so many compliments. While having the color done, I also got a manicure by Gina; it lasted a full 2 weeks and looked amazing! Ali cut my hair and I have to say that he is simply fabulous; before my locks were limp and had no shape--he really gave me a style that I could work with and one that definitely made me feel glamourous! Duffy shaped my brows and did a terrific job as well (I just wish I had more time to go back so I can stick with the "brow beautification program"). Before I left they handed me a gift bag, which was a nice little surprise. By far this is the best salon in NYC--friendly customer service and a great staff that isn't a bit pretentious!

Although you may be skeptical or wondering how a salon could receive so many amazing reviews, don't be! Roy Teeluck salon really IS that good. Please, take these reviews seriously and know that all of these people (including myself!) would not be taking the time to write them unless they felt passionately about this amazing establishment! Here is my Roy Teeluck success story...

I had an awful highlight/cut job done at another salon that was highly recommended on Citysearch. However, I now know that there is no substitution for the best, and I should have come to the #1 recommended Roy Teeluck Salon first! I was pretty upset when I called on the night of my horrible hair experience, but had an amazing and comforting conversation with one of the owners (he instantly lifted my mood and I knew I would be in good hands!). Not only did he help me by getting an appointment within a few days, but had clearly told the rest of the staff about my experience, because I was treated like a star by everyone there! The ENTIRE Roy Teeluck staff is warm and pleasant, and they are incredible well trained!

Abby is wonderful for color! She knows color and was able to transform my hair into a soft, natural blonde color which I have gotten many compliments on.

Roanni did my cut and is an absolute angel! I cannot say enough good things about this stylist. She shows careful thought and consideration when cutting your hair, and will take her time to make sure it turns out exactly so that you look your absolute best! I took the plunge and went from long straight hair to the angled bob and wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do it! GO SEE ROANNI!!

As far as the price - treat yourself. It is worth EVERY cent, and you will realize that once you walk out of Roy Teeluck with an amazing look and a smile because they will truly take care of you!

Since there were so many good reviews I decided to try this salon. I asked for a senior stylist and I made an appointment with Tim. He was great! First there was a consulation where he asked me what my thoughts were, if I was handy with my hair, did I want to keep the length..... After the haircut, as he was drying me hair, he tried it wavy and I liked it as change to the way I would normally wear it. As he blew it dry, he explained what he was doing so that I could follow it at home. He asked me who recommended the salon and told him I read the reviews on city search. When I left , he asked me if I was pleased and if so would I write a review. I am happy to do so. Just one thing- when I got home and looked up the reviews I noticed that some reviews mentioned a complimentary manicure. I called the salon and asked if they always offered he manicure. I was told yes and I explained it had not been offered to me. The receptionist immediately apologized and put a note in my record so that it would be offered to me at my next visit. As good as my hair looked when I left the salon, a greater compliment to Tim is that I have been able to style it myself and it still looks good.

If you go to Roy Teeluck Salon you will be pleasantly surprised at how crowded they are all the time. That might sound like a bad thing, but the service and staff are so pleasant and attentive you will feel like you are the only one there. Ali does a great cut and Abby does terrific color. I was very pleased and you will be too!

If you want the best highlights in New York City go see Ali Ozel at The Roy Teeluck Salon. He works fast but is very careful and detailed about his work. He always gets the highlights right to the root and the color is natural and gorgeous! He also gives amazing blow-outs and haircuts. I have been to every salon in Manhattan for highlights, even the most expensive and fancy places and I have found that Ali is the very best! Roy Teeluck is also a wonderful salon with the most attentive staff I have ever seen. It's not snooty but it is very nice and the best of the best.

Ali is simply the best amongst all if you are planning for a hair cut. I was very desperately looking for a salon which would give me a haircut that would perfectly suit my face. A friend suggest roy teeluck salon and I decided to give it a try... and thanks to my friend and Ali, I got a LOT of compliments for the hair cut and how perfectly it suited me and made me look lots younger. My hubby was stunned at the way I looked with this miracle Ali had worked with my hair!

I have decided to never ever go to any other salon but Roy Teeluck Salon. THANKS A LOT Ali !!!

I had straight long hair for many years. I decided to go for short hair with layers which they say gives a younger look and smarter look. I got the hair cut done in one of the many salons ( I do not wish to name it here) and that was the biggest blunder I committed. I looked much better initially with my straight long hair!! I literally cried as the new hair cut looked horrible . I felt like isolating myself and not even going out of the house. This is when Sally my sis, came to visit and she suggested Roy Teeluck Salon.. I felt horrified even by the thought of going to a salon! but I had no choice other than going to some good salon or sitting at home till my hair grew again. Roy Teeluck she said is costly, but worth every penny.. that gave me some courage and I finally booked an evening appointment and visited the salon.

The moment I entered there I was confident I had come to the right place. The atmosphere was so very comforting, the staff warm and convincing.They gave me a welcome free manicure which was great.. and ALI !!! he worked magic on my hair! He transformed the horrible haircut into a beautiful layer cut and left me looking SUPERB!!! WOW !! I am never ever going to forget that feeling and this is going to be THE salon for me permanently.. THANKS to you Ali and all at Roy Teeluck Salon!
