This place sucks. You can get the same brands anywhere but without the attitude. The staff are super rude and lazy. Buy here at your own risk. Going to the dentist is more fun. If you really need a pair of sneakers that you cant find

Well a little harsh a guy or 2 can help you there but the rest of them are straight up mean... I mean it is the recession they should be more helpful.. the phone lady's n register lady's just basically do not want anything to do with the customers.. which makes me kinda hate the store..even though the store itself rocks

My husband was looking for a northface jacket that was trendy yet afordable. We visited many spots in North Jersey (west new yorks Bergenline) as well as uptown NYC (Washington Heights) but no luck with the prices being afordable. We decided to just head down to chinatown and look for other things. We got there and someone told us to go to Transit on Broadway and boy were we just extatic when we went in. The jackets were 60% off and the person helping us helped my husband find the right sizes in different styles, shoes to match as well as pleasing my husband with a matching shirt and sweater. GREAT SERVICE leaves a lasting impression. I constantly heard the people working if anyone else needed help, could they help with anything at all. Great service, great prices, Happy customers.

The transit is a great store in the village that sells clothing and sneakers. The store is pretty big and is packed with name brands such as north face, puma, nike, etc. The last time I went they were having a great sale on puma sneakers (pricing ranging from $19-$50). They also sell winter coats and bag packs.

then come on over. The cool thing about this clothing store is that it is very NYC subway oriented complete with a subway replica right in the middle of the store. The clothes tend to cater to the young, urban adult, and service is ok..they may or may not help you. IF you're in the "hood" and in the market for some clothes, then I suggest you stop by.

Transit is a pretty interesting store. They sell most sporty items such as sneakers, backpacks, and clothing. The store decore is what I find most interesting. The people there are very friendly and they really help you look for what you need. They have a huge selections of puma's at reasonable prices. They have a ticket system of getting your shoe size you are looking for that can be pretty slow especially when it gets really crowded.

Could this store have the worst service in Manhattan? Quite possibly. Staff who seem to think that a request to try on a pair of sneakers is akin to ordering them to drown a puppy.

A 40 minute attempt to buy a single pair of sneakers ended in our leaving the store empty handed as one of the pair had disappeared. This fact eventually communicated to us via a series of barely comprehensible grunts.
