In Short
Festive decor of colorfully tiled tables, vintage photographs and sunny Southwestern accents welcomes an all-ages crowd at this informal hangout. Youngsters and their parents pile into dining room booths; casual business types toss back margaritas and watch televised sports at the bar. The menu features mild versions of Lone Star state favorites, from double-basted baby back ribs and steak fajitas to red-beef chili and deep-fried onions.

The Inside Scoop

  1. What to Drink - Thirsty? Chili's features bottomless beverages, with free refills on coffee, brewed and flavored teas, lemonade and fountain drinks. Adults may prefer frosted mugs of beer and five varieties of hand-shaken margaritas.

Try being a waitress for a day

by Mary T.

I think that Chili's has pretty great food and good beers and drinks! I don't appreciate anyone saying anything about waitresses or waiters at Chilis or any restaurant because you don't know how it is to deal with people just like you. You complain about everything and are never happy. Some tables are nearly impossible and you sound like one of them. I bet if you tried to be a waiter for a day you couldn't hack it. And if you did have a problem you should go and blame the waitress right away. She didn't make the fries or the ribs! She brought them out to you! So you would rather her warm up the food than have the manager make fresh ribs for you that doesn't sound like such as bad deal! It's people like you that make waitresses hate their job.

Horrible food..BAD service

by Neil A.

I am extremely disappointment at the service provided to us by a waitress named Marissa at the W. Ridge Road Rochester NY. The texas fries that we ordered were cold and soggy. We did not want to create a fuss about it so we just ignored it. And then she brought us main course of baby back ribs. Those were stone cold and the sauce was not even spread on the ribs. (If you ever crave baby back ribs go to Distillery on Mt. Hope and you will know the difference). The plate was covered with sauce all over the rim, the ribs were stringy and dry, and the veggies were horrible. They were stale, cold and upon asking her why the food was coming out cold she said " Do you want the manager to cook the food for you". I was shocked to hear that response, rather than offering to warm them up she said this. The manager came and said that this is the first time he has heard of a complaint like this and was surprised. By this time our evening was already spoilt and I was disappointed at the response received from the waitress and the manager. They could see the quality of the food lying in front of us and rather than accepting this, they were putting lame excuses forward. Extremely sorry that I decided to go to Chili's. Never again Chilis...never again. The drinks were good and the place was looking nice and all. But bad right where it counts. BAD BAD food.

Ice Cold Beer!

by Sue B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,924

Chili's is very good. Always good service. They have frost mugs that my father loves. The portions are very big and the chips and salsa are good to. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake with ice cream.

Amazing Soup

by A M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,427

Chilli's is a great place to stop in and grab a cold beer and grea meal. The sizzling fajitas are a constant part of the atmosphere. One item on their menu you must try is their Chicken enchilada soup. It is to die for. No matter where you sit in this resturaunt you are treated kindly and entertained.
So tuck that napkin in your shirt and dig in!

PROS: Not a long wait for a table
