I purchased a partial plate 2 1/2 years ago from Jefferson dental of Watertown. They cracked 3 times in less than a year.I was told that I needed some comprehensive treatment done before he could make a partial that would last.I paid $968

this was an AWFUL experience. i grew up on well water and have had a lot of fillings over the years and this experience has been the WORST, BY FAR. i wonder if the fillings even needed replacing so i think he's committing fraud, first of all. second of all, he sent me home before he was even done with the fillings.....so i spent 24 hours in pain because my jaw wouldn't close properly. i went back for the "polishing" today and i am in the process of making an appointment (somewhere else, obviously) to get everything fixed. there are sharp and rough edges all around the fillings and they are STILL not aligned properly.

i've called my insurance to report him and i hope this guy gets put out of business sooner rather than later.

i had the worst experience ever at this place. my cleaning & x-rays were great, quick. then the very next day i went there for 2 fillings, they took me right back & i sat in the chair for over a hour and 45 minutes. i was so mad, then the dentist FINALLY had come in the room & said she was running behind and i needed to reschedule. WTF is what i am thinking. then i return a week later for my fillings to be done, which is today. NOW.. I cant close my mouth because it feels like a ball of metal is in my tooth, its chipping all in my mouth (quite disgusting if you ask me) & not to mention I cant eat on my left side nor can I open my mouth all the way without serious pain. I call the doctor tonight on an emergency, & he had the nerve to tell me that it was completely normal & that I shouldnt worry! UGH, NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVERRR GO THERE!

I??m in the Navy Reserve and needed an exam to be listed as ready to deploy. I went in for a standard cleaning and checkup, the cleaning went well. After the exam they claimed I had 6 cavities that needed to be repaired. As my insurance will not cover I had to pay out of pocket, I wanted to make sure as I have not had a cavity in 25 years. After the re-exam I was told I needed 5 fillings replaced as I was told by the DDS that fillings only last 3-5 years, note I had 4 that was done 5 years ago and 4 that was done 34 years ago. I went in a week later and the DR. butchered my right side as the Navy had my yearly x-rays the Navy Captain (O-6) with his own 30 year practice said Jefferson dental did me a disservice as my left side was still good and did not need replacing as Jefferson Dental doctors said. This place is basically a money pit and it is difficult to prove you did not need new fillings. Now I??m stuck with pain and the molars on my right side have hardly any tooth left, I??ll need crowns soon and that will cost a lot!

Terrible experience. I had to have some cavities filled and when I asked the receptionist to find out what might be covered by my insurance she told me nothing. So, reluctantly, I had silver put in and it was a disaster! There are two teeth I can't even get floss between, its a total mess in there! Then, after visiting another dentist and getting a second opinion, I found out I have to have it all ripped out and replaced because it was put in wrong AND I could have had the white resin covered at 80%.... terrible service- I hope no body has to endure what I had to

I went to visit this dental office which was newly built they had moved to a new location with myself & my 3 children. We all had our cleanings & exams done on the first visit. What an up to date office. All digital & the staff was great. our next visit was for fillings & other work that needed to be done. They were great my little 8 year old had to unfortunately have several pulpotomy's (root canals on baby teeth) & they were so wonderful & patient with her. The rest of us had work done and at every visit I was told what my estimated cost would be & the staff was always right on the amounts. I would & have recommend this office to all of my friends & family. The rates are great!

If I could give this dentist office less than one stay I first got my cleaning done there it was not that great of a cleaning it kind of seemed like they just brushed my teeth for me. I went back to get a a root canal and it was the worst experience I have ever had in my life at a dentist office! it took him 4 visits to do, the second visit he numbed the wrong side of my mouth. It hurt like heck!! Also, when it was all said and done I had two second opinions on it and I need to get it retreated because the root canal was to short and I got an infection!! I will have to pay 1000 out of pocket to get it done again! PLEASE save your self the trouble find another dentist.. I now to to watertown dental health group ( accepts tricare) and they are great!

i recently went to jefferson dental health services for some extensive tooth repair,my first visit went well and i was happy with my cleaning and x-ray service, however when returning for my teeth repair it didnt turn out so good...they attempted to repair my 6 upper front teeth...when i left i thought they felt a little ruff but i thought they would be fine once i had gotten use to them..to my suprise only 4 hours later most all filling material used started flaking off leaving very sharp edges..i am now in more pain then when i went thier...i have cancelled my next app. and hope nobody else has that expierence..i am now seeking a new dentist ...

We are a military family. Relocated to this area this summer -made appointment about six weeks prior, receptionist called me to get my husbands social security number for insurance purposes. When I arrived receptionist let me fill paperwork out for forty minutes then told me they could not see my daughter unless I could produce a copy of her dental x-rays. I was told her insurance may not cover xrays - this should have been checked in advance. She is fourteen and in braces. I informed her she had just had a full set of xrays taken by a Watertown orthodontist and asked if they could just clean her teeth and I would bring the xrays by later. She informed me this was their policy for new patients and I asked if they could make an exception because she is only fourteen. She didn't even ask the dentist before saying no. I asked what they would do if someone was pregnant and her reply was that they would still do xrays, but just "double vest" them. I thought that was weird. I explained that we would find another dentist and left with all three children. I will never return. Totally unprofessional environment and rude to waste my time. I had to drag three children out in the rain for an evening appointment and then was told they couldn't see her.
