Slate Hill Day Care Center

Slate Hill Daycare is the best daycare/pre-school that I have found. I can not say enough about the staff as well as Mrs.Reddy. My daughter went for 2 1/2 years. I moved 45min away and made the drive to Slate Hill daily for 6 month. When my daughter was finished pre-school she knew how to tie her shoes, how to spell her name, her address and phone number. She could count to 50 her A.B.C's, shapes, days of the week , months in a year... The list goes on and on. The staff works with each child to make each feel so special. Mrs. Reddy is always hands on. I can not say enough about Slate Hill. If you have the chance to go to Slate Hill Daycare / Preschool take it. I believe that I was lucky to find them.

My daughter just graduated from the program and will be attending kindergarten in September. I could not be more pleased and satisfied in the way she was prepared. Not only does she love school but she is even reading and I thank her teachers for this. Their dedication, love and patience to the children says it all in the way the kids are prepared. Love the staff and highly recommend the school!!!

My daughter has been attending Slate Hill Day Care for the past three years and has now graduated. I give so much credit to Mrs.Reddy and all the teachers in helping to give my daughter all the best in life. She has learned different languages and scored amazingly high during kindergarten evaluations. Mrs.Reddy has become like family to us and I have told so many about the school. I wish could express just how much I love Slate Hill Day Care and how greatful I am for all they have done for my daughter. Melanie

We love Slate Hill PreK, Mrs Reddy the director of the school is very involved and on top of things when it comes to her students. My daughter comes home everyday with handouts,projects and weekly updates on what she has learned at school. She loves going to school and informing me on what she did that day. The school is amazing, it really teaches kindergarten prep and it's because the teachers actually take the time to review. I couldn't have asked for a better school to have my 5 year old daughter in.

My son has been attending Slate Hill Day Care Center since September 2008. He is in the 3 year old program and this is his first school experience. He can't wait to get to school each morning and see his teachers and friends. All of the teachers are very caring and Mrs. Reddy is a fantastic director. I highly recommend this preschool.

My four year old daughter loves this place. She is going into Kindergarten next year and is really excited. This was her first year of school, in September she was crying because she didn't want to go to school but after the first week she started crying because she wanted to go back on Saturday. The staff is excellent and they take really good care of the children. They also though my daughter so much that I would have to thought her to get ready for Kindergarten. They have fun activities and special day which the kids really enjoy. They are so much better than the preschool that my other two daughters went to.

Slate Hill Day Care Center took care of my 4 year old son after having had a bad experience elsewhere. My son would scream and fight with me about going to day care until I took him to Slate Hill. Miss Reddy assured me that he would not scream and fight with me to come to her place, and she was right. He has been there for a year and a half and they are his family away from me. He has grown from all the great programs Miss Reddy and her team have provided during this time. When I drop him off, I am free from worry about his physical, mental and emotional well being.

I can't see enough wonderful things about Slate Hill Day Care. My daughter has been attending since September 2007 and will be moving up in June to Kindergarten. The depth of her knowledge and learning since she began their is amazing. On her very first day at school, she cried when we picked her up. She didn't want to leave - this is a testament to the great staff, wonderful Director - Mrs. Reddy and positive learning experience provided by Slate Hill. The teachers and staff are beautiful people who love what they do, are dedicated, patient and kind with all of the children who attend. Slate Hill has a great curriculum, thoroughly prepare the children for Kindergarten, and provide a safe and nurturing environment to develop their social skills. They explore different themes, cultures, foods (when they cook) so as to give the children different experiences. I would highly recommend Slate Hill Day Care to anyone and everyone.

My Son went to Slate Hill Day Care for 2 years and was well prepared for Kindergarten. My 4 year old Daughter now attends and LOVES to go to school. The teachers are all very caring and actually teach the children in a fun way. There is always an interesting event or trip and the kids even having cooking class on Fridays! Mrs. Reddy, the Director, is always available to speak with the parents and is very involved in each of the classrooms. Can't go wrong sending your child to Slate Hill Day Care!

This is my son's 1st year at Slate Hill Day Care Center and we absolutely love it. He is learning so much!! They have a fantastic curriculum and there is no doubt in my mind that he will be well prepared for Kindergarten come September.He looks forward to going to school everyday and cries if they are closed due to the weather. The director Mrs Reddy is not just a fixture in her office. She is hands-on. She fosters the home/school connection and is very involved in the classrooms. She knows all the children by their first name and greets them at the door daily. The teachers are warm and caring and they make the children feel special. Every week we get a news letter home that tells us what they have worked on for the week which includes LETTER OF THE WEEK, BOOKS READ, SONGS, AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES. Every Friday is homework that supports the learning that took place to review at home. We are very impressed with the amount of learning that is happening there. They surpassed all the expectations. We would highly recommend this school to anybody that is looking for a reputable preschool for their child.
