They used to be better, but now they have different people making the pies. And sometimes the new workers dont cook the pie correctly. Pizza is to be well done. I still go but now I make sure it's well done. Top 5 pizzeria's on Staten Island.

I've travelled around the world tasting pizza! Best is in Naples, Italy. Two other places where they have the best pizza is 1=NYC and 2= Chicago. In Staten Island Joe and Pats is the WORST I've EVER had the sauce is TOO PASTY the cheese tastes old and they burn the dough too much I give a ZERO = 0

One thing i can tell you about joe and pats is that everyday everything that they put out and serve is super fresh. the pizza is very unique because the put chunks of cheese instead of shredded cheese and their sauce is out of this world. i have tried alot of pizza shops on staten island and this is by far the best.

These guys make an incredibly thin and incredibly crisp crusted pie with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. its the only pie I can eat a whole pie of ever. The only drawback is you pay dearly for this at 14 bucks a pie. Worth it for those times you really want a great thin crusted pie
PROS: I thought I was eating Matza the first time its soooo thin crusted
CONS: costs more than most Island pies for sure

Thin crust at its best. The price was right on the money. And the service was excellent, served by a beautiful young woman! The food was great and everything came out fast and hot!

You never had great pizza until you had Joe & Pat's Pizza!

I grew up on this pizza, and so has my family of generations. They use the finest ingredients and make their pizza so perfectly. I LOVE IT! My uncle used to eat there every day after school and lunch on the weekends for his entire youth. I was only able to eat there every Sunday, or I would have been there everyday. The family who operates the business is very nice and professional. I would highly recommend it to all!
Pros: Professional Service and of course their Pizza
Cons: Parking is hard to find as you have to park on the street

I wish more New Yorkers could make the trip to Victory Blvd to taste these pies.
Best pizza in the city, no doubt.
The mozzarella sticks are exceptional as well.

Joe & Pat's Pizzeria features a unique thin crust pizza with an especially wonderfully tasting tomato sauce. The mozzerella cheese is not grated, but cut into chunks, then baked in a rotisserie oven, which adds to the experience of savoring the best slice of Pizza in NYC! Joe bakes the best pie in the Tri-State area! (Pat has since moved on to the real estate business) His team of experts includes the Maitre'd - his wife Lena, and his son Angelo who have supported the establishment for many years.
Joe's pie making team is the best in the business, and have been taught the master's lesson in banging out the dough to form the perfect thin crust. Do not hesitate to get out to Joe & Pats any day of the week for a superior slice of NY Pizza!!!

The best for over 45 years

I have been enjoying the pizza at Joe and Pat's Pizzeria for about 45 years. It is still exactly the same. A lively and tasty tomato sauce, just the right amount of mozzerella cheese, all on a thin and crispy crust.For me this is the benchmark of all pizzas.Simply put , the best in the U.S.
