I love this Pet store. The stuff is friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. They have a very good selection of fresh, high quality pet food. And a lot of other things. The prices are very reasonable.
I would recommend this store to everyone. The best store around.

the person who wrote the negative feedback on this store needs to have their head examined !! The people at this store are HIGHLY knowledgeable of all their products. my dog has suffered from food allergies for over a year now. the vet put my dog on a special food diet, gave him shots, nothing helped, my dog was miserable and uncomfortable. I went to petsmart and changed the food again, nothing was helping. I went into positively pets and they asked me alot of questions about my dog and then picked out a couple of foods for him, he loved the food and has been on it ever since. Today, my dog is a whole new dog, his allergies are gone, he looks and feels great thanks to positively pets. You have a new customer forever !!!

I moved to Poughkeepsie a year ago and have searched long and hard to find the quality of products that Judy carries. NOWHERE. Off i am today for New Windsor.I first found the store when i lived nearby, and had always fed my pets the highest quality I could find. If i didnt eat the equivalent of a Mcdonalds diet 3 times a day, why should my pets. I found everything I needed and more here.The service with a smile, the product knowledge and compassion is incomparable. The product assortment ONLY THE FINEST AT GREAT PRICES. Thank you to everyone at positively pets for keeping my pets happy and on a nourishing diet.

Judy has been here in New Windsor since 2004, and she is the most friendliest and intelligent Pet Store-ologist in the world. She allows pets inside, gives free samples, and is a great and caring person to all our pets! She studies her products extensively and sells only the best and safest products that are available. You won't find a better or more caring store owner in the world!
Love to our "Aunt Judy" from "Patches, sixteen and a half years old Calico and healthy as a kitten Thanks to "Aunt Judy's" safe and healthy food & products!!

I recall when my vet recommended Science Diet for certain health issues for one of my senior cats. Maybe since the pet food recall, even the veterinarians are getting more informed about the more healthy and natual pet foods. It was Dr. Zagoda at Otterkill who told me about Positively Pets. I do not often have reason to be in the New Windsor area, but I did visit the store on a recent holiday when it was opened. I had the run of the store and easy access to the expertise of the owner. What a fabulous array of healty cat foods. Some I knew about, others I bought with the owner's recommendation. It was also great to dialogue about the care of our neutered and innocualated feral cats we shelter and feed. If searching for the store, look carefully. It is worth the effort.

Was told by Dr. Flannery's office to "watch the weight" of the oldest...ernie, so off to search for "healthy" cat food! SOOO easy to find at Positively Pets. The woman (owner!) was a wealth of information for us and also gave us some great samples that she had received to try. We are on our way back this week to buy some more TIKI CAT, which was a hit for Ernie and his evil spawn sister, Abby. Thanks for a refreshing amount of customer service!

Finally a pet store that doesn't smell bad and have creepy people behind the counter. Plus this store also has an amazing selection of HEALTHY food for your pet. Yeah pets need to eat well too! Not just humans. The staff is also knowledgeable however the owner goes above and beyond to help.

Not only are dozens of full lines of gourmet and natural pet foods stocked but there is also a selection of toys and people gifts as well. A must stop if your pet is more like a child!

This is a small, privately owned Pet Store in our town and it is run well. The owner is very pleasant, offers samples of new pet food and treats and offers a wonderful selection of naturla and human quality foods for cats and dogs. When a product is promised to be on a certain day you know it will be! Great store!

Pets are allowed here. She also takes pictures of the pets and it is placed on the wall. Your pet will receive a birthday card and a coupon. She is friendly and loves the animals. It is close by and very clean.
