I have been to many parties at Plaster Art are than have all been wonderful. My son loves going there. Kids enjoy creating their own painting and are very proud of their art work. Plaster Art is much better than the other party places on Staten Island where the kids just run around with no order or purpose. As for what other people say about it being small , as long as you are not a parent who lets their kids act like a maniac it is fine. There is a lot going on for the kids to not want to run around: painting, snacks, pizza, cake, games, presents.

My daughter went to a birthday party at plaster art and had a great time. She got to decorate a rainbow and take it home. The place was very small and there wasnt much room for children and parents. I would receommend this party to an older birthday child because younger ones can get bored and into trouble fast.

My daughter has been to so many birthday parties and group trips to Plaster Art that we really do not have any more room for her creations. The idea is that you choose a shaped piece of plaster (usually for parties or groups they limit you to choosing from two or three choices) and paint it any way you like. While the employees bake the plaster to set the paint, pizza and cake is served. This is a fun party for a creative child, but the store is extremely small, and with the two or three tables set up (depending on how many guests there are), there is little room for walking around as the tables take up the entire amount of floor space. Children, especially with a group of their friends, no matter how well behaved they may normall be, have difficultly sitting in a chair for two hours, so generally the adults find themselves constantly shielding the shelves and and shelves of plaster creations in fear that a child will knock them all down. Adults can go to Plaster Art at specific times to make their own, more intricate creations as well.

PROS: Create your own art.
CONS: Tight space.
