1 Stars: HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! (by thenamesdiana01)

They people here are so incredibly dishonest. They installed my brakes incorrectly and forgot to put essential parts back into my car. I had to go back so many times to try to get them to do the right job, like just making my car run. They are incredibly sloppy mechanics and a big streak of dishonesty. I can't believe they have so many stars and great reviews. Maybe the reviews are for their carwash service. PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO HERE. WHY RISK IT

5 Stars: You gotta try these guys (by anthony t.)

I can,t believe I hadn't found these guy's sooner.

I have lived in Greenpoint for over 10 years and I never knew they were there. Maybe it's because their at the other end of McGuinness Blvd by the Pulaski Bridge.

I just happened to be driving by one day after being at 2 other shops that tried pulling my leg on some crazy priced repairs they said were needed in order for my car to pass the NYS inspection when I spotted this place. I pulled in, and they took my car right away.

They found a couple of minor things but nothing that prevented me from passing the inspection.

Because of their honesty I decided to have those small issues taken care of which only cost $ 72.00. And they gave me a free car wash.

Their really cool guy's. You gotta give Two Guy's Autoplex a try.

5 Stars: I'm glad I went (by Teddy Rock)

I just moved from Manhattan into Greenpoint, and I'll tell you, it's a pain having to find new places to shop or to have any services done, like, laundry, dry cleaning, or even car servicing. I found Two guys though a friend who highly recommended them. Well,, it was great advice. After my experiences there, I really wouldn't look to go anywhere else. I've been to many repair facilities before, but not quite like this one. Their far different from the rest. They treat you with respect, and they really look at the customer being the most important part of the business. I found them to be honest, and not just looking to make a buck.

After explaining my busy schedule, they offered to pick up the car from my house, which most places would never bother offering. They had taken care of the services needed, where then, I was able to pick up the car on my way in from work.

I'll just say, These guys are exceptional.

Thanks guys.

5 Stars: Good feeling about them (by Kevin D)

I am a collector and shipper of classic vehicles, both European and American.

So, unfortunately over the years I've seen some shady places before that treated my cars poorly, and of-course over charged especially the dealers.

So, that's why after visiting Two Guys Autoplex, I needed to write something good about these guys.

When I first went in , It was for a hand wash on my 65 Mercedes.

While I was there I spotted an old cobra. that they were restoring. I had been looking for that car for years. You can imagine my interest, but I was asked not to go to close to the car, which I highly respected. If it were my car , I would ask the same.

But anyway, I was very impressed with the high level of concern and professionalism they had with the work that was being done on each of the cars that were there, and how sincere they were when handling there customers.

After a few visits of seeing the same, I met with the owner and requested for Two Guys Autoplex to take care of all my vehicles. Mind you, I rotate approximately 75 cars a year.

Well, I'm glad I found them, and that their here in the neighborhood.

5 Stars: Different from the other places (by Vira85)

I found myself stuck in a lousy situation one day, pushing my car off that lovely BQE they call a highway..

I didn't want to call the last place I went because of the bad experience I had before.

So I called my wife who checked on-line and gave me the number of a new place, Two Guys Autoplex.

I called, and they came.

Theses guys were great. They towed my car, found the problem, fixed it, got it going, and had me out in under two hours.

But the one thing they said to me before I left, which I found shocking was, they felt I should not look to sink any other money into this car. That my car (at almost 200,000 miles) had seen better days, and that it would take more money then what it's worth to get it back in shape, in order to depend on it once again..

That's not something I expected to ever hear from some auto repair shop.

There really are honest people out there. You just have to look for them.

1 Stars: DONT GO HERE (by who do you trust)

please don't go here, these people just want to make more $$ and they are mean.
they will tell you what is wrong with your car , plus a bunch more.
after bringing in my car for what they said was a 1200-2400 $ fix i brought to another place in the hood and turned into a 300$ job.

5 Stars: Skillfull, Honest, and by the book (by Swartz Law)

I like these people at Two Guys Autoplex.
They are the most honest group of people I've met in any business here in N.Y.
It's not just about money with them. They tell you just how it is, good or bad. They pretty much the truth, which is so hard to find these days.
It may sound great or then may not be what you want to hear, but it's the truth. Also what I like about them is their concern for doing everything by the book when it come to safety and the environment.
I belong to an organization that fights for the rights of clean air.
Being that cars are one of the most pollutant, There should be stricter law against the releasing of such gasses in the atmosphere. But that's a different story.
I believe these people are doing their part by helping the environment and the people within it.
I learned they also do gas to bio-fuel conversions.
I think that's great guys. Thumbs up to these guys... Really.

5 Stars: A great place to bring a broken car. (by Molly718)

My husband brought our 11-year-old minivan to Two Guys when the Maintenance Required light went on. It turned out that the van needed a new catalytic converter, as well as many other repairs. The mechanic actually put the car on the lift and showed us each and every repair he was planning to make. Then we sat down with another employee, who again explained each repair in detail and gave us several price points for parts. When we told him that we were essentially broke, he worked out reasonable solutions with us instead of trying to sell us on unneeded repairs.

In the end, the repairs actually cost LESS than the estimate, which really surprised me. I picked up the van 3 days later and it was running like new! They even cleaned it inside and out. Later the same day, I noticed that one of the tires was flat. They fixed the problem within 40 minutes and didn't charge me.

The best part of the experience was not feeling like we'd been taken advantage of. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and eager to help. I will be returning to Two Guys for all of my van's needs!

5 Stars: Worth the trip (by Mcray75)

I found these guys online. So I wasn't sure what to expect.
I needed to travel a bit to get there being I live
in Bay Ridge.
But it turned out these guys are rated #1 for a reason. They were straight with me about everything that was needed and what I didn't need to be bothered with.
Their straight up.
They had even taken care of a couple of problems I've had with the motor that other places I've been to couldn't diagnose.
These people are really the one to see if you have issues with your car. I'm glad I made the trip.

5 Stars: Decent people (by Adam Andler)

These people are the most decent people I've met since I've moved to NY.
Most people are just rude and want to take you money. But not these guys.
They actually have helped me on numerous occasions and didn't even charge me. The last time I was there I I had smoke coming from the car that left a cloud behind me when I drove. They found the problem quick and just opened the hood re-attached something and said not to worry I be fine now. There pretty cool guys.
Thanks again guys......

5 Stars: There are still good people out there (by Peter Coelle)

These guys are awesome.
I had a lot of damage done to my brand new car by a wild pack of kids.
My windshield was broken, my door was dented in,the paint was keyed, my radio was stolen, my antenna was broken. My wife and I stepped into there place almost in tears.
These guys helped us so much. I requested only to order and replace the windshield being there's no insurance on the car yet and I didn't have money to pay for all the other work needed. But it was later that they took it upon themselves to pull out the dent in the door touch up the scratch and replace the antenna for free. They offered to search for a used radio from perhaps a junk yard. I couldn't believe it. At first when we went in to pick up our car I was afraid to even look at it. Knowing there was all the other damage to it.
But when I saw it I was amazed. It looked great. and they didn't even charge me for the other stuff.
The owner said they had an extra antenna and the rest was just some time spent, and that they were happy to do it. And that I should just find myself a garage to park the car inside. I can't say enough on how I appreciate what they did for us.

5 Stars: Not a bad place (by john b.)

Over the years I have been to many shops.
So when I seen how nice they treated the customers, it was pleasing. I was surprised to see they have computers with Internet there for the customers to use.
That's much better then being left there to read boring magazines while you wait.
They checked the car and explained why I was having the problem I had, and showed me the actual break in the part. They then had gone on to explained in detail the cause and exactly how it happens. I thought that to be going bit beyond what most places practice.
So, again I was impressed.
After that, they took care of everything that was needed quickly, and got me out to go back to work. All in good time.
Really,, Not a bad place.

5 Stars: Frankly speaking, It's the most trustworthy place around (by johnnyjb)

I have gone through the troubles before with other shops, but when I found this place I was really impressed and pleased with there performance and honesty towards what was needed to be repaired on my car(which was not much at all). Since I had been to a some other shop a week before that tried selling me everything under the sun, these guys looked great in my eyes.
The only complaint I had was that it had taken a while for them to clean the car after the repairs, simply because there not enough guys working in the car wash. Maybe it was just that day. I don't know.
But I guess I really can't complain being the car wash was free anyway. perhaps It was just that I was in a huge rush to get back to work that day.
Anyway,, I highly recommend this shop.

1 Stars: I'm through with this place (by Greenpointer203)

i was warned to stay away from this place. I thought I could get a simple annual inspection. No. Their mechanic told me they wouldn't pass my car unless I bought a brake job the car didn't need. The employee started off really vague about the brakes. He just said 'these are your brakes. you want more than that." He never measured the brake pad but kept insisting "you want'" a brake job." When I said no he lost his temper. The car didn't need brakes at all. The car easily passed inspection at the next shop I went to. Now you have been warned.

5 Stars: Not bad (by happyfranky)

Not a bad place at all.
Just like other people, I have had to deal with the garbage from other shops in the past.
These guys were different by far. They did leave somewhat of an impression.
They were quick with finding the problem with my car,
they fixed in 20 minutes,
and their bill was cheap.
So I really can't say anything bad about them.
What I really didn't expect was that they detailed my car for free before giving it to me.
So I guess you can say I was a happy camper when leaving.

5 Stars: 5 Stars (by tommytom)

These people are extremely good and I never have to wait for anything.
I pull in and they take my car right away, whether its an oil change or repair that's needed, and what I really like is they approach you in such a professional manner and offer you either coffee, tea or even internet usage.
As far as their prices I've found that they are pretty much average, although the one thing they do is give a lot more extras into the service, like topping off all the fluid for free and give you a free car wash with any of the services.
This is a pretty good place. Highly recommended.

5 Stars: Straight up guys (by Frannie1975)

I went to Two Guys Autoplex after not being able to find someone who can interchange parts from another vehicle.
See, I have an old Camaro that I'm not only restoring, but I'm preparing it for the track. The speed I need can't be produced by the original motor and transmission. So I got myself a larger motor and transmission from an old GTO.
Everyone at other shops told me it was impossible, but Two Guys new exactly what needed to be done to make the interchange work. They also suggested going with a few differences that needed to be to make the car more stable and also made the job a lot cheaper.
These guys are top notch. They know their stuff and there really cool people.
I now have a date for the track after showing them just how much power and speed my car can push out..

But anyway, I just wanted to say that these guy's are the finest in what they do, and the most concerned about the vehicles they service. You can really see it in their face.
They are always so busy with so many cars, but they always make sure the customer never has to wait to long for their car to be brought in and worked on.
In most cases I have left my car as I went to work, and picked it up later in the day. But in some instances it was something minor. So,, I just waited, although I never waited more that 20 minutes for any thing they needed to do.
Their skillful, honest and really fast. Thumbs up....
I just felt I should get that message out to people.
Thank you.

2 Stars: Not recommended (by Peter1000)

I took my car to Two Cars Autoplex to have the door fixed. They didn't fix a crucial part of the door and didn't tell me until I came to pick it up after they told me it was "fixed." They then quoted me a price to have the final part done. When they finally got the last part fixed, it ended up costing twice as much as the original quote. The work they did was fine, and they did not "upsell" me. But their quote was way low and they didn't do the job right the first time, so I give them two stars.

Hello.
I dropped my car off with these guys and went to work.
By the end of the day, they had my car repaired, inspected and waiting for me.
After repairing the car they had even cleaned the car perfectly, inside and out for free. NOW THAT'S SERVICE.
You don't find that too often, especially in N.Y..
I'll be seeing those guys again.

5 Stars: Nice place w/ cool people (by Berny2b)

I don't usually write reviews. It not my thing.
But I had been looking to pass an inspection for 3 days, and I was told by 4 shops in the area that my car needed all sorts of work done to it. The thing is, all the other shops said I needed completely different things done in order to pass. I then was told by a friend to go over to Two Guy's Autoplex. When I did they had told my all I needed was 1 tire, which I had known about for the longest time but never had the time to change it.
At that point I was so pleased, that I now found the time to change the tire, and I was on my way.
I seen just how many people like this place only when going on this site to write the review myself.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

1 Stars: RIP OFF ARTISTS (by unclesanchez)

The worst part was that they did unwanted work. They replaced a rusty exhaust bracket that wasn't broken and charged $80--$65 for parts (the part costs $10) and $15 for labor (my grandmother could replace an exhaust bracket in 15 minutes, and she's dead). When I said I didn't want to pay that, they took off their bracket and put mine back on....which was now conveniently broken.

But besides that, they lied about the estimate. For the job I wanted, they quoted me for parts + $65 in labor, but when I got the bill it was $65 in labor PER SIDE OF THE CAR! So they billed me $130 in labor, not the quoted $65. So, if you want to get ripped off and overcharged and not get your stuff fixed, this is the place for you!

Its so nice to finally come to a place where the staff is friendly and professional at the same time. You sit in the office and you can hear other customers mention the same things. The first impression is the most important, and they definetly impressed me.

5 Stars: Honest, and by the book (by annaseyes)

I like these people at Two Guys Autoplex.
They are the most honest group of people I've met in any business here in N.Y.
It's not just about money with them. They tell you just how it is, good or bad. They pretty much tell you the truth, which is actually so hard to find these days.
It may sound great or then may not be what you want to hear, but it's the truth. Also what I like about them is their concern for doing everything by the book when it come to safety and the environment.
I belong to an organization that fights for the rights to have clean air.
Being that cars are one of the most pollutant,
There should be stricter law against the releasing of such gasses in the atmosphere. But that's a different story.
I believe these people are doing their part by helping the environment and the people within it.
I learned they also do gas to bio-fuel conversions.

1 Stars: Save yourself a problem. DO NOT go to Two Guys Autoplex (by Felipe O.)

My engine light turned on, and I went to Two Guys Autoplex. After an initial check, they said that there was a problem with the oxygen sensor. I trusted their judgement, paid for a replacement, and picked up my car only to see the light turn back on later that day.

The owner, Stephen, said that they simply needed to re-set the system, but assured that I could drive without any problem or damage to my car. I brought the car back, only to hear that the computer now had to be changed, and that I should've brought it earlier because I could be harming the engine. Every time I tried to argue that they should have told me that before, Stephen got mad and spoke to me in an insulting "you don't know" tone. His attitude was always similar.

Almost $2000 and one month later, I finally got my car out with the engine light off. That same week I sold my car. When the customer and I went to another shop to get an overall inspection, the first diagnostic was that the oxygen sensor was not working. The new shop assured me that Stephen ripped me off.

I went through a horrible experience, which I share with you so that you may not go through the same. I recommend that you DO NOT go to Two Guys Autoplex.

5 Stars: Excellent (by KTL)

Let me start of by saying that I found this place online and chose it after reading many of the positive reviews about it. I was purchasing a used car from a private seller around the area and needed to have it checked out before I bought it. I called first to see if this is something they can do for me and was transfered directly to the owner of the shop, Stephen. After briefly speaking with him we arranged that I would bring the car in later in that day. Asked for the price and was quoted somewhere around $30. I ended up coming in later that day with the owner of the car to have it looked at. He freaked out when he realized that the guys at Two Guys Auto where doing a very detailed inspection, he came up with a quick excuse and rushed me out of there... Fortunately not in time for the mechanics to be able to tell me what exactly is wrong with the car and unfortunately before one of the guys got to test drive it. Because of this they ended up not charging me anything. Later on that day I came in and had an hour discussion with the owner about what needed to be fixed and received a price quote. I was still a little unsure if I should buy the car without it being test driven by the mechanic. I expressed my concerns to them and Stephen offered to come with me to where the owner of the car lives and test drive it before I finalize my decision. We went there later on that day. Even with all the parts I had to replace I bought the car (it was a decent deal). Brought it back to the shop left it over the weekend while I took care of plates, registration and insurance and came back Monday to pick it up. The car was ready when promised, detail cleaned waiting for me outside. They replaced the brakes, the routers, the struts, fixed the flex pipe, my bumper, gave me an inspection and some other minor things and charged me LESS then what I was quoted.. Really honest guys. I've only had one other issue with the car since then. Something in my car was leaking. I took it in to them again. After well over an hours of hosing the car and pulling apart all the panels they finally found where the leak was coming from. I was told it needs to be sealed. I wanted clear sealant which they were out of so I ran over to AutoStrauss and bought it for $5. When I asked them how much I owe .... NOTHING.

I later recommended them to my cousin who was having transmission problems on his 02 Impala. He had the transmission replaced already once and was charged over $1K for a used transmission by a different shop. Two Guys ended up putting in a NEW transmission for him for only $200 or $300 bucks more... The car now drives flawlessly..

I would recommend to anyone. These guys know what they are doing and they are good at it. The customer always comes first and leaves satisfied.

1 Stars: Two Guys Auto Center is a bunch of swindlers. (by Emily W.)

We have had our car inspected at Two Guys the past two years. Both times they found something wrong that cost exactly $800 to fix before we could get our inspection sticker. Amazingly our friends took their car there for an inspection and (shock!) had to spend exactly $800. They've obviously got some kind of racket going on. But to top it all off, they never sent either of our inspections info into the DMV, so we are having problems getting our registration renewed. When we called to ask if they could please send the past two years worth of info into the DMV the staff was completely unhelpful and terribly rude. I was shocked to read that the reviews already up here were so glowing, but on second read it sounds like people who work for or are connected to Two Guys must have written them. They are WAY too glowing and over the top for any auto shop, let alone one that has caused us so much grief. GO ANYWHERE BUT TWO GUYS for auto work. Seriously. ANYWHERE.

Thes people saved my day.. They really did.
My girlfriend did a stupid thing. she took my bosses car then bottomed out the car and damaged the transmission. These guys were the only ones I would even think of taking the car to anyway because of how they helped me out before..
Being we were in a pretty serious situation, I told them to just do what needed to be done, even if it meant a whole new transmission.
Well,, three hours later I was told it was done, and all we needed was new pan that holds the fluid which only cost $110.
We were able to get the car parked in the same spot without him knowing.

5 Stars: I've got a good feeling about this place (by robbyross)

I am a collector and shiper of classic vehicles, both european and American.
So, unfortunatly over the years I've seen some shady places before that treated my cars poorly, and of-course over charged especially the dealers.
So, thats why after visiting Two Guys Autoplex, I needed to write something good about these guys.
When I first went in , It was for a hand wash on my 65 mercedes.
While I was there I spotted an old cobra. that they were restoring. I had been looking for that car for years. You can immagine my interest, but I was asked not to go to close to the car, which I highly respected. If it were my car , I would ask the same.
But anyway, I was very impressed with the high level of concern and professionalism they had with the work that was being done on each of the cars that wwere there, and how sincere they were when handling there customers.
After a few visits of seeing the same, I met with the owner and requested for Two Guys Autoplex to take care of all my vehicles. Mind you, I rotate aproximately 75 cars a year.
Well, I'm glad I found them, and that their here in the nieborhood.

5 Stars: Different from the rest (by peterpip)

I found myself stuck in a lousy situation one day, pushing my car off that lovely BQE they call a highway..
I did'nt want to call the last place I went because of the bad experience I had before.
Thats not something I expected to ever hear from some auto repair shop.
There really are honest people out there. You just have to look for them.

I came here with my boyfriend's car trying to replace a part. We left a deposit and was told the part would be here in 2 days. it took 5 days for it to get there. ok, a little late no problem. Then we were told that the part that he ordered was triple the original price agreed on, and it wasnt even all of the parts. There was an additional part we had to order that was extra. A week later we come to try to talk to him, the part still isnt there! 2 weeks after the original deposit. We asked for the deposit back he started to curse and become disgusting. BEWARE. HE MIGHT TALK TO YOU NICE IN THE BEGINNING BUT HE WILL RIP YOU OFF IN THE END. never got m deposit back, but got the part for 1/3 of the price online. NEVER GO HERE!

I cant say enough about how cool these guys are.
I've had many problems with my car in the past.
Other shops have quoted me $1500.and more for the repair they say were needed.
When I pulled into Two Guys Autoplex the mechanic heard the problem right away, even though the hood was down.
He told me exactly what was needed and that it would cost $175. for parts and $50 for the labor. A lot better than those other quotes.
The owner said it was no problem they would have it done in an hour if I'd like.
So, I went with it, and the car drives great.
They even gave me a free car wash

1 Stars: Arrogant and Overrated. Awful experience (by Joepublic)

I went there based on all these great reviews. Boy, was that a mistake. Please read on:

I needed my car inspected for NY emissions. The woman on the phone told me it would take 10 minutes and that the mechanic would be in at 9AM. I was there at 9AM. Unfortunately, the "boss" decided to park his nice, sparkling BMW in the garage bay the night before where I needed to park my car for the inspection. And because he was the "boss man" no one knew when he would come in to move his flamboyant piece of sparkling garbage, if at all. I said, "I'm a customer. Let me call him to ask him if he plans on coming in to his business toady." The reply? With terror in their eyes, "Oh, no. He's the boss man. He comes in only if he likes. You can't call him." So, I went two doors down to a place called SC Truck and Auto Repair. FANTASTIC. Ask for Sabby. He's the owner. A wonderful man who inspected the car himself in five minutes. That's the place to go for any repair jobs. So, I say, "Thanks Mr. BMW Arrogant 'Bossman.' You helped me find a mechanic for all my needs and you lost business all in one egotistical swoop. Well played.

5 Stars: Terrific in every way! (by Susan L.)

Based on the previous great reviews, we had our car washed at Two Guys today - and we were VERY impressed! For only $8, they did a terrific job - and that included carefully vacuuming the car's interior. The guy who runs the place was extremely friendly, and all of the workers were very thorough. Highly recommended!

5 Stars: Professionals (by anna k.)

Two Guys Autoplex is one of the only shops around that I've seen the customers handled the proper way, with professionalism Everyone is taken care of within minutes and then explained what the problem is, in detail. It's amazing just watching them.
I had gone in the day before new years, but it was really late,
and they were so busy. I guess everyone had the same Idea,
to take care of the car before the long drive. But, within 15 minutes from the time I walked in, my car was taken and I had the opportunity to explain the symptoms, and It was there with me present, under the car and all, they checked the car and showed and explained everything. It was so interesting.
They are fast, and thorough. No joke, these guys are really on the ball.
While they made the repair that was needed, I was able to get some work done. They have tables, coffee and Internet access. It was as if I was in some Internet cafe.
Unfortunately in some other places the service is just not there and the people are so rude. You have to wait so long and when you finally get taken care of, it's more like some rush deal where nothing was really done to your car, but you get a bill as if they spent hours on it, like some dealers who claims to be such professionals but treat you like the assembly line your car was first made on,
But Two Guys is a shop I feel comfortable in so many ways.
They make that part of my life, so much easier..

5 Stars: Just Great (by lenny l.)

There are many great things to be said about this place.
Their just such fine people, who I've found, to be interested in the customer their needs and making sure the car is in tip top shape.. I mean, you have to see these guys move. Its amazing, they just don't stop. You'll never see these guys sit.Anyway, forgive me, but I would like to take a moment to point something out to the public. There a seem to be a huge injustice here on this site, by them allowing this Jack person to post complete lies about these swell guys..I truly believe that the review I speak of, had been written by a competitor. Some other shop that is may be so upset over the fact that Two Guys Autoplex is out there trying their hardest to please the the public, while the other shops are screwing them.I go there for everything, and there is nothing I ever disliked about their service, or pricing..Some things I cant tolerate, childish things like this. Where there may be others who for some strange reason are some what sympathetic to childish and imbalanced raving lunatics, but come on people, demented individuals should not be entertained.Look, its simple you have a right to post what ever experiences you may encounter with an establishment. But keep it to just that.
What that Jack person wrote was a down right lies which he has nothing to base it on.
So tell me Jack do you really believe you would be able to hurt in any way, such good people that have such an outstanding reputation, by trying to spread some ridiculous teenage lies.
Your just pathetic, if you ask me.

5 Stars: I'm glad I found them (by Annaania)

I'm new in Greenpoint. and its hard not knowing the area.
One day my car was acting so funny. It was stumbling and stalling. I was able to make it to the nearest shop, fortunatly it was Two Guys. Because it was after waiting just about 15 minutes for them to check the car that I was told the car was done, and all that happened,,,I was running out of gas. They went and got gas for me and started the car.
I couldnt believe it.. I was so embarrassed that I had forgoten to go to get gas.. I didnt know what to say, other than how much do I owe you, they said only the gas.
Well, I felt at the time I definatly needed to write something , but of couse, I FORGOT.
I guess not much had changed. Ha ha
I go there for everything now. They have taken care of my car in so many ways. I am really grateful. It's hard finding people you can trust. Thats why I'll never go elsewhere.
It turns out, these people are the best, in every way. Skillful, fast, honest and really nice guys.

5 Stars: Helpful people (by lenny12)

I have an old car which is all I have to get me bak and forth to work, and upstate on the weekends,
I havnt the money to invest in newer model, nor, much to put into this one.
The first time I had gone to Two Guy was quit funny. I was stuck on the expressway when Stephen
( the owner ) was driving by and chose to pushed me off the exit, to avoid me having to pay some companies outragous tow bill.
Well, to make a long story short, Stephen found the problem there on the street and fixed it. He found and fixed the problem so quick, he never charged me. He just asked to come check out his place some time, even if it's just for a car wash.
Well now I go there for all my services. I would go anywhere else.
The people at Two Guys Autoplex really have done well by me. They have good hearts.
If you see this guys,

5 Stars: These are the guys you want to see (by johnny10)

I would like to start by telling you that I can't say enough about these guys.
They are the most trusting people I have ever met.
I work for a company that as an accout with them. We have over 70 vehicles and these guys service them every day, from repairs to car washes
I'm there myself at Two Guy's Autoplex nearly every morning. And all I ever see is how they look to really assist anyone that ever comes in. I dont just mean service there vehicle, but they accually look to take care of the car the best it can be. One of the things I like about them is thier so straight foward.
They'll tell you just how it is, good or bad,. No sugar coating, no lines, in other words NO BS
They have always explained everything in such detail and have given me, and others that I've seen thier opinion on whether or not the vehicle is even worth repairing.

5 Stars: The only place I Trust (by Irinna)

I can't stress enough how much I care for this place.
I,, like many others, have delt with other places before. Them telling me to fix something and my car will last, but I pretty much got screwed, but those are different stories.
When I first went to Two Guy's, they were staight with me. Instead of being told to spend a ton of money on that piece of cr__.,
the guys told me they felt it really wasn't worth putting what would be needed into the car.
I felt then, someone was finally being honest with me. I'll tell you,, It's not so easy to find people like that, and I appreciated that.
Well,, They recommended what dependable cars to look at.
So I bought a car, and now I go there for all my services.
I couldn't be more thankful.
Thanks Two Guy's Autoplex

2 Stars: fast but sloppy glasswork (by Jimmy J.)

took my car here after someone broke my window. They had it fixed within 4 hours. When I got home, I noticed that no attempt was made to put the door panel together properly and my door lock no longer worked. The guy at the desk (through gritted teeth), asked one of his mechanics to look into it and did everything to ignore me the rest of my time there. It looks like it depends who they have doing your job, as the second guy paid great attention to detail. However, the fact remains that if they don't care about fixing very obvious issues that even the average Joe can spot, you might want to think twice before having them work on complicated things. Again, it's a game of roulette and you have no control over the expertise level of the guy they assign to your car. Pricing was not the worst. I wouldn't go back for any mechanical issues, as there are tons of other garages in the neighboring area and the odds of getting a bad mechanic are the same.

5 Stars: The best group of guys (by charlie c.)

This place is by far the best out there. In the past I've had to deal with the garbage other places have handed me. So,, I had been searching for a while for someone I can trust, and I was become a little discouraged. Well, there are people out there. It took a while to find, but now I wouldn't think of pulling into any other place than Two Guy's Autoplex. I feel more relaxed knowing that my cars are being checked out and repaired completely, by people who are honest about what needs to be done, and the price they give. I'm glad there around.

5 Stars: Trustworthy Mechanics in Brooklyn, NY---the best, if not one of the best! (by WilliamVelasco)

My 1999 Volvo S80 recently needed brakes replacement and other complex issues. I took it to Stephen, the owner, and he broke down exactly what was needed and a good approximation of what it would cost. He took it upon himself to request the parts and gave me daily updates. I dropped off the car on Saturday and it was ready by Tuesday evening (parts shipping delay). Needless to say my Volvo was returned to me in pristine condition...good work at a fair price, unlike several other mechanics I visited in Brooklyn and Queens. Stephen and the crew at Two Guys are down to earth, friendly and very knowledgable. In my business as a financial advisor, relationships are number one. Stephen and his dedicated staff has my business and I will refer my clients to him. Thanks to the staff at Two Guys. You guys and gals are the greatest.

5 Stars: Honest, hard working people (by henryh8)

Me and my wife go there once a week to wash the car, and oil changes roughly every 3 months.
Even though I always see them running from one car to the next, it never really occoured to me how honest and hard working these people are till about 2 days ago when my car died coming home from work.
I wasn't sure who to call till my wife sudgested Two Guys. When I had called them it was quite late, close to 7. I was told everyone was on thier way out the door, but Steve said he would be happy to come and at least look at the car and let me know what the problem was.
Well,,,, he checked the car and as funny as it seems he found that a squirel or some rodent had made a nest in the motor area and had chewed at some wire harness. At that point he said it wasn't necessary to tow the car. He just rewired the harness there on the street, then thanked me for calling him, and told me just to say hello the next time I washed my car or did an oil change.
Now,,,, you don't usually see appreciation like that from most people. In fact almost never.

2 Stars: Watch Your Price Skyrocket! (by aet)

Smooth operators who seem to be honest about problems but really mark up parts, in my case a radio, which I found online for 1/3 of what I was charged, plus installation. That will keep me from going back. The car was delivered to me about six hours after it was promised with nary a call to tell me not to waste my time coming to pick it up after telling me not to call -- it would be ready.

I'm not a person who normally finds myself raving about yhings, certainly not writing some review, but here I found good reason.
I first found Two Guys back about 3 years ag, and I seen them to be honet and hard working people.
It wasn't until the last 4 months that I saw just how much.
I had been having a problem with the dealer covering the warrantty on my other car.
Now,,, the dealer said it was a 1600 dallor repair that wasn't covered, but Two Guys haad found that it was only a valve problem that would only cost about 250, even after I had told them of the dealers findings and price. Needless to say,, they fixed the problem and I was happy.
The point is, they had every opportunity to crew me, but didn't choose to.

I'll make this brief.
Two Guy's Autoplex has got my buisness for good.
They have my trust and loyalty.
Why,,,,because thats what they have shown me, time and time again
I have a buisness in Greenpoint myself, and we have a fleet of 14 vans and 7 cars that are pretty much abused by my lovely drivers that don't care, because it's not thier car. I don't need any other headaches. So,, Thats why Two Guys are the only ones I'll have touch my fleet, from services to major repairs.
I've seen some of the sh-- the other places try pulling, and I won't allow that to happen again.

This place is the worst place ever to get your car fixed! I wouldnt even refer my worst enemy there!!! This short guy Steve is such a *********, its unbelieveable! He tells me all these sweet stories to my ear to get me to leave my car to get it done so he can collect my money and leave and not do the good job on my car. My car was dropped off at 8 am and i was told it will be done by 1, but when i called at 12:30 to see if its being done, the girl said that noone is working on my car and its still in the same place when i dropped it off. so how do you call that good service if they expect to replace a smashed window, changing the radiator and fluid service in 30 minutes?? He promised me 1 o'clock and there its close to that hour and nothing has been done! i am so disappointed because i got recommended there but i highly recommend the people across the street because they promised me a certain time and it go done!!! DO NOT GO TO TWO GUYS!! THEY ARE LIARS AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! THE GIRL AT THE REGISTER DOESNT GIVE HELPFUL INFORMATION, GETTING PAID FOR NOTHING, STEVE IS NOTHING BUT A LIAR AND AND THE GUYS DOING THE JOB ARE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! WHERE IS EVERYONE?? FORGET THIS PLACE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASE!!!!

5 Stars: Exceptional (by charliec3)

I just moved from Manhattan into Greenpoint, and I'll tell you, it's a pain having to find new places to shop or to have services done, like, laundry, dry cleaning, or even car servicing. I found Two guys though a friend who highly recommended them. Well,, it was great advice. After my experiences there, I really wouldn't look to go anywhere else. Iv'e been to many repair facilities before, but not quite like this one. Their far different from the rest. They treat you with respect, and they really look at the customer being the most important part of the buisness. I found them to be honest, and not just looking to make a buck.
After explaining my busy schedual, they offered to pick up the car from my house, which most places won't bother to do, had done the services needed, where then, I was able to pick it up on my way in from work.
I'll just say, Their Exceptional.

2 Stars: So far not good (by sweetgoodby)

I called two guys to get an estimate on how long and how much fixing my bumper would take. I was told by the girl answering the phone that nobody could talk to me and I should try back in an hour to talk to her manager. Apparently the shop has been open for 4 hours without a manager and nobody could even let me know if I could bring it in to get checked out. I'll try again but I've never called a repair shop to find out that nobody could say anything and there was no manager left in charge.

5 Stars: Quality service (by andrew a.)

This place is pretty good. I came out of my house on Thursday to find some kid breaking my glass to steal my radio. After the ordeal with the cops I called a couple of glass places only to find out outrageous prices, until I called Two Guy's, were I found a more reasonable price. When I had gone there I was surprised, I lived in this neighborhood for three years but never even knew they were there. They took care of everything I needed done on my car, not only the glass. They do everything there, even NYS inspections. Mine was expiring in a week, so they took care of that as well, did my oil change, change one tire that was bald, then gave me a free car wash. Not bad. I'm glad I found this place. No more running around like a mad man looking for an honest shop.

5 Stars: Pleasent place (by Barbara0705)

I must say, I havn't been to a repair shop that had such friendly people, and they make you so comfortable. They have a lounge area to wait, along with internet service and printer use. It's just a nice atmosphere.
I was so happy to be able to finish up the work I thought I'de be doing once I went back to the job.
I passed the inspection, and they gave me a free car wash, but the best was, I was told there wasn't anything wrong with my car, that the burning smell I experienced was simply a plastic bag that I must have ran over in the street was melting on the muffler. So they cleaned it off a sent me on my way.
I could imagine what the other place I went to before that's up the street from them would have told me.
I've been though that before. Not pleasent.
I would highly recommend Two Guy's.

5 Stars: Awsome (by andrewson)

An awsome place with awsome people to have your car worked on. I've gone a few times to have my Volvo taken care of, and they really took care of it.
Before, my vintage vehicle,,, well maybe not vintage, but just really old car was nothing but a rattle box that hardly ran, due to having,,, I admit, over 200,000 miles of abuse.
I didn't think anyone could do anything with this thing, but Two Guy's got that piece of garbage running really smooth, and rattle free.
What I like the most was they were straight with me about everything. They even sudgested I go with certain used parts, being the age and milage the car has. The other parts they had given me name and number of the European parts warehouse that they ordered from so I can order things myself in the future.
These guys are really cool.

5 Stars: best service (by ViraRus)

I've been all over the city, and never seen a place quite like Two Guys Auto.
I first went, only after experiencing some other shops BS.
I was in diar need of a repair shop that was honest, and it was Two Guys that showed me honesty still exists.
They had shown me where the other shop had tried ripping me off, after explaining everything they had made the repairs, and only the repairs that were needed, as well, charged me only a third of what I was quoted elsewhere.
They're great Guys.

Thanks again Two Guys

1 Stars: Avoid Avoid Avoid. (by Bulf)

Don't go here, plain and simple. These people are the typical slimeball auto mechanics you hear about in car repair horror stories. They will take you to the cleaners for all repairs/inspection/etc and act sympathetic while doing so. They aren't on your side no matter how much they smile at you.

All these positive reviews on Citysearch were obviously written by the owners or someone affiliated with the shop. They all have one review for the profile. Clearly, they are con artists, even when it comes to public profiles. People this manipulative should be put out of business and tried in court.

Finally, the car wash is nothing to write home about, there are thousands of other places in NYC to go to so I don't understand why you would waste your time/money at this place knowing the people are this shady.

5 Stars: Skillful and straight foward (by tompol)

I can't get over fact that I found a place thats not only so skillful, but also honest and straight foward.
Really , I actually found this place by accident. After 2 other places not being sure of why my car was running like garbage, and had failed my inspection. I had seen an add in the paper for some repair place, so I headed out to get a now a third opinion, but, I some how mistakened the address and wound up at Two Guys Autoplex. It's there that I was explained what was actually wrong with my car, and the reason why those other places may have told me the BS they did.
Two Guys found tat the problem with my car was simply water in my fuel tank. They only charged me a small fee for draining the tank, thats it. And I passed the inspection.

5 Stars: Great people (by sniker)

I broke down leaking all this fluid yesterday on the BQE, and if anyone knows the BQE they know the slitest wind can back up traffic for miles. Well, I had everyone beeping and yelling at me, and I had no way off. I tried calling a tow truck, but everyone I called said they didn't have a permit to tow off the highway. So, I decided to call the number on the card I had taken from Two Guys Autoplex, where I usually do my oil changes. Stephen had answered the phone, and agreed to come and push me off the highway.
A real lifesaver. After getting the car to the shop, they found that I bottomed out my car and riped a hole in the transmission pan, and lost all the fluid. Easy enough they just replaced the pan and filled the fluid in an hour and a half, and I was out the door, all for $150. Nothing more, and,,,, I got a free car wash.
I just want to say Thanks guys, I deeply appreciate what youv'e done for me.

5 Stars: Convenient place (by monika k.)

A very convenient place. Drop off in the morning at 7:00am, pick it up at 8:00pm after work, somewhat like my laundry.Because, with my schedule, that seems to be the only time I have. What I heard, is they also offer a pickup of the car, which I haven't tried yet, but it may come in handy one day.The best is, they service and repair everything on the vehicles, they even do NYS Inspections. I've used their services about 5 times now and never any complaints. If anything I was quit pleased with how professional they run their place.

5 Stars: A nice bunch of people (by Agabeat)

I must say after speaking with the people at Two Guy's Autoplex, including the owner,
I saw right away that these guys are anice bunch. and that they acually care about the customer.
I've have never seen a place quite like this one.
Everyone I know says the same, that once a person meets and speak to the owner, they would quikly understand why, by seeing what a pleasant and helpful person he is.
See,,,, I'll be honest, my car is a real piece of #@&!, but unfortunatly, its the only thing I can afford at the moment.
The owner has helped me tramendously to keep that thing on the road, and for alot longer then I had expected too, but for not much money at all.
I just want to say, thanks guys!!!!, REALLY.

5 Stars: They took care of everything (by sylvia c.)

Unfortunately I came out of my house on Thursday and found that two pieces of glass on my car had been broken.I wasn't sure what to do being I needed to get to work, and I was to leave that night for the weekend.I had looked on-line then started calling places. Everyone claimed they couldn't find the pieces of glass for my old car, I believe the trouble of of finding it was to much for those other places. They told me they would have to order them from Italy, because they don't sell Alfa Romeo here in the US anymore, and that it would be extremely expensive to purchase and ship. But after seeing the great reviews on Two Guys Auto Glass,I figured I would call to see what they can do for me.Well, I'm happy to say, it turn out great, just like the reviews I read. They told me to drop off the car and being my car is so uncommon, that I should go to work, and they would call me with a price once finding it.After they called around the country, all within an hour I received a phone call saying they found it and it would be ready by the time I got out of work. And quite honestly, I was amazed with the price. It was priced as if it was any other ordinary piece of glass. Not bad at all.Two Guys Auto Glass,They went out of their way for me.

5 Stars: Execellent shop, 2 Thumps up (by darnell11)

Two Guy's Autoplex is the only shop I had ever seen that does everything imaginable on a car.
I recently had them convert my Volvo which was gas operated into a diesel. As well, they made the nessecary alterations needed to allow the motor to then run on vegetable oil. They also set me up with a supplier that will provide me with oil to that I can refine and use as fuel. These guys are really cool. Many other shops wouldn't even touch a job like this when I asked them, but Two Guys had done this type of work many times on alot of different cars. In fact they have a demo in the shop to show customers if interested. They even had gotten me the specific motor needed for the vehicle and made the convertion with no problem. The best was I as expecting a huge price tag on that job, but the price was really good. I was suprised.
Now, I can make my trips to California without worring about these outragious gas prices.
Thumbs up!!

I have been going to Two Guys fAutoplex for years now. They have always treated me and my car any of the repairs they have done with such proffessionalizm and honesty.
And I'll tell you, I would never go else where.
I unfortunatly made that mistake of going somewhere else before, due to a little disagreement over the way my car had come out of the car wash with ashphault tar still on the bottom. They did appoligize and washed my car again also in addition, offered to give me a free car wash for the next time. It was crazy of me to get so upset when all you guys wanted to do was help the situation. But maybe it was because I was having such a rough day to begin with. You didn't diserve the treatment I gave you. I'm sorry Guys!!!!!!!!
I just want you Guys to know I'm glad you were always there for me, and treated me with such a personal touch. Honestly!!!!!!

I have to say, that the peope at Two Guys are truely great in every way.
Iv'e been in and out of places for many years, but never found a shop I can really trust.
In most cases those weren't such pleasent times.
But when I entered Two Guys it was a different experience altogether.
Each of the people were so pleasent and straight up with me.
They had found the problem with my car just by listening to the motor, a problem that I've asked other shops to look into, but those other shop claimed it to be something else, which was'nt the case, because it never fixed the problem. But these guys pinpointsd it within seconds.
Not only that, but at first when I was still scepticle I had thought to seach for some prices over the phone to other shops before authorizing the job, but only to find that Two Guys Autoplex had accually been the cheapest around.
Well, I hav'nt had a problem with my car since. It does run GREAT!!!!!
Now,,,,, I would'nt go anywhere else. I must say, they have earned my trust , and now have me as a devoted customer.

5 Stars: My hat come off to these guys (by barbidoll)

I've never bothered myself with writing anything before about anyone, but after my extrordinary visit to Two Guy's Autoplex, I felt theres always a first for everything.
We just moved to Williamsburg and I've gone nuts looking for a place to bring my vehicles.
My husband and I have a buisness with a fleet of 14 vans and we also are collectors of classic and rare cars.
First time in I only needed an oil change. The service was great, but of course that isn't the reason for taking my hat off. But it was later getting stuck in the middle of traffic with one of my employee's cars that shouldn't even be on the road. I had pulled Two Guy's buisness card from my wallet, called and told of the situation. They came and picked me and the car up in 20 minutes, fixed what I was told to be a small problem in 15 minutes, then allowing me to return to the office in a total of 11/2 hour including travel time.
I was also astonished by the small amount that was asked for repair that was made. I had expected much worse, esspecially after paying those crazy Manhattan prices before.
I've seen that hese people are truelly honest in a way quite similar to an old family run buisness that also lives within the same community in which their customers live, and have a strong personal relationship with them. Something I haven't seen since I was a kid. They suggest and do only whats actually needed on the vehicle, and charge very little, I guess thats is the best way to gain and keep your customers, by beening honest with them.
I have now just signed a contract with Two Guy's Autoplex to service all my vehicles, both my buisness fleet, as well, my personal vehicles.
I gotta give it to them, they know how to treat and keep their customers.
HATS OFF TO TWO GUY"S AUTOPLEX!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought I would be taking the time out of my busy schedual to write a review about a place I've visited, but there's every reason to make such an exeption.
I've been visiting Two Guy's for about a year now. Like expected, at first I was sceptical.
I found that everything there is handle with such perfessionalizim.
They are so straight foward and honest, regardless, poss or neg. Maybe some people can't accept the truth or the way it's told. Some people might find this strange, but I see things alittle different, I think I would like to know everything about my car good and bad, if it needs repairs, or to be told if it's even worth repairing.
Anyway, just thought all you other people should know,
there are honest guys out there, Two Guys Autoplex.

5 Stars: Fantastic Service (by Sharon W.)

You can imagine the angst one gets when finding that their windshield has been shattered and to then to have to deal with finding a reputable repair shop. I found Two Guys Auto by scanning the yellow pages. The professionalism I experienced was wonderful! They're open early, the staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant as well. I've already begun recommending them to my friends and intend on going to them for regular car maintenance. So, I guess something good came out of having my windshield broken afterall.

5 Stars: My saviors! (by ad1978)

I've been looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic and I think I found them. They were really good about showing me EXACTLY what was wrong, and even trying to save me some costs where they could. (Its not their fault that I ended up having to spend all of my savings to get the car through inspection) They were the 3rd place I went with my 1990 Volvo, having been turned down every other place. Next time I'll be going there first. The extra special part was that they got all of this work done in one day! Honest and straightforward. Go there. They are great.

5 Stars: Real Cool Guy's (by steve p.)

I had a problem with my car, and of coarse I search for a place on line. Two Guy's Autoplex was one of the top places with the best reviews. So I drove in,,, well more like coasted in after my car die on the way there. There wasn't much hope for my car, at least I didn't have any. With all the problems that had been told to me in past from others, I expected the worst. Well the guys at Two Guy's pretty much told me there wasn't really much wrong with the car other than the fuel pump that caused the car to die out at times or not even start at all, and the oxygen sensor that was causing my engine light to come on the dash. The actually showed me all the other parts that were still good that some other place wanted me to replace. Two Guys cool place and straight up guys.

5 Stars: Two Guy's, awsome guys (by tuffcridik)

The idea of get my car looked at, and possibly needing repairs alway worried me due to past experiences many other repair shops.
But when I brought my car into Two Guy,s I began to feel more and more at ease.
It all started when I had been hearing a terrible noise in the motor and was then told by some other shop in Williamburg, that indeed my car needed a new motor which would cost approxomitly $3200.00, I was bit sceptical, maybe because it really bothered me to have to spend that kind of money. At that point, I had gotten a second opion. The problem with that was, I made a mistake by telling them the first shops diagnosis. Well, I don't need to tell you I was then looking for a third. My then had sudgested to bring the car to Two Guy's Since she had inspected her car 3 weeks before.
Well, I was so gratful to hear it wasn't the motor making all that noise. It was a cracked fly wheel, which is between the motor and the transmission. For $400 it was fixed. What was really funny was, they told me that some people may confuse that particular noise for a bad motor. I felt embarrassed to tell these guys what happened to me at the 2 other shops, so I kept my mouth shut.
But if they read their reviews, I'm sure they'll spot this, and may have a laugh or two. But thats OK.
If you guys do see this, I THANK YOU.very much.

5 Stars: My new place (by vivian c.)

I just moved to brooklyn 8 months ago, finding myself searching for everything all over again, like a good dry cleaner, health store, restaurants. If it wasn't for citysearch I would be going in and out of stores all day.But I'm not here to review citysearch. I am here to speak briefly about a place I had found to service my car.I must say that all the positive reviews I've read about Two Guys Autoplex is true. I had seeked their help after finding their great reviews on citysearch. They were more than helpful, they were real people, not like other places I've been to in the past, including a couple in willamsburg.I needed a NY state Inspection and no other shop would give me one without trying to hit me up for few hundred dollars.I don't have the money right now, so I looked online.Found Two Guy's and drove in. Best choice yet. They pointed out a couple of minor things, but they said I wasn't anything to worry about. Well the story goes that I got my Inspection and a free car wash, but most importantly a place I can trust and rely on. When I have the money I'll be visiting them for many different things I've been looking to do, like finally doing that oil change that my father keeps bugging me about, and maybe have them detail the car while their at it. It's really filthy. Thanks Guys.

5 Stars: Thank you for everything (by lenago)

Hello, I just thought I would share with people my opinion about Two guys Autoplex.
The have been there for years, and fortunatly, I have been going there for years.
I guess I have always taken it for granted that there was a place I can go to, and they always do the right job, with never any problems.
The reason I chose to write this now after all these years is, I broke down the other night.
I had thought I was left with no choice but to have some other place take care of the the problem, because of where I was stranded.
I see now I should have looked at my other options.
Because the next day when I showed my mechanic at Two Guys what some other place did,
he had shown me something quite different.
He found they never fixed the problem, they didn't even change the part that they claimed to have changed, or what even should have been changed in order to fix the problem.
But then Two Guys found and fixed the problem.
A rotted wire was the problem. A lousy wire.
You believe that has never happened to me before, and I tell you, it will never happen again.

Two Guy's I hope you see this and I thank you for everything over the years.

5 Stars: Great Guys (by kamilkaa)

I had been going to Two guys for a car wash for months since I moved in the area. I never knew they take care of everything related to cars, like repairs, and bodywork ,until one day my car wouldn't start in the morning. I had no time ,and wasn't sure what to do, I needed to get to work and soon the car must be moved for alternate side. I asked a nieghbor what to do. It was funny , because he said get Two Guys, but I was'nt sure what he meant. I thought maybe he was saying to go find two guys, So, I'm thinking, for what.
To push my car. I thought where am I going to find two guys that would be willing to push my car, and where then would we push it . After asking a few people, I then began to understand what they were saying. TWO GUYS............ I felt so embarassed, Then the people had told me where it was, and one lady even had the number. She told me that Two Guys would take care of everything, and not to worry. Well, they were right. Two Guys came, picked up my car within 10 min, and had the car running in about 20 min. The problem turned out to be water in an electrical idem due to the heavy rain the night before. I was suprised, they didn't charge me much at all. But what I was really suprised is, how well known Two Guys are in the area, and how many people were so quick to say get Two Guys. Now there phone number is in my cell.
Thanks again Two Guys

5 Stars: My kind of guys (by asia1984)

I'm not sure what to speak of first, but I feel the need to let people know of my experience at Two Guy's Autoplex.
I had purchased a car in march of 07, from some dealer in New Jersey, that was nothing but problems from the day after I bought it. I had stoped in three places that told me it would cost in the thousands to repair, and of course, they tried pushing me to repair the problems.
One day after breaking down, I walked in to Two Guy's for assistance, were Stephen had walked back to the car with me and four of his employees to push the car to the shop.
They looked the car over, than sat me down and explained what the problems were.
There were many problems with that car.
I was told by Stephen that it wasn't only worth putting money into car, but that I wasn't responible for the repairs. I was told to get in touch with the dealer who sold me the car, because not only is there a warrantee, but also the dealer sold me an unsafe vehicle.
After fighting with dealer for 3 weeks and not getting anywhere, I returned to Stephen at Two Guy's to ask his opinion. At Two Guy's I was given a detailed invoice of everything wrong with the car along with pictures and his explaination of how this occoured, how long it had been a problem and showing that the dealer must have been aware of the situation and what they did to try and cover it up.
If it wasn't for that letter Stephen wrote I wouldn't of seen a dime from the dealer. It was that letter and pictures that I presented to the court that awarded me the money to repair the car.
Ofcourse at that point I had returned to Two Guy's to have the repairs done, were they were accually able to do the job for nearly half of what I was awarded from the court.
I speak of these guy's highly, everyone of them are great.
Stephen knows the cars like the back of his hand, and will give you a detailed explaination on what, how and why of every issue he speaks of.
They have my trust and patronism.

5 Stars: Truely number 1 (by krzys)

My expierence at Two Guys Autoplex has been nothing but great, allthough I had experienced something similar to the last reviewer concerning the credit card machine, because I also was asked to pay by cash, because of the fact the mashine was out of service. But out of all the years I have been going there, it happened maybe twice.
I underestand things like this happen at times.
Certainly, this is no fault of theirs, it is just that some customers may not care for what their believe is such an inconvience.
As far as the quality of work, and honesty , remarcable!!!!!!!!!!
I have been visiting Two Guys for a number of years and I found them be outstanding in every sevice they provide. I have also found It to be the only place that takes the time out to explain in detail the problem, cause and repair or maintenance needed,as well the preventive measures to take.
Truely the best place around. Take it from me, unfortunatly I have had some bad experiences with other places before.

5 Stars: Best service in town (by tomcrom)

Great service, very knowledgeable people. I have been through many repair shops recently and nobody could fix my car I only spent a lot money. Two Guys fix it in few hours for just fraction of money other had been asking. I was very pleased with service (make sure you ask for Steve - he knows a lot about cars and its problems). Highly recommended shop.

5 Stars: One in a million (by pizzo)

I had been to many repair shops over the years trying to keep up on the services that may be needed
on my 1988 Volvo. When pulling in to most of those shops I had gotton the impression all they were looking for was a quick buck. In some cases without doing anything at all. The experiences were a nightmare, with a huge expience.Shortly after one of those horrable visits my car broke down. It bothered me to tow the car, in fear of showing such desperation on arrival. During my contemplationI, I had call a friend who has been going there for years, and that pretty much demanded me to bring the car to Two Guys. I can tell you now, that was the best choice ever. When I got there they were very busy, but everyone was so cool. They took the car quick, and after just hearing how the car sounded they knew the problem and told me not to worry, that it was something small. It was funny, because he saw I was nervous, so he even said that the expience doesn't even come close to what the tow cost me. They also had found that the repairs the last shop claimed to have done, weren't even done, and wasn't even necessary. Maybe thats why the shop before never did it, but they charged me for it.
I know my car is old ,but right now I am not in the pssition to buy a newer one. So, all I needed was to find a place I can trust, that would take care of my car and be aware of any faults that may cause a ny problem in the future. I wasn't so sure I would even find such a place until now.
Well, thats about it.
AAAAAAA, I feel much better now, I don't need to worry about where to go any longer. That I found an honest place, and that, after all this, I was able to give something in return.
Two Guys truely appreciate everything.

                     Thanks again,
Pizzo

Stephen and the guys will not steer you wrong. I have never had anything but good experences with them, they are frendly, knowledgable, and HONEST.
