Adventureland Amusement Park

I have to admit, every time I come here, I walk home with a smile. Located about 45 minutes from NYC, adventureland offers rides, games, and entertainment for all age groups (but mainly for the younger set). The rides are cute, but nothing on the scale of your large amusement park. Parking is OK, but you will have to pay. Be careful of coming on the weekends, as traffic to farmingdale can be insane.

I have two kids and this is the perfect place to go on a nice day to get them all tired out. They have many rides, even for small children and the lines are NEVER too long like most parks. I even went here as a child growing up on long island and now my children love it. Prices are great as well! No having to buy tickets and all that stuff, just buy a bracelet upon entering and you are good to go for the rest of the day.

PROS: Perfect day get away! Great rides for all ages and no tickets to mess with.

Adventureland is the long standing favorite amusement park of Long Islanders. This great place has a POP (pay one price) admission policy- which is great if you are a riding maniac! You can stay all day and night, and keep on going. The rides are fun and there is somethign for everyone from very calm rides to scary crazy ones. There is an arcade also, for when the rides just are not enough. Great fun!

Adventureland is your average smalltown amusement park. They have a few rollercoasters and bigger rides, but not too many. The park is not very big, and it could get crowded at times. I am not crazy about the quality of the rides, especially after 2 fatilities there in one week during the summer. If you want to have your birthday party there, it would be fine, but it's nothing spectatular.

Its not Disneyland, but Adventureland does offer something for everyone, being its small size. Its been around for years, but still offers good entertainment with a decent mix of rides and games for all ages. They have made some upgrades in the past few years, adding more thrilling rides and also more kiddie rides. Its a very clean, safe park to visit, and its great to have something like Adventureland on LI at our disposal. The prices are in line with comparable parks, and the location could not be beat--centered on LI. Again, its not the biggest park in the world, but its a lot of fun to visit. I cant say much about the food though, as I have never tried it, but the rides are decent, the lines are not long, and again, the prices are competitive.

PROS: Decent rides, no lines usually, fun place to visit
CONS: Small, lacking in roller coasters

Adventureland is a great place for families. We love to take our kids here when we dont want them running around something the size of Six Flags. There are lots of great rides for my younger kids. At the same time, my older one can find things to do with her friends and I rest assured that they really cant get in trouble.

There are thirty rides and attractions here. Its a great place to spend a hot summer evening. The tickets can be a pay one price wristband or a book of tickets. The tickets are good when were not sure whether we will have to ride some of the rides with the kids or not.

A place where all can find something to do and ride.
You can bring your family and there is something for all ages. Its a pay one price and they can ride and ride and ride and it won't kill your budget. It's a large park, but not nearly as large as Great Adventure, so it's not overwhelming. Its well fenced in so it would be hard to loose kids.

PROS: Something for everyone!
CONS: Some parts of the park are showing age

We brought my two year old here and weren't sure if there would be anything for him. There are a TON of rides for the little ones as well as the older kids and adults. You can either pay one flat admission fee if you are riding the rides or just buy tickets. Those not riding can get in for free. You are better off buying the one all day pass it comes out to be cheaper especially if your kids are like mine and want to go on the same ride over and over.

My kids love Adventureland. It is the perfect place to bring them when you don't want to go to one of the larger amusement parks that are a long distance to drive.

Adventureland is a small amusement park in Farmingdale, however, it offers big family fun. I would recommend it for children 14 and under. Anyone over 14 may not find the rides exciting enough. As a child I went to over 12 birthday parties here and had the most fun. The small park allows you to keep a close eye on your children. I highly recommend it for a family outing or birthday party.

this amusement park is great for all ages. the children's birthday parties I have attended have been done so professionally. The miniature golf course is great. They are open late.

each ride feature. there are many rides that are made for family and kids to go on together
