Hosted my birthday at Katwalk this past Sat, because of a friend?s recommendation and had a great time. The hostess (Mariah) was a doll, all of my guest got in without any issues. The DJ was solid, good mix of tunes. No cover, good music, free tables, I wish more places were like Katwalk!! :)

This place had some of the best service, epecially for lounges/clubs were the service is noramlly aweful. The Manager, hostess, bartenders & even the doorman were nice. The Doorman actually said 'HAve a nice night' while we were leaving. We were in shock! :)

The DJ did great mixes & scratches. He really knew how to read a crowd. I heard he spins at Studio Mezmor as well.

Definitely one of the better after-work places in midtown. The bartenders are real friendly. Michelle thanks for taking care of me! Will be back soon!

I heard some many good things about this place, so I decided to book my birthday party. Overall it was a very good experience, as promised all of my guests got in with no cover and we received FREE tables. The DJ was very good, played a good mix, service was fast. The place can get crowded though.

I was told by Katwalk when I was booking the party, that they are like the big clubs without all the BS & I would have to say after going there it is true.

I had my bday party here last year, and loved the place. Charlie definitely took care of me, amking sure there was an area for my 20-30 guests. We had a complimentary bottle of champagne, and the overall experience was wonderful. Had a great party there, and all my friends enjoyed it.

Katwalk was recommended to us by the folks at Keens Steak House. We decided to check them out and had a blast. The crowd was fun and the service was surprisingly good for a lounge. It is a nice find for the mid-town area.

Rock? in time at Katwalk! Went to by buddy?s bday party & had a blast. It is a clean place & seems to be run pretty well. The door scene for a Sat night was easy and hassle free. I was met by a friendly hostess who directed to my friend?s table. The DJ was very good as well, he played a good mix.

First time there last Wednesday... was invited by a few friends to meet for just after work drinks and I had so much fun I had to cut myself off at midnight. The crowd was awesome, no idiots... just friendly people looking for a good time. At the bar I didn't have to ask for my next drink, it just magically appeared. We moved from the bar to one of their loungy tables and our waitress was all over us too. Great people, great scene and I will definitely be back this week!

Good times for all!

Had my bday party at Katwalk this past Sat. and had a great time. We were given everything as promised: NO cover, no table charges. The best part is we did an open bar deal, we got one free open bar bracelet for every 20 guests. So I & my girlfriend drank FREE for 3 hours! Nice! The DJ, who I heard plays Crobar on weekdays, was awesome and he knew how to mix it up and keep it fresh!

Went to Katwalk for a movie screening and it was very good. They have these 2 big screens and 3 other screens for watching movies. It was a beautiful space. I am thinking of hosting my birthday party at Katwalk now!

Let me start by saying both the DJ & the service was awesome! We had a VIP table and we were taken care of all night. We got everything promised to us & then some. The balloon ball drop was great & it was not too crowded, so you could really enjoy yourself!

This place is worth checking out!

We came in and asked be seated, the bartender said that we can only sit at the bar because it was a private party. Ok fine, we set at the bar and wanted to order food but we couldn't because the kitchen was closed. We later saw two guys eating and asked again, a different bartender said the kitchen was only open for the private party. The place was empty!! 90% of all tables free. I say if you want to close the place down, close it and don't let in non private party patrons. Drink were ok, they had beer on tap which was good. I wouldn't recommend just because they don't treat people fairly.

I had my birthday party at Katwalk and it was great!. All my guests got in with no issues, the DJ spun a great mix, the crowd was good. This place is a great alternative to the big club scene. '

If you are looking for a hassle free time on a Fri or Sat night, I would recommend this place & I am not an easy girl to please! :)

This was my second Saturday night in the past couple of months, that I have been to Katwalk & this place rocks! The DJ is awesome, no BS door scene like at the meatpacking clubs and the staff is very nice.

This place is great after work due to its great happy hour spicials, delicious appetizers, cozy decor and fun environment. It could be both romantic and fun depending which area you're in. They have really comfortable seats along the wall, or just join in the roudy fun by the bar. There's a second floor for the ones who wish to do some dancing. There's also a bar upstairs, great if you have a large group. Tasty drinks, they are not the water down happy hour ones must bars give you. Convenient location.

This is a great place to chill with co-workers and let loose. I have been to Katwalk?s happy hour a dozen times or so & ithey always delivers. The FREE coat check on Thurs & Fri is a real nice bonus!

Decided to hosts my annual Halloween party at Katwalk. We were a party of 30 and did the $40 pre pay option. We had no issues getting in and the crowd was great. It was crowded but it did not take long to get drinks. As the manager promised me when we booked, there were plenty of bartenders. I have to agree with one of the reviews, the DJ was AMAZING! He really got the place jumping. This was my fist time at Katwalk and was pretty impressed and I am now considering them for my NYE party.

I have to admit, this was one of the best Halloween parties I ever attended. It was easy to get in & the DJ was AMAZING! I almost won the sexiest girl contest - $300 CASH :). But I will win it next year.

Me & the girls from work checked out SAC Wednesdays & had a great time. How can u NOT with a $4 martini & viewing SAC shows. It is all good!

Katwalk is a good place to go if you're looking for a chill, low-key Friday night. Music is decent, the crowd is young and in their mid-twenties, the bar is crowded as hell but, it's not the kind of stuff dreams are made of. I would make it a Plan B if you're in the neighborhood.

+ Convenient to 34th street transportation
+Trendy for just around the corner from the Empire State Building
- Food is slow, not very tasty and overpriced for what you get
+ There really is a Katwalk overhead with dancers included. Reminded me of a strip joint in a way, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless!
- Not the most spacious venue

I had my bday party at Katwalk and everything went fine. I read some reviews about plastic cups.

But we had glass and the service was great! Definitely not your typical NYC lounge, this place has no attitude and the DJ was awesome. I will be back.

After reading the raving reviews about this place, I was very excited to throw my bday at this place. Fortunately I had a friend who decided to throw a party there before me...and boy was I glad to see this place for myself. First of all, the drinks are served in plastic cups - OMG the last time I was served a drink in a plastic cup was at a frat party. Second of all, the womens bathroom has ONE stall - that is ONE stall...meaning that the line is INSANE, and its so cramped in there, that I had no desire to go in there. I didnt go upstairs, and Im not underming the accomodative owners who I heard were very nice, BUT there is ALWAYS a catch. This is obviously NOT on their website. In order to rent the room upstairs, you have to guarantee $1500 for a 3 hour party BEFORE midnight, and $2000 for a party after midnight. Now, i dont know about you, but unless you're ordering bottles....2000 is a hefty minimum to cover, unless you got some big spenders!!!! After going to this place...i definately dont want to have my bday here...becuase even if there is all this hype about this place, i really thought it was NOTHING special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Headed to the Katwalk for a friends bday & had a blast! The crowd was hot and the staff was very nice. Especially the hostess (I think her name was mariah?) was very helpful. Place does get crowded, but what good place in NYC is not crowded on a Sat night! :)

I also liked the DJ because he played a good mix of new & old.

Recently had a surprise 30th birthday for my boyfriend in the upstairs lounge....I couldn't have found a better place to have my party...Not only did I love the place, atmosphere, service, ect. my guests loved it too!!!!!!!!! There were no hidden fees, you got what you asked for and the staff was very friendly and accomodating....I would definitely throw another party there in the future...Thank You Katwalk for making such a memorable and fun night!!!

This is a very nice chill place. Went to my girlfriends bachelorette party and there was no door drama and the crowd was hot!. The staff was very accommodating, which was a pleasant surprise for a NYC lounge.

For some reason I have a friend that always insists on throwing parties at this place for her birthday and any other event that calls for celebrating. If you have to go to Katwalk, I suggest hanging out upstairs in the lofted area which is a nice spot for a private party. Other than that, this place usually puts me to sleep.

I have been to a lot of happy hours but Katwalk is truly one of the better ones. For a lounge, the staff was VERY nice, even the doorman! :) The drink specials, especially for midtown are great, $6 wines! I really have nothing bad to say about this place & would suggest it to anyone.

Went to the Childrens Cancer Fund event this past Sat and had a great time. It is a really nice space and the DJ was excellent. My 2 cents: it is worth checking out or hosting an event. The door scene was easy and the doorman was even nice!

Went to Katwalk this past Sat & it was pretty cool. The door scene was easy & the girls inside were hot and the Kat dancers were even hotter! The DJ was really good too, not one of those DJs who just blast music. He knew how to read the crowd.

Decided to host my boy friends 25th bday at Katwalk & am I glad I did. The private room is beautiful and we had FREE apps all night! The DJ was also awesome. I would recommend adding Katwalk as one of your options for a private party. If you decided to call them, ask for Charlie, he was great to deal with.
