Went to Kawtalk this past weekend, the place is very nice. But the DJ really made the night for me. I heard he plays at Crobar during the week. Oh the no cover for guests of a reserved party was pretty kewl as well! :)

Myself & my girl friends went to Katwalk for their Valentine's Day Party. It was a lot of fun, the DJ was good, & the $5 tinis were even better :)

This place is a rip-off. My friend had a party there and they charged $35 a person for three hours of drinking. At the end of the night, they tried to charge him $2,000 for not bringing enough people and they closed earlly. Absolutely terrible

This place is off the hook! Went by with some of the guys from my desk. The girls are hot! The bartnders were cool (Jamie you at the best!). We will def be back real soon. Good stuff!

After reading other reviews on this site, I was excited to hit Katwalk. Boy am I sorry. the service was crap. The mandatory $3/coat wouldn't have been so bad if the lady hadn't tried to pick her own tip. For $13 a drink, the Katani's should be more than 3/4 filled up a plastic cup. We couldn't get a glass of water for my friend and had to buy a bottle (we got huffed at for wanting ice and a cup). The final straw came when I ordered a beer and the bartender flipped it from one hand to the other, popped the top and slammed it down on the bar. Predicatably, the beer bubbled out the top.
Oh and I won't even ask about the video monitors playing the sports illustrated swim suit video.

Setup my girl's bday party. Real easy, the reviews pretty much echo my experience as well. You get what you were told & the place is pretty drama free. Even the door guy (Wolf?) was kewl. I wish more lounges in NYC were this easy to deal with.

The management is cool if you decide to throw a private bash here, but without it the place can be pure garbage without a cover. The music varies but is decent for the most part. The Asian crowd seems to be really prominent at this club, making it less diverse and significantly more Asian. Its worth noting that this place has some extremely attractive go-go dancers lighting up the stage above.

I just had my b-day party here this past Saturday. My friends and I had sooooooooo much fun. We danced all nice (good tunes!!). Drinks were more pricey than I thought... but it was all good.
Setup with Charlie (the owner) was simple and easy.

My tips are: Make sure you get to the lounge when requested by Charlie. I arrived late and was told my reserved table was taken away; however, the platform area by the bar was setup for me and my guests which worked out fine. Also, make sure the guys follow the dress code (one of my guests couldn't get in because he had Tims). And the girls bathroom only has ONE stall...which is a kill joy after you break the seal.

While I intend the high marks to go to Katwalk based on their sparkling sound system and great choice of dj's--I thought maybe we just lucked out on a great night (it was a Fight Cancer fund-raiser and there were lots of beautiful people working the room to sell pink wristbands.) Still, the crowd was pretty wonderful, friendly and vivacious. Everyone wound up on JoonBug's website. We never made it up the stairs to the catwalk lounge area but plenty of guys were there watching the gals dancing in the aisles below. Drinks were well-made and not at all hard to get in a timely fashion. (Did I say "fashion"?) The clientele did seem to be mostly models and fashionistas. Although the place is small, it seems to have a big heart.

My friends & I had a VIP table. It was great! The place was not overly packed as they promised. We got everything that we were supposed to get. Crystal our hostess was awesome. I was truly impressed! The only downside was the coat check line. But I guess when several hundred people try to leave practically at the same time. There is not much that can be done :)

My girlfriends and I were constantly being hit on by the old guys there (old as in 35+to 50). We are 20 somethings and felt like the youngest people there by far. It was very packed and there were lots of singles there. It's a good bar. Nothing wrong at all with the establishment. In fact, the bartender and even the bouncer were the sweetest guys. It just wasn't the type of place the girls and I were looking for.

I had my birthday in last weekend and had an excellent time. I arranged with the management to have a section of the bar for just me and my friends and none of them paid a cover. This place is not super trendy and that is one of the reasons I liked it and we had so much fun. No pretension-which is rare to find in NYC. Now my friends are asking me about planning their parties there!!!

My birthday at Katwalk was a great experience. The manager promised my party a table and bottle service and took care of it immediately as we all arrived. The owner approached me and got us a round of shots. Overall everything was very accomodating.

I had a birthday party there and getting the space reserved was easy, there were other things that dampered the evening. First the waitress didn't know the drink or bar menu, and would take forever with any food or drink orders. Secondly, I was never given a cutoff time for my party but just got booted from the reserved area with no real explanation. Lastly, when I went to get my coat, they gave me the wrong coat. They finally let me go in to the coat closet and look for my coat, which ofcourse I found on the floor, in the company of many other coats. The drinks were good when we would finally get them and the music was excellent, but the service was certainly lacking. I would recommend ordering your own drinks at the bar and going when you don't need to check your coat.

I had my birthday party last Saturday at Katwalk and everything worked out perfect. The atmophere was great and the service was even better. Around 11pm the main floor started to get really busy, but thanks to the manager we managed to get a table reserved. This place is great if you want to avoid all the drama that come's with the bigger clubs. Drinks are not expensive and the music was good...

This place is the perfect compliment of style. From the most current music to the sleek decor. The staff is great and friendly. It is great to go to a place that offers a trendy seen and be treated as if you have been a regular for years. It was my first time at Katwalk but it won't be the last. Amazing martinis!!

Friday night, the extremely rude bouncer didnt let a 25 year old girl friend of mine in because he wouldn't accept her NJ drivers ID. He offered no explination and was distgustingly rude when we asked for one. He told us he didnt have time to explain to us why he wouldnt accept her ID but apparently did have time to explain to us that he didnt have time and was an ex cop,...we were VERY impressed.
As we stood there and and figured out what to do, we watched this misplaced cowboy bark at people trying to enter, leave or smoke outside. I can understand trying to keep order outside a crowded club/bar, but he took this too an extreme. He eventually let us in and we stepped into a human sardine can. We turned around and walked out without getting a drink and had a great night elsewhere.

No cover or attitude at Katwalk's doors. Its a good time and worth coming to for happy hour or late night drinks. The music at night is decent, typically ranging from pop chart toppers to hip hop genres. Highly recommend getting there early to get tables before the crowd makes it difficult to get through.

I decided to host my event at Katwalk based on their citysearch reviews. And Katwalk lived up to their reviews. There really is a manager named Charlie and he is really that good! Katwalk EARNED my repeat business. Keep up the good work guys and never loose sight of the customers needs.

I went to Katwalk Friday 11/04/05. This place is really nice, happy hour great, music good, buttt.....the bartenders are totally rude, 1 male in particular. he was nasty and obnoxious, a guy like this would make a place like this loose business, I was there with about 10 poeple, after the crappy service and rude comments he was giving us, we left and decided we should spend our money else where...

Wow! Bunch of us went to the Katwalk!|s Halloween party and had a great time! The dancers were great, the crowd was cool and the costume contests were a lot of fun (the audience decides which the way it should be!)

Went to Katwalk with some co-workers, our waitress, I believe her name was Mara was great. She checked on our table constantly. We even got a comp round of drinks. We did also spend some nice money! :)
Overall a very good place to go with a group, we will be back soon.

FYI.. check their dress code online or call. They keep a pretty strict dress code. Fine by me, keeps the garbage out!

There is a reason this place is always empty: It is horrible. I have been to Katwalk three different times with co-workers. Each time we left we always said the same thing: Why did we even bother. There are better places in the area, this is not one of them. Beware: rude staff, weak drinks and a dismal place. If you are going to eat, buy a hotdog at the Macy's cart and a beer at the corner deli!!

Great place to get a drink, mingle with good people, watch the big screen TV and listen to the music and receive great service. The bartenders were great and were constantly asking me if I needed another drink! We all have been to bars where the bartenders ignore you and have to order two drinks at a time because of the wait but not Katwalk. This is not a kiddie place and the clientele is dressed according. Best of all the people around me were friendly and open. Definitely will go back.

Just had my birthday party this past weekend. Inside tip: When you contact them to book your party, inquire on freebies. They gave me a complimentary bottle of Champagne just for having my party. The combination of the music and crowd you can't go wrong especially when there is NO COVER! It's certainly recieved my seal of approval.

I booked my bday party with Katwalk and they were great! There was one small issue, but they made good on it and I really appreciated the effort. They even called me a couple days prior to confirm my reservation & see if I needed anything else. Now that is a level of service that you do not get from NYC lounges!

I went to Katwalk last Thursday night with a bunch of my friends and we had a great time. The bartenders, Heather and Jamie, are HOT! They were very friendly and we never had to wait for a drink. We will definitely be back next Thursday!

Went to katwalk on a friends recommendation. This place is great! No cover, great drink & food specials. Awesome DJ & live dancers. It is not just a another happy hour place.
I believe they only have the dancers on Thurs night for after work, not sure though.
I would also recommend checking their dresscode online before you go. Unlike most places, thet try ot keep & safe & clean crowd!

I went to Katwalk this past Friday night. It is a nice looking space with an easy going staff. No cover & reasonable priced drinks. The Kat dancers were hot! I plan on checking them out during happy hour one day. I heard they may have the dancers during happy hour as well. That would be hot!

Went to b-day party there recently and figured the place would be hot. It was nothing to write home about. The place was half empty on a Saturday night and the bartenders some how forget to give you your credit card back after paying for drinks. Place is definitely overrated.
