Brunswick Woodhaven Lanes

Ok first off let me start out by saying this is one of my favorite bowling houses in queens when i was younger, Currently i bowl over at 34th, van wyck, and sometimes practice here but truthfully as a league bowler i hate the house I'm afraid to even use my ball half the time cause it usual comes back either with a scratch or gash from the damn piece of crap lanes the head mechanic doesn't take care of the lanes as for the desk-man there OK i don't have an issue with them and management i get great along with but i think if your gonna be a head mechanic at a bowling alley u might wanna learn something about bowling and keep you bowlers happy but this guy litterly hates bowlers he does nothing to repair the lanes the foul lights dont work for their lives so if you bowl a 300 its meaning less to usbc the lanes are horribly maintained you either get a 180 or a black out every 5 frames or if your lucky the scoring is just wrong on the brighter side for 1.25 a game you cant complain if your using a house ball but they should really fix the damn lanes until then i refuse to bowl there

this is the best bowling alle also if u want to come bowling come this on this is wear i bring my family on special day for special reson looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove can not stop loveing in it.

so many bowling alleys are being torn down ,, that is really sad. This alley is still around it is ok, leagues play here all the time so sometimes it is hard to get a lane. It is also hard to find a lite ball if you need it. The food is ok . But bowling is always fun especially when you go with your family anf friends.

This is a very big bowling alleys (probably close to 80 lanes). However I once had a problem at the lane that the ball kept getting stuck and not being returned. I had to call the attendant numerous times for ball retrieval. I've also bowled there and had no problems. So YMMV.

Dont really enjoy this bowling alley, the last time i was there , everyone was smoking and i could barey breathe and its always packed they dont have enough lanes, the price isnt that bad though. The people that work there arent great either, i woudnt really recommend going there at all.
