American Trash is what you'd expect from a neighborhood bar on the Upper East Side: Comfortably worn-in but non-threatening. Tough day on Wall Street? Madison Avenue got you down? There cannot be a more effective therapy than a Corona and a game of pool in an unpretentious hideout. The party music is perfect, running the gamut from "No Sleep till Brooklyn" to "School's Out for Summer." The place is "decorated" with a roadhouse-meets-garage-sale motif that sort of parodies a white trash haunt, but without any contrived kitsch. American Trash has a great menu, with amazing Pat La Frieda Burgers. Join us every Tues for Open Mike and every Wed night for Electric Mike Night with our house band Radio Flyer! Come one, come all for great happy hour & drink specials, birthday parties and more at American Trash!

This rocker bar on Manhattan's upper east side offers a nice grunge atmosphere in a neighborhood that tends to have mostly upscale establishments. It can be a lot of fun here, especially if you bring your own group of friends for happy hour. You might consider this a dive bar considering the pool table and decor.
