Conveniently located in the center of the Commons, Taste of Thai has a nice selection of various thai dishes. I really like the pad thai and thai iced tea there. If you don't like spicy food, make sure you let them know to make your food as mild as possible!

There are several Thai places to choose from, but Taste of Thai is my favorite. I think it delivers the best overall value when considering taste, quality, and price. The restaurant is located in the Commons. Dinner time is very crowded so definitely call ahead and reserve. The place has a good selection of appetizers and main dishes including all your classic Thai dishes. The prices are very affordable unlike, say, Thai Cuisine, where you will spend considerably more. Nice place to go out for dinner if you are looking for something casual. They also have a great lunch, which is much less crowded.

An Ithaca Gem

I love this place! It has the besyt Thai food in the area in my opinion. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a fantastic place for a date. If you don't know much about Thai food (like me), the menu has explanations of each dish. I highly recomment you try it.

Try the Thai

Definitely one of the places to try on the Commons. The standard pad thai is great, and so is the fried rice with cashews, pineapples, raisins and chicken (or tofu). If you have a sweet tooth, go for the thai tea - a very sweet treat almost as thick as a milkshake. It's a great place to go for a date or just a chance to catch up with friends, as the line out the door indicates.

The Best Thai Food!

For such a small town, it's amazing how many great restaurants Ithaca has. Taste of Thai is no exception. It is the best Thai food I've ever had, and the long lines that have begun to form at dinner time indicate that many others feel the same way. It's a great place for a date, a birthday celebration, or a family dinner. Don't miss the Tom Kha soup and the Rama Noodle - yum!!
