Paradise Natural Foods

Paradise Natural Foods is a GREAT store. The owners are so helpful and knowledgeable and they will go out of their way to assist you. They tell you the truth, not just to make a sale and they often show me the latest research available. I can always find what I need and their bulk foods are the freshest around because they package them and keep them in the fridge, not like the other stores where they have them in bins and people stick their hands in and touch the food all day long. It has a great atmosphere and I buy all my frozen foods, cereals, pet foods and vitamins there.

Paradise Natural Foods has a convenient location but not as good a selection as some of my other health food stores. I do go there quite often to buy my basics, but if i am looking for something out of the ordinary I usually start with a different store. They do have a lot but their shop is small so they can't carry the special things that don't sell regularly.

PROS: convenient location, knowledgable staff
CONS: limited inventory

This store is convienetly located on western Ave in Guilderland, and has ample parking in the back. Their selection is good, and items may be ordered if they are not available in the store. Although when special items are ordered you are usually required to order a whole case. This can be expensive- although you do get a 10-20% case discount. They carry health foods, books and vitamins as well. Their prices aren't the cheapest although they are convienent.

PROS: Knowledgeable staff
CONS: Prices aren't the cheapest, selection sometimes limited
