If one star is "EH", then they deserve a negative number. First off, they are the only game in town for an overnight emergency and whoever owns this place, which is, by the way, the same staff rotating back and forth from the Poughkeepsie

I have visited this clinic twice. I am sorry the other reviewers had bad experiences; its heart-breaking not to be able to pay for a pet's care. However they saved my cat's life, were sympathetic and extremely informative - everything I

I was surprised to read the negative reviews. I had nothing but a good experience at this clinic. Both the vet and tech were compassionate with me and my 12 year old pug who i brought in with a pinched nerve in his back, unable to use

In reading some of the prior reviews of the Kingston Animal Hospital, my sentiments are very similar. The support staff were fine and caring but the vet on duty left much to be desired. \r

Many issues and statements were made by the clinic, Kelly Tech, and Doctor on duty...Do you euthanize animals or not...if not do not threaten that you do to make a situation go the way you want...Listen to the owner, DO NOT PASS

A little later she then called us into the exam room. They were able to remove the kitten that was stuck without major surgery but knew that there was still an additional kitten in her that had died. They than informed us that for her

My name is Katelyn, me and my boyfriend were proud owners of two beautiful Persion/Himalayan cats. My one female cat became pregnant prior to the age of 1 years old. Yes, I should have gotten her neutered , that is something I will take

I was at the Animal Emergency Clinic and I was also told a technician was allergic to rabbits. I was able to have my rabbit treated within a short time. Unfortunately after 3 days under their treatment plan and a week with hospitalization

My family's pet rabbit was not just any farm rabbit, she was a part of the family. Biscuit (we know it was a silly name) had free range of the house, was potty trained, and hung out with the dogs as if she was one herself.

I can't sing the praises of Dr. Black enough. She was my original vet years ago and I found this emergency clinic through a neighbor whose dog needed immediate care several Christmases ago.

My dogs have been here on 2 occasions where my regular vet was unavailable and they received excellent care. The fees are very reasonable, considering the off-hours service; it's only a bit more than my regular vet charged.

As I mentioned before, a friend and neighbor had used this clinic early Christmas morning in 2006 and I accompanied her. It was so good to see Dr. Black again and I immediately told my neighbor that I was confident her dog would receive the very best of care. Dr Black was there round the clock on that Christmas holiday because an animal might have needed her. Need I say more about her compassion and concern? She puts animals first. Bravo!

Katie (our 14 lb Jack Russell) chased after a bear and was attacked. My husband first heard the noises from the bear, like a "snorting" and immediately after Katie's yelping and screaming. He hurried over to rescue her to find the 250 lb. bear was still standing there about 30 feet away looking at them.

We took her to Kingston's Emergency Animal Clinic where she received 3 hours of surgery Sunday night. Dr. Tully called us with the update at 3:00 AM, they actually had to remove a broken rib due to concern of puncturing her lung. She also had to insert a valve to remove air from her chest cavity that seeped in through the bite holes. With multiple puncture wounds, EVERYONE there was amazed how tough little Katie was to survive such an ordeal. The technician said she had goose bumps during the procedure -- surprised at how hard and strong Katie was fighting for her life and the Vet said she is literally amazed Katie made it through the ordeal!

After Sunday and Monday at the emergency clinic, Katie spent Tuesday night at our "regular" Vets. On Wednesday she was reported "doing better." We thought she was "out of the woods" and solidly on the way to recovery. Then our regular vet called back reporting her little heart could not longer take the trauma, with all her battling the fight was over and she left us. We had Katie for (only) 10 years...but they were very memorable and good ones! As a true family member we miss her dearly.

The staff at this outstanding emergency clinic, Dr. Tully, Dr. Black and Rachel were all so compassionate and gave Katie amazing care. They were extra attentive to her needs - communicating every detail of care provided. We can only wonder IF Katie had continued under this amazing clinics care would she still be alive? We even received a personalized hand written sympathy card from Dr. Tully! I highly recommend this emergency Animal Clinic for your injured pets in need of extraordinary care!
