My daughter and I recently paid a visit to Santa's workshop. We had lunch in Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. Lunch came to 12.86, to my surprise on Monday my card was charged 78.86. Since I signed the slip, not thinking I would be over charged and not able to visually verify the total I just signed and ate. I called the Santa's workshop on Monday and they told me there was nothing they could do since the slip did not indicated what I purchase-basically to bad and also said they were unable to check cash register receipt-Buyer beware!!!

Great place to take toddlers. The talking tree still has my older children laugh at their experience. This place will make older children wish they still believed.

We have visited North Pole N.Y. 3 times over the last 4 years its about 15 minutes east of Lake Placid N.Y. on Whiteface Mt. The first time was in the summer on a camping trip, we had a ball this place was kind of like a working museum it has been in the middle of a renaissance for the last 4 or 5 years as well as a thoughtful and well managed expansion. Its the first theme park in America and is also home to America's first petting zoo. All conceived in the founders imagination well back in the mid 1940s. Disney imagineers visited a number of times in the early 1950s for guidance in their effort to lift Disneyland off the drawing board. This is a very special place it features many live shows and musical reviews throughout the day, family friendly rides, quaint gift shops with Santa's elves making wonderful gifts, toys and tasty treats for your enjoyment throughout the park. We also visited on Columbus day weekend at the peak of the colorful fall foliage it was breathtaking. The last time was this winter just before Christmas for one of there Yuletide Family Weekend Getaways. Santa was great, his live reindeer team was in the reindeer barn they were awesome and also pulled Santa's sleigh in one of the live shows. There were lots of storybook and other costumed Christmas caricatures strolling and performing regularly threw out the park. Live two times daily they also perform an inspirational Nativity Pageant on a hill side above the the outdoor Yuletide Theater. There is even an ever frozen frosty NORTH POLE in the center of the village. Its 6 feet tall and solid ice (24-7-365) even in the heart of summer. This is in the heart of the high peaks area of New York States Famed Adirondack Park Preserve dotted with quaint little villages, mountain lakes and streams as well as other natural and entertainment attractions including all of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games venues in full operation for your pleasure. Santa's Work Shop, North Pole N.Y is a Hoot! Check it out .
