It's almost disgusting to me how hood this place is...
first of all, you got stylists wearing too tight, unflattering clothes, talking loudly, swearing, tryin to run a "professional" business. There's nothing professional about the place; there's a guys barber shop connected right next door, and you got dudes hanging at the door staring girls down and making inappropriate comments as they wait in the waitng area to be called.
Dont bother making an appointment...if you're not family or a friend to one of the stylists you'll wait 45min - an hour regardless.
My stylist had the most STANK attitude I've ever experienced. I have natural hair, and she obviously wasnt too pleased about the fact that she actually had to WORK at styling my hair...excuse me for not wanting a perm! the sign on the shop window DOES say specializing in perms, weaves, NATURAL STYLES.....if you dont like to do natural hair, then dont advertise that you specialize in it! Anyway, she did a good job so I tipped her, and she STILL had a stank attitude.
so besides my stylist being extra stank, you got the same gossiping, swearing, and just plain ghetto behavior that's enough to turn any non-hood person off.

This is why I have a hard time supporting black businesses...I get so disappointed because there are extremely talented stylists who turn me off simply because they lack professionalism. Sure, I wanna help my people out, but you gotta have something more to offer me other than being black if you want my business.

needless to say, I wont be going back.
