.

Let me start by saying that I graduated from the Automotive Technican program from APEX Technical Institute in September of 2009. After I completed this program with the letters of reccomendation from my instructors and the help of Krystal at the career department and much hard work and follow up on my part I was able to set up an appointment for entry to the prestigious BMW STEP program. It was a very labor intensive program and very informative. I would be lying if I said it was easy. The day of August 13, 2010 I received my BMW Certified Technican Level II degree from BMW of North America's training facility in Woodcliffe Lakes, NJ with eleven other classmates. I am now working in Atlanta, GA at a BMW center and work on E46, E90, E83, E60, etc... all day long. What people say about the program I can understand to a certain extent. Many of the teachers I am still in contact with and are great teachers. If you have a question they will go over it with you until you understand. What I am saying is that you get out of the program what you put into the program. People can bash how the school looks, their cars, equipment, whatever but their are many things they cannot bash, the quality of teachers that are all ASE certified, the cost for the program is half that of Lincoln Tech or WyoTech, and the student to teacher ratio.

Apex is full of CRAP!!!by Samuel Matthews.I have to agree with ryan w, I have seen junkyards with better equipment, the quality of the school is well i have to be blunt, the quality of the school is well crap, and the cars the that they use i wouldn't use for scrap they should be baned, and the instructors themselves don't know what they are talking about, except for teachers like Mr Elvis who teaches Engines, and Mr Boley who teaches Chassis, these two teachers are the best teachers in the whole school, if you are thing of going to Apex please (STAY AWAY FROM MR. DOVE, HE TEACHERS POWERTRAINS,IN ROOM 401 ON THE FOURTH FLOOR. THE MAN IS A ASS HOLE AND HE IS NOT FIT TO TEACH. A DONKEY AT THE ZOO CAN TEACH BETTER THAT THIS MAN.)the school it self is filthy i don't think that they ever clean the school, the cleaning staff at the school they all do drugs, and HARY he is the assistant for the automotive program he does drugs too, you can tell by the way he acts.

apex failed to meet my expectations but i feel as though its partly my fault for not realizing this until it was too late. the tuition is way too steep for the quality of the school. The cars to work on were junkyard quality american cars. the school was just in terrible condition.. my classroom in the 3rd segment had duct tape all over the windows, the room was filthy, the chairs were uncomfortable, the shop had one huge "makeshift" window where it was a huge sheet of wood instead of an actual window . the reason i chose to stay was because of the first 2 segments i had very very high quality intructors by the names of muller and ruiz. but after the 3rd month which also happens to be around the time where you can no longer choose to leave and collect your refund. the teachers dramatically got worse and worse and worse. By the 4th segment my entire class was very aggrevated by our instructor who spoke terrible english, and when we complained nothing was done.. why? in my opinion, once the refund period is over they simply dont care. positive things i can say about the school is the job placement department they were very helpful. and a very special thanks goes to mr muller and mr ruiz i beleive they are working for the wrong institution and deserve better.

PROS: Job placement department very helpful
CONS: School honestly isn't worth 13,300 dollars
