J & R's Steak House

I went there for my friend's birthday. It was really good food and a lot of fun. They do goofy things that make eating there an experience. We didn't have steak, but the wings and ale were good.

J & R's has a great menu, reasonably priced. Entree leaves you full. Good service, family atmosphere. Steaks cooked to perfection. Shrimp, Chicken, or Salads too! I would recommend this restaurant to others.

J&R steakhouse has the best steaks in town. They have good service. Too bad there is always a line out the door. Its a great place to bring the family but go early for the special before its filled with people. Desserts are great too!

Good steakhouse, even if you don't eat steak. I love their chicken dishes. If you're feeling hungry, you can try the 70 oz steak and if you eat it all, it's free! Very reasonably priced.

I've tried them all and I gotta tell you that J&R's always gives me great steaks at really low prices. I especially like the marinated porter house and my wife likes the prime rib special. Don't be fooled into thinking that their low price means low quality- all their steaks are Angus Certified. Go have a great meal and still have some money left over for a movie. By the way Kids eat Free!

Come hungry, this is the home of the old 76 you eat it all it's FREE, good luck. Most of the time you are seated right away, and most day's kid's eat FREE.
The steaks are big and tender, you'll probably need a doggie bag.

Ok - It's not Peter Luger. Nonetheless, as Long Island steakhouses go, this is the best value by far. One small recommendation - order your steak one grade rarer than you normally would, they do have a penchant for overcooking. So if you like it medium rare, order rare & you will find the steak to your liking.
