Wow! I am shocked to read the comment below... I have always taken my family to Kathy and have never had a negative experience, especially since she took ownership.
I love what Kathy has done with the salon. I, along with many, find her very professional and talented, as well as her staff.
I highly recommend this salon to others.
I love K's, I love the staff, but unfortunately I hate the experience whenever the owner is there. I find her rude and have had the same issue for all the years I've been going there. I actually try to schedule around her hours so I don't have to deal with it.
On a positive note, the girls that work there are always helpful and know exactly what I am looking to get done.
I have been going to Kathy salon since Irene owned it. When Irene owned it you could easily get a appointment with Kathy, but now that she owns it is harder and she is always leaving you in your seat while she answer the phone talks to customers when they come in. She is good but since she owns it it is very frustrating she needs to hire or trust her staff more.
This salon is not as updated as some salons but... my mom has been a client for years. She tried quite a few other salons and always seems to go back to this salon. The staff is pretty friendly and the prices are definitley lower then alot of other local salons.
