I worked at this deli for 10 years and the guy who commented "Mike T" doesn't know what he is talking about. I never saw a cockroach in ten years. They are very conscientious about that, unlike many restaurants.
The guy with the black hair at the register is not the owner. Not everyone may like it, but don't bad mouth about something that isn't true. They offer employees a lot better pay, benefits, and more than other delis.. I only left because I moved away. Would love to work there if I moved back!!!

This place is the worst the food is sub-par at best and you pay op dollar for it. the coffee is horrible and if you look by the rye bread there has been numorous sightings of cockroaches. they even have the nerve to never cut a freakin egg and cheese sandwich in half. i think the owner runs the register with the black hair and he has such an attitude you just want to smack him. the only reason this place does any buiness is because there is no other deli around.

I grew up in the area. Moved away for a military career. However, when I now get a chance to visit NY, Conn, or NJ. I take an extra moment to visit Rockys. I just can't find the bread, or quality meats where I reside now.. I guess it could be what I am used to eating while growing up. However, I have traveled the entire US, and still enjoy a sandwich, or buttered roll from Rockys. Even some of the best Deli's in the US just can not come close. A long distance fan...since 1963.

A lot of people hype about this deli, but I have eaten here a few times and find nothing special about it. The turkey sandwich tastes just like it does anywhere else, the burgers are adequate and the fries are nothing special. The prices are pretty high. This place is OK if you happen to be in the area, but not worth a trip from out of town.

PROS: sandwich variety
CONS: sandwiches taste ok, nothing special

Rockys is open 24 hours a day and no matter when you go in, there are always a crowd of people. They have a great grill that you can get pretty much anything you want anytime of the day. Their best thing is their chicken cutlet sandwich, I would travel the extra distance just for this sandwich!
