Their sales are decent BUT they do not take internet coupons and at times there are in store stipulations (you can only buy one and you must spend $20, etc.) on a sale that are not in the flyer. I think that borders on false advertising...the cashiers are more interested in when their breaks are or when they end work than their customers...if they weren't standing around so much maybe they could get the outdated food off the shelves, or have a customer service class they can attend, a smile and hello goes a long way...my trips are very limited....

I like shopping at this store as it is smaller and easier to get thru.
This is the only store that still carries Mrs Filberts Magarine. It is the only one I like and Tops is only going to carry it at Easter time.
They also have good deals on meats. I get my country style ribs for the best price when on sale.

Yesterday turned out to be my final and most tramatic shoping experiance with Jubilee. I stopped at the Blasdell Jubilee to do some shopping upon my checking out the cashier told me the total was $45.64. I gave her $60. she then gave me $4.36. when I questioned her on the missing $10 things got very strange. She denied the shortage and when I really questioned things I discovered that my total was only $35.64 and she claimed I only gave her $40. My recipet clearly showed that $60 cash was given and the change due should have been $24.36. I was cheated out of $20 not $10. I was unwilling to just leave my name and number till after her shift was over. They did pull her off the floor and count her drawer then and there. only to find out she was $120 short. The management then procceded to treat me like I was tring to pull a scam on them. I was basicly accussed of not knowing what I gave her and it was a miss key on her part. Claiming that she entered $60 instead of $40. Funny that there is another whole nuber between the 4 and 6. She miss keyed 2 spaces away? Needless to say after 40 minutes of this ordeaI, I ended up leaving the store without my $20 and a pice of paper with a name and phone number that I can call in the morning. All though they said they would take my name and number, no one bothered to ask me for it. The fallowing morning I called Blasdell Jubilee. They had found my $20 that I was shorted they day before. I went to the store to get my money and got the poorest appology ever. "Sorry about the mix up. Thanks for shopping at Jubilee." Nothing more after they put me thru 40 minutes of waiting and being made out to look like I was in the wrong and must be confused by what happened. They stood by the cashier insisting there was no way she could have shorted me when her drawer was short to start with. I am really appalled by the way I was treated and owed a much better applogy than here's your money and walk away from me. I was a customer who was wronged by their employee, embarssed by the managment accusing me of being in the wrong held up for 40 minutes and then just blown off when it was clear it was the cashiers fault. It seams very clear to me that Jubilee does not care about their customers. I advise you all not to shop there and if you do count your money a few times and shop with a witness.

Jubilee has the best baked goods of any supermarkets in the area. Their donuts and cookies are the best!

This is not the store from which to purchases "fresh" fruits and vegetables. The quality of these products is not too good. For example, even when I purchase apples during apple season, they are not sweet, the skin is loose and the tops and bottoms of the cores look "dusty." Yet the prices are usually more than other local grocery stores. The managers need better training also. I recently purchases a $3.39 loaf of bread from this Jubilee, and after my children had consumed some of it , I realized that the bottom of the bread was growing mold. When I checked the date on the bread tab it reflected a "buy by" date that indicated the bread was a week old, when I purchased. When I returned the remainder of the loaf with my receipt, the assistant manager Mark, refused to give my money back to me, for the stale bread that Jubilee sold me. He told me to call Pepperidge Farm to get my money back. When I pointed out to him that I bought the bread from Jubilee not Pepperidge Farm, he still refusd to return my $3.39 ! Needless to say I'll never shop there again.

I also think they need to have a flyer online. I prefer to shop here due to the size of the store and your not running around looking for things. Prices are competitive as well.

I agree with Kim. You should have an on-line flier like Tops & Wegmans. It would help you to compete with them. Now that the East Aurora Jubilee is closing no fliers are included with our penny saver, therefore I shop at Aldis, Tops and Wegmans. If it is not feasible to have an on-line flier you should include paper fliers with town/village penny savers from surrounding areas. I would love to include Jubilee on my shopping list again.Jack
